However, some customers expressed concerns regarding payment processing issues and incomplete orders, which led to dissatisfaction. Overall, while the company excels in product quality and customer support, addressing payment and fulfillment inconsistencies could enhance the overall customer experience and mitigate negative feedback.

Purchased an exhaust based on the "fit my vehicle" feature of their website and it selected the wrong part. Not a big deal but i didn't have a chance to install until; after the 30 return period and noticed the issue at that point. Called customer service and they wouldn't honor a return. If it was my fault I would deal with it but the wrong part was sent and an exception should have been made. They charge more but provide install videos so I supported them but not any more, I'll be shopping else where.
Ordered seats from them, week later they r
10 miles from my house n sent back 2 them
Because shipping left scan sticker on box to
Them from supplier. 2 hrs on phone with them. Seats have not reshipped 7 days later,
They r the worst ever!
My husband ordered ball joints. He received the wrong ones TWICE. He called. They would not let him speak to a manager he couldn't get anywhere with Brandon. Then Brandon called him a jerk and hung up. My husband then calls back and is told they put the wrong picture with the part they sent him and they don't carry the part he actually needs. They really know what they are doing. I wouldn't give it even one star if I didn't have to.
I have spent a pretty good chunk of change with these people in the past year or so, and most everything has gone well except for side step rails for my Jeep. I own a hunting and safari business here in Tennessee. I take clients to Africa, Alaska and Texas and have several 4x4 auto's including Jeeps. I got a set of step rails from them that were from Red Rock in a 3" tube steel that was powder coat black. The instructions called for install on the driver side first which went great and looked great, but on the passenger side I got three bolts in the rail at the bracket but the fourth threaded insert was just spinning around and would not take the bolt to tighten it down. It is alot of work to put these damn things on if you have ever done it. You mount the brackets first and then line up the rail to screw to them. When I called Extreme Terrain to let them know abought it, I told them all I need was the Right side passenger step rail and That should do it. I would send back the defective rail. Nope, They wanted me to send both rails and hardware back for credit and wait for a new set to come in. Thats nuts, I wasn't going to go back around my jeep and take all the stuff off to send back when all I needed was One rail. I don't have the time to work for extreme terrain for free and make my clients wait. This is not the first time I have had issues with this company, but the results were the same; no service after the sale. I will tack weld the rail to the bracket and Never do business with extreme terrain again. The biggest thing with me is service after the Sale. Taking care of the Customer. Thats why my clients come back to me time and time again. I will fill with the BBB, buyer beware here. Terry L. Spencer.
-When I called the ExtremeTerrain at the beginning of October and asked for flat black rims I was told this is what I would be getting (photo 1) All flat black with black Center caps
-what was sent to me are GLOSSY rims with BRIGHT RED and BLUE pin strips and chrome Center caps! (photo 2, Center caps arrived badly damaged)
Again I called and spoke with a Representative of the company and was told that I would have black Center caps sent to me
Caps arrive and are to small ( photo 3)
Now the company refuses to correct what is no fault of mine other then purchasing over the phone and believing what was said to be true by them ( twice!)
I've asked for someone to contact me and all the company offers is to replace the damaged chrome Center caps which are now on BACKORDER! With no ETA
I am not asking for a refund
ALL I AM ASKING FOR IS WHAT I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE GETTING
I have spent a lot of money in a short amount of time on a new build. This was a project I took time off work for, to get this accomplished. There were probably six total orders a two week period. They screwed up 1/3 of those orders. Three rear shocks and one front. A head light, instead of a fog light... terrible! Stay away!
I ordered $200 control arms for a 2016 Jeep and I received a $20 (maybe) sunshade for a truck. This was not the issue because anyone can make a mistake. When I called customer service I talked to a very nice man named Todd. After speaking with management he confirmed that they could not send me my control arms until they received their sunshade. Hello, but you sent me the sunshade that I don't even have a vehicle for. The least they could have done is to go ahead and get my correct order in the process of being shipped.
I made my order by phone and 2 out of 6 items were wrong and 1 never arrived. When I called, the representative said he would email me a return label for the wrong items, and for his mistake, ship my replacement parts immediately, which he did not. I said I would put the label on the box and leave it by the curb for UPS to pick up, which never happened. After days of no pickup, I inquired and now EXT wanted ME to fix their mistakes and call UPS for pickup, which their representative was supposed to do, or for ME to take the mis-shipped items to the UPS on MY time before they would ship my new parts. I've wasted hours waiting on the phone with returns and customers NO SERVICE and days for parts that were not on the way as promised. If you ask me, Extreme Terrain could care less about how much their customers are inconvenienced even after their own mistakes. I will NEVER do business with them again.
Extreme Terrain is TERRIBLE! I wish I had looked up reviews for this company before I started buying from them as it would have saved me a TON of headache. I've placed a total of 4 separate orders from these guys and 3 out of the 4 have been messed up. They sent the wrong part. The shipping and receiving department must be morons. So after the 4th order arrived and it had a wrong part, I decided to do some investigating. Low and behold I find out I'm not the only one having a crappy experience with this company. I STRONGLY encourage you to buy your parts elsewhere less you want to deal with screw up after screw up.
Ok, once again I have ordered from your company and once again I am extremely impressed. I ordered a Smittybuilt SRC Rear Bumper. I didn't order with the D Rings and had to fix my order. I called customer service and got it all fixed, the customer service person i dealt with was awesome. Yet, that wasn't the only thing that impressed me. I ordered this on Wednesday and received it on Thursday. I was shocked to say the least. I have told everyone I know who has a Jeep to only deal with your company. Other companies I have dealt with in the past, are not near as awesome as you all are. Thanks again for such great customer service.

Ordered five pre-assembled rims, tires and TPMS sensors. Found out all TPMS sensors were loose when tire went flat Within first month. Year-and-a-half later TPMS sensors are bad and all they say is nothing they can do for me.
All I wanted to do was post my Jeep on this site but in order to do that, you must buy their products... BAD IDEA! Good products... bad company! They have no clue how to send an order out correctly!
With Covid and hurricanes flying around, ordering parts can be a difficult job. However after days of calling around, I found a lift kit at ET and called to order it. Jay was my salesman and he said they only had 1 in stock in the warehouse and could make it to me by the weekend (Labor Day). I explained my situation (had a weekend off, needed parts by Friday) and he put me on hold to verify stock. After 5 mins or more, he comes back and tells me it is the warehouse and can ship 9-1. Well, I am now told it will not ship until 9-15,2 weeks after promised. I have my jeep tore apart in the garage, a borrowed car that i need to return monday. I ordered my shocks and control arms and had them expedited ($200 in EXTRA shipping costs) to ship it all in by Friday. After all, ET was going to have my lift kit here Friday for me to install this weekend. NOPE. They LIED. It was NOT in the warehouse. Now I have a tore apart jeep, paid $100 MORE from ET (over a local guy who said it would take 2 weeks) and overnighted/expedited other parts in to make a complete lift kit. After calling them, they offered a LAUGHABLE $20 gift card for my inconvenience. Not even close to the $200+ in expedited shipping costs and the $100 extra I paid at ET because they had it in stock. I am deleting their app and will NEVER shop there again. NEVER. Quadretec or Amazon from now one. ET will never get anymore of my money and you should be careful spending yours there. I tried to cancel my order but was told it would take a week or so to get the refund back on my card. I am stuck ordering the kit through ET, but I will never order anything there again and I will tell everyone i come in contact with about my problems and their $20 offer. $200 might have cooled the burn, but $20 was fuel to the fire.
My fault for not researching reviews on this firm before I called. I ordered a new wheel and tire (mounted). Upon receipt of the product I realized that the wrong size tire was ordered. Since the tire was already mounted to the wheel, I was advised that their return/exchange policy is absolutely no refund. The manager advised that i should have seen this on their website and I should have been advised of this at the point of sale. Neither of which occurred.
Customer service for return/exchange process was poor and it took almost 3 days to receive a return phone call via the "escalation process". End result: I take a $200 plus loss on the transaction...…. I broke my cardinal rule of never purchasing tires over the internet... live and learn.
I have been using Extreme Terrain for about 6 months now and have spent a lot of money. I have never had a problem with them and even got the back ordered rear bumper in under 10 days. Called them a couple of times and I thought they were friendly and helpful. Love this company
Where do I start? So many disappoints, sadly I can't think of any one thing that was right.
Primary issue - bumper arrived damaged and parts falling out of the box. Customer service, non existent at best, to mention the business owner has a concept of service is as worthless as the written words. I would suggest the owner close shop and stop trying to be a successful business, to have made it to this point in time has been by pure luck and ignorance of the buyer (including myself). I honestly thought the company was a front for some scheme, a fraudulent online business. It may still be - it is worth investigating.
Sad to see companies like this take business away from successfully ran businesses.
Best way to sum it up - this company is a joke. Using the word company is being kind. I wish I had tlooked at the BBB rating before wasting time with this business joke. I tried to attach photos but was unsuccesful. The bumper was not secured or packaged in the box, the small parts were not in a bag. Everytime the bumper slid in the box it would cut holes into the cardboard. What a disappointment for a company? I stil lthink it is a front.
I have bought from them in the past and received my orders within a week. My recent purchase I bought a bumper and right before I hit purchase I called them and asked if the item was in stock, The guy one the phone told me yes it is in stock, so I made my purchase, 3 days later I got a email saying it is out of stock and would be 8-10 weeks, so 8 weeks go by I get a email noting the item is back in stock( Monday). The next day I call them to see when its going to ship they said that day it would ship, I called again 3 days later(Friday) and was told the next day it would ship. I noticed on Tuesday the item went out of stock again. Now it's the fight to get my money back and order from their competitor.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST EVER.MY REAR SHOCK IS LEAKING. I CONTACTED THEM 3 WEEK AGO I'M STILL WAITING FOR A CALL BACK OR A EMAIL. THE SHOCK IS ONLY 8 MONTH OLD THE WARRANTY IS GOOD FOR 3 YEARS. I SENT PHOTOS ASPER THERE REQUEST.IM STILL WAITING!
I purchased the Raxiom factory backup camera with the interface and it stopped working after only 2 months of use. After speaking with Extreme Terrain they would not warranty this product and would not refund any of my money. I was told to contact the manufacturer and they would possibly warranty my purchase? NOPE!
Come to find out the manufacturer that was making the interface and camera was bought out by another company and stopped making this product several years ago. After speaking with the company that used to offer this camera system I was told that Extreme Terrain has a bunch of these packages sitting in their warehouse that they cannot get rid of. In Short, Extreme Terrain knows this and once they find a buyer they sell it to you and keep your money. This company is a scam!
Called Extreme Terrain for advice, I spent $600 on 4 new shocks, I was told to check my email, which I did an hour later, only to find they were sending me 4 front shocks, should have been 2 front & 2 rear shocks, called them back & was told they can't cancel the order & to return them when they arrive, which is ok, I asked them to send the correct shocks & was told I needed to pay for these too, spoke to a supervisor who said he will sort everything out & call me back the following day, he never called back, so I cancelled my order & had to wait 3 weeks before they refunded my money, I will never buy anything from Extreme Terrain again & would recommend to everyone to do the same.
Answer: They have broken several federal consumer protection laws in my 2 experiences with them.
Answer: Scam as far as I'm concerned. Cheat you out of product and don't make it right, how else do you describe them?
Answer: Not worth giving this company a second chance. Other more legit companies to purchase from.
Answer: Have a lot of time, be patient and expect nothing. ANd you will be fine. If
