A more in depth guide to choosing lenses would be appreciated but the information is there once I serched.
Excellent payment plan paying with Amazon...glasses were packaged well.
I like the Shuron brand...would buy again, Good Value.
Lens quality is very good. Glasses will require additional adjustment of frame, probably by an ptician.
High-quality personal customer assistance. Two-year Crizal warranty at no extra charge is generally unavailable from other dealers.
Delivery time was much longer than expected and customer service kept loosing my prescription -- after 3x they finally straightened it out.
I checked a bunch of online eyewear sites, yours was the easiest and had the best choices AND prices.
INCREDIBLE ALMOST MEMBER'S EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE
Incredibly fast delivery time, even a week prior to the initially claimed schedule!
The extras packed into the delivery reinforced the genuine newness of these Duck's Unlimited frames, named Focus. I researched this frame for a bit before purchasing. These Focus frames carry the Ducks Unlimited authentic logo, and were designed by The McGee Group in Georgia, which has been an American based company in Georgia for the past 40 years. Unlike purchasing at the local opticians, where the frames are already extracted from the original packaging, instead these frames came bundled with all those genuinely new extras, such as:
1... the plastic protective sleeve over the frame's arms
2...the coated cardboard spacer (with the Ducks Unlimited logo proudly visible) tucked behind the lenses, but in front of the folded-down frame arms
3...plastic bag encasing the entire frame
4...the original wonderful Ducks Unlimited zipper case
5...medium integrity foam bag encasing the entire Ducks Unlimited case
6...outer shipping container
So in every detail, the inner packaged frame was completely protected by any unknown variables from causing any harm during any portion of delivery. And the marketing included with the frames provided an almost member's exclusive feel to opening the frames for the first time. All those extras I hadn't expected and rarely even think about, but provided a value-added experience. I continue feeling being part of a greater community wearing these frames, even after having passed through all that initial marketing experience. A portion of my purchase is redistributed to Ducks Unlimited for preserving wetland environments and their ecosystems (including of course ducks).
I'm delighted with the service, and very, very pleased with the products. Round specs with matching sunglasses clips are not easy critters to find, and I really love the selection available, the colors, and the sunglasses clips available to fit many sizes of round lens. The only difficulty I've had, and the rapid service and easy return process make it less of a difficulty, is choosing the size of the lenses...the 42 mm in the true round were considerably bigger than the 41s in a modified round I'm wearing now, and even the 40 mm round seems a little bigger than I am used to, although it would work. However, there is always the 38 mm to try, and I plan to have a look at it before I decide definitively.
The only other "difficulty" is desperately wanting to see each color option in person and to try each one on, but I think--I think--I have narrowed the choices down somewhat. For now. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much! You have made me a very happy round-spectacles-wearing-most-of-my-life person!
Finally, the quality of frames at the price (Dolomiti brand) is remarkably good, so good, in fact, that I can afford these frames in more than one color eventually. These are probably my new favorite specs--the ones I'm wearing, currently my all-time lifetime faves, are no longer made in colors I like or that would suit me well (I've asked. I've hunted. I've scoured the internet. I own two pairs. They were more than twice as expensive as the Dolomitis, too...).
I'm fifty-four heading for fifty-five, I've worn glasses since I was seven, and I'm pretty serious about what I love and what works for me optically (significant myopia and astigmatism, and progressive bifocals now), and I am well beyond thrilled to have found Dolomiti on Eyeglasses.com. Thanks again!
I recieved e xpert care from the customer service agent who helped me fulfill this order. She was Very knowledgeable
Did not like the way the frames fit once they arrived so I sent them back for a full refund
It took longer then I had hoped. I'm having the lens put in now. I'm hoping they hold up well.
This site doesn't trip you up so that you have to go back and do everything all over again. Bravo
Easy web site to find glasses. Loved the search bar so I could type in what I was looking for.
Progressive lenses Varilux Comfort, Crizal coating all OK
What is not OK, ordered Totally Rimless frame TR193 Brown
My frame temples clearly state 52- "18" 135 BRN TR-19
Specially ordered this frame for the narrower bridge width of 18mm, however eyeglasses.com does not bother with McGee group drilling guide or use the correctly drilled demo lenses they just drill close to both edges which gave me a bridge width of 22mm, the exact opposite of what I was expecting, made the total frame width 8mm larger and seems to throw off my PD (you pay extra for drilling what stops them from doing it correctly)
Contacted customer service was transferred to lab and was called back by lab rep. With the excuse that they been sent a frame with the 22mm bridge width because the 18mm as been on back order for weeks?
Contacted McGee group, there is no such thing as a TR193 with "22mm" bridge, only comes in "18mm" and is available!
Really surprised that a company like Eyeglasses.com let a customer services rep. Make such excuses, surely would expect better from my employees.
So much for Total Satisfaction
Took me awhile to settle on a frame/lens combo but, after that, it was easy to place an order.
If you have about a month for a simple frame replacement use these guys. Mine "only" took 28 days!
Very easy! I would recommend the ability to sort by eyeglass sizes as I need a pretty high PD.
Website specifies free shipping to Hong Kong, but at payment only DHL express is allowed at $15 extra.
SIMPLE AND EASY AND GOOD PRICING, ALSO ALL MY QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ON LINE
Website was easy to use. Would of been nice to have a discounted rate for first time buyer.
Answer: If you have a significant correction like me their quality is poor! Go somewhere you can trust will have quality control and customer service to help if your lenses don't actually correct your vision.
Answer: They are legit; I've used them several times over the past decade.
Answer: Less than 2 weeks in my experience, which involved sending in my existing Ray Ban frame to have the new prescription lens installed.
