I just placed my third order with EyeBuyDirect because they give good value for the money and their customer service is excellent. My first pair of glasses at Costco cost me almost $350. I got a pair from EBD for <$100 (progressive lenses) and reading glasses which was much less! I lost my glasses and just ordered two pair in the event I get careless and lose one of them again.
I talked to Richard, who was very helpful. I had to call back 3 times and he helped me place my order. He spent a long time on the phone with me walking me through, which I appreciate. Since it's been a year since I placed my last order, he told me that he would apply free shipping, which didn't go through, I paid the shipping. I only wear my glasses to drive and my previous pair frames have already broken. I'll see how durable the new frames are.
I'm never let down by the ease nor the quality of my purchases with EBD. The glasses are always affordable, and you cannot deny the bang for your buck. Love it!
I was an avid Zenni Optical user until they started asking calling doctors for verification. It's not like we're buying drugs. We are buying glasses. So I made the switch yo Eye buy direct. I love their products, which are much more in tune with our generation.

When it came time to replace my old "backups", the prices I saw at brick and mortar retailers made me think, "uhhhhh no thanks." I have always had such a good experience with buying on eyebuydirect. So many nice styles to choose from and such quick service makes it my #1 choice for online glasses shopping!
Firstly, their site doesn't work with Safari, switched to Chrome and thought it would be easier but of course not. You cannot compare frames by choosing a particular frame that you might haven't already liked, instead you're directed to search for a certain design or style NOT by the name, so it's useless trying to see anything side by side if you're deciding between two or three.
Check out was a challenge also. It literally offers you "Eyewear Cases Starting At $3.50" BUT then there's no way to purchase them! In fact, they don't even come up when you search "case,' Total fail and lost that sale.
Also, when placing an order, the first class USPS free shipping is expected to be 7 to 14 days for delivery, EXACKLY the same as it says for their $19 UPS delivery even though it then says it may be 2 to 4 days sooner? We ship first class USPS to the UK and it takes 7 to 10 days on average, where is this company? And there's no way to punch in a zip code and get an actual estimate like every other site I shop on? What an archaic site and system.
Lastly, customer service is only available 9AM to Noon so we couldn't get an answer to our question, Thank goodness they have 14 day return policy, if they even honor it that is, don't trust them just yet and doubt we'll ever purchase again.
I ordered from EyeBuyDirect, back in November of 2017and was highly pleased. Their products are durable, high quality, and very affordable. I buy their glasses solely for aesthetic purposes, although I just ordered a pair with blu-light protective lens that I'm very excited to try out, I'm sure that they won't dissapoint!

There are no rubber frames or frames with straps for active little ones. I'm also dissapointed in the promos. I was led to believe I was getting a 20% discount and still wound up paying $30 for my $29 pair after i hit shipping. I ended up getting a pair that were cute but idk if theyll last on a two year old

I've used EBD a few times now; I first ordered glasses for myself and my sister, then ordered her prescription sunglasses, then, after rolling over on my glasses [oops!], bought the same pair again and just today ordered prescription sunglasses! Always fast, easy, amazing price, I was able to choose the frame, lenses, my prescription is already saved, my card information and address is saved and so my entire order time was only about 10 minutes in total! I also like that you can label the prescriptions so if multiple people have the same account you can save the prescriptions under their names for no confusion in the future! Love EBD, recommend to friends, family, and even strangers when they compliment my glasses. The November frame is my favorite and I will soon have the same frame in sunglasses! Love it :)

I absolutely love them. I have shopped with this company for 2 years now for me and my children anytime we need a backup pair or a primary pair I shop with them. I first heard about eyebuydirect from my optometrist which was weird because people usually don't advertise for other companies but she said she shopped there and told me nothing but good things about them and she was right! I bought like 5 pairs of glasses now and i will continue to shop here. Oh one thing you must purchase an eyeglass case its viable for shipping. I didnt once and my glasses were delivered crushed.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
