Purchased 5 tickets from fandango to see Solo May 27,2018. During the movie the theater had technical movies and we missed 20 minutes in the middle. I asked for a refund and they apologized and I was told I had to contact Fandango since I purchased through them.
I contacted Fandango. What terrible customer service. They refused to help me or give me a refund. They refused to call the theater and investigate. They told me I saw the movie, except for 20 minutes of the film and that I didn't deserve a refund!

Watch as your place in queue moves down and then suddenly back up. Try to call and you have to wait for a person OR leave your number and they will call you back (NOT!)

I have a gift card that my wife and I recieved a little while ago. When we were attempting to use it we kept getting a "there was a problem processing your gift card" error. Lets just say i am still on hold at 1 hour and 47 minutes of waiting. Absolutely horrible.
Fandango does not help when you missed your times, They will not issue refund/credit, when All i want is a credit to see the movie. Same theater and time.
You can't get a refund if the movie already started. Doesn't matter if you went to the hospital with a broken arm, they will not refund you anything. Worthless company. All they're good for is seeing showing times, other than that don't spend any money with them.

Fandango.com chat promised an answer in about 7 minutes but took over 40. Then it took an hour & 14 minutes to get an answer by phone. (I guess they are answering a lot of unhappy callers.)
The ONLY solution they have to ANY mistake is either a refund where you lose your $6.00 service fee or a credit to your account. Why would I want a credit to an account with a company that will not fix even their own mistake?

When I arrived at the theater, I learned the movie was cancelled because of a projector failure. They would not refund my ticket & told me to request one through Fandango.

I get these fandango gift cards from time to time. Its complicated to use and many theatres dont accept them. Today I went online and bought two tickets to use at Showcase Cinemas in White Plains N. I bought an RPX 3D tickets for Rampage (confirmation *******). When I arrived at the movie house, they do not have the RPX 3D version. I got a refund from the theater but I need to be refunded the $3 convenience fee I was charged. I tried to use an old $25 gift card on line & got no where so I called their helpline. What a farce & waste of time that was. Basically the card doesnt have a pin # so therefore it is not valid even though the fine print at the bottom of my card states there is no expiration date. So Fandango has my $25 & about 45 minutes of my time which I cant get either back! Avoid Fandango at all cost!

Do not buy tickets from Fandango. If you goggle fandango in your city you are most likely to get a theater in another city. And they pull you money from you account. When you call them your put in phone jail. They will ask you for a call back number, but they will never call you Ref # 1061. They wont fix there problem
Answer: Shauna, try Ken's suggestion. After years as a loyal customer & "Fan" of Fandango, I had an issue that should have been easily resolved. When I finally spoke to a live CSR, the response & subsequent email were robotic & useless. I now buy gift cards from the theatres & save my $$ and time. Good luck to you, though!
Answer: You do Julie S., but if you purchase it within 2 hours of the movie you are out of luck and that's what I happened to do. I accidentally chose that same day rather than the next day (Saturday) and since I was within a 2 hour time frame they said too bad. Never will use them again that's for sure. It was an honest mistake and I explained that but the woman on the phone was very nasty.
Answer: I would try emailing them, unfortunately there is no one to call as far as I know. If that doesn't work why don't you try calling a theater near you that takes fandango, ask for a manager. Answer: I didn't wake up with a dead horse in my bed but all other evidence in dealing with Fandango indicate that they are mob-owned. Perhaps the mob has more morals. Maybe not mob-owned. What would be worse than the mob because that's likely who owns them. Difficult question to answer. Best not to do business with them anyway.
