The website could be a little easier to navigate, it seems to be more focused on how nice it looks and getting to places and checking out is harder than it should be. Glasses do take a while, i usually get them in 3 weeks so if my current ones are broken/outdated its frustrating. But they have good prices and i havent had any issues with the quality so ill continue to use their site.

I love the fact that EyeBuy Direct has such a huge selection of quality frames and I am not limited to the 5- 10 frames offered through my lousy vision insurance.
As I don't wear makeup or jewelry most days, my eyeglasses are my accessories and I color coordinate with my clothes.
The only thing I don't like is that when you spend over $50-100 dollars you have to pay shipping.

I have bought many glasses over the years from EyeBuyDirect. I made the decision to switch from the Lenscrafters of the world at $600 for a pair of eyeglasses to under $100/pair with EyeBuyDirect. And I am very happy about it. My eyesight changes often and I need new glasses every couple of years which is my schedule. I wanted to lower my costs. EyeBuyDirect is good value for my money/ I have had frames break quite often. Sometimes they are replaced by the company other times I just buy a new frame. I have computer glasses, bifocals and sunglasses. Several computer glasses for my several computer locations. Just be aware the frames break often. The nose pads fall off and In have a kit to replace them. That works. But if the frame itself break, they need replacing, Have a strategy for how to replace: purchase new or send it back. Anyway, this is good value for money.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
