So far I have just ordered the parts I wanted. The selection and variety are great and the prices seem competitive.
Finding what I was looking for was easy.
Now, just hoping installing them is easygoing.
So far my experience has been nothing. Havent even got my parts yet and have had 5 emails asking to review them and the website. So far my experience has been annoyed by extreme terrain
I received one of the two purchased items within days - extremely fast delivery. The second item (significantly smaller item) in my order took 22 days after I submitted my order to arrive. Furthermore, I waited a couple of weeks before inquiring about the status of the second item, received a response in about 24 hours, was told I should expect a follow-up in 24-48 business hours and that never happened. Instead, 5 days after submitting my inquiry, the item just showed up while the tracking info on the website still shows that it's being processed.
It was very easy to order on the web site, clear selections to get the correct product for our jeep wrangler. Looking forward to receiving our product, my husbands Valentine's Day gift.
I sadly, the part that I received was no different than a $30 part off of Amazon. Neither one of them worked correctly. So I thought the $100 part would be a higher quality but. What's the same as a $30 part of a Amazon?
The starter didnt get here yet. Paid the $9.99 for delivery in 24 hours. It got flown to Saint Louis. That was good. Got sent to a UPS center in East Alton, IL early this morning. A little after 8am they said they have it but I wont be getting it until Monday between 12:30pm-2:30pm. They're only 30-45 minutes away. So 🤷🏻 I blame UPS.
Found what I was looking for and at a cheaper price. My only issue and it's not ET fault is I haven't received my package yet. FedEx is taking their sweet time. Been 2 cities over for 3 days now!
SAM was very knowledgeable and very helpful with the purchase of the big break kit. I will be looking forward to the installation of this kit and the better stopping performance of this kit.
I paid for shipping and expected my wheels and tires to arrive on February 22, which was already a bit of a stretch, but I was fine with it since they would come mounted and balanced. I scheduled other maintenance for my car based on that delivery date. Now, my car is going into the shop without the tires, and I have no idea when they will arrive. There's no updated delivery date, and the lack of communication is frustrating. It's disappointing to spend this much money and be left in the dark about where my order is.

Extreme Terrain is extremely fast shipping and their prices are generally the same or better than other retailers. They also have an exhaustive product list so I'ts the first place I look for anything I need.

Very unhappy called 4 times was put on hold each time because customer rep didn't know much about the item I purchased. And as I was on hold for about 10 to 15 mins each time I was hung up on. Loss $75 on mechanic and loss the money from the item I purchased because I got frustrated it didn't fit and I threw it in the garbage..

I ordered exhaust insulators for my JK weeks ago, but they never shipped. USPS tracking never progressed past "label created". When I messaged about it, the associate told me it was lost in shipping. I don't think this is true. If you forgot about the order, tell me you forgot about the order. Bottom line, tell the truth and your customers will appreciate it much more than a lie.
Instead of going above and beyond, they did literally the minimum to make the situation right. The best they could do for my cheap order was, " we will investigate and in a few business days, we'll send you a replacement or you can have a full refund". No rush delivery, no partial refund and delivery, no gift certificate, and no apology.
I need my Jeep running because I can't keep borrowing cars. Honestly, customer service is dead across the board. As a business owner, the customer should always be right, even when they're wrong (within reason). You exist to offer services and goods to customers, so stop treating customers like a burden. Go the extra mile to actually earn business.
Whatever. I'm tired and annoyed at this entire situation. I've given up expecting to pre-pandemic customer service to return.

I called with a question and Brynden was very helpful. He answered my question about a product and took my entire order over the phone in no time. I've ordered parts from Extreme Terrain in the past and they were all great, as well are the installation videos. This is the only place I will shop for Jeep parts
I've have purchased several items in the past mouths I have installed them all I'm a self DIY if possible I haven't second guessed any installation the main reason is because everything that I've purchased from this company has bolted up perfect fit with that said all the parts are high quality and easy for me to install whatever you need for your truck I would recommend this company to purchase quality parts that all have been easy installation that save the consumer money.
I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She opened it and noticed that it was broken. After looking more at it, it appears like it was sold and someone tried to install it and then shipped it back. Will be contacting customer service tomorrow to exchange it.

Exactly as stated. The only issue we had was that it was missing one of the nuts. Glad we had extras at home. Just check your stuff. Other than that GREAT ITEM. We need that lift to help my dad get in as he is 91 so we can take him places.

I ordered a correct set of running boards for my vehicle open box which was guaranteed to fit, the items I received were not correct fitting. I reached out to Customer service they could not give me an explanation as to why someone sent me wrong sized boards. I then inquired about simple exchange, was told "I strongly recommend you take this refund". I stated I would like the correct product that I Ordered. It should be noted when I purchased my boards there was options for brand new and 4-5 open box, now magically it's not sold at all anymore. Cleary they were falsely advertising wrong sizes. Company cant give an explanation or own up to their mistake and make it right but trying to make a negative experience positive. Apparently the best they can do is $75 dollars for store credit, looking at reviews they have offered $80 in the past they are getting cheaper.

Wheels fit perfectly! After a failed attempt to get a set of wheels that fit and a frustrating return process I reordered a set that fit.
Answer: They have broken several federal consumer protection laws in my 2 experiences with them.
