EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

Need these for vaca starting June 18, hope I get them in time, hint, hint. Update: Got 'em!
These sunglasses are very nice and feel like good quality. I was a little disappointed with the nearly 2 week long order processing and delivery time, but at least I got a nice pair of shades in the end!
I was surprised with the quality and everything online love it
Was excellent, I didn't receive it in the day I want but the product an price were the best.
I love both of my glasses. I was able to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses plus my much-needed updated prescription everyday functioning eyeglasses.
They had exactly what i wanted in a glasses frame!
Fantastic customer service, very knowledgeable, reasonable prices on frames I love. Definitely will be back! Thanks!
It was great and easy and quick! Thank you so very much
Great value for nice, up-to-date styles. The service and quality was great. I did have to return a pair to get a better option for the readers. I wish there was more options for no-line bifocals, it surprised me that I could only get my choice in a lined bifocal; I didn't even think that was available, it's antiquated. But I'm getting used to them. Like stated earlier, quality is great. When I had to return for a new pair, the agent was very helpful, but did have to put me on hold several times to get assistance. At the end of the call I was happy and she was very adamant that I was happy. Nice service!
Wow--you guys make it very easy to try on/purchase glasses. I've had good experiences both times that I've ordered from EBD.
Everything from the selection to the price was awesome and not overpriced
These glasses fir well and are super cute i actually like them more than my expensive glasses i got from the eye doctor
I am very happy with the service that I received. I am satisfied with the eye glasses; although the extra thin hi-index I got didn't seem as thin as expected.
I made an error in measuring my PD and EyeBuyDirect contacted me and had me recheck my measurements. I had ordered another pair of glasses from a different company, and they didn't even mention to me that my measurement was out of the normal range. I love the glasses, even though the colour isn't as orange as picture on the website. Very pleased with the care that went into making my purchase a pleasant one.
I chose the wrong size for my glasses, but the fantastic online agent (I think her name was Isabella?) assisted me in fixing them before they shipped. Couldn't be happier with the product and the service.
Easy! I just wish Raybans were buy one get one free!
Quick, super easy, inexpensive... hopefully I'll love the glasses too!
I found the website difficult to navigate and had to ask assistance from my husband who had used it before. Aldo, the language around eyewear was confusing as was translating my prescription onto the site.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
