Recently changed my insurance, was awaiting a script due on 4/4/23, was informed because of my insurance the script was no longer active, not because the doctor didn't order it but due to insurance. No option to self pay, no notification of not refilling it. Called express scripts response this is their policy. What a foolish policy. Your insurance determines whether you need the medication, not your doctor. Seven years of using express scripts, when my insurance gets straightened out, I will not be returning.

I have been on a certain medication for 10 year from them. Now, they will not approve the medication from a DOCTOR because he no longer has the baseline level of pre medicine levels! After 7 years the Docotor purges the system of old data... so, now, I have been without an important medication and I'm having a lot of medical issues because of this. My doctor has been fighting this and appealing the decision for 5 months! Express Scripts and the government SUX!

Horrendous

I had a good experience with Express Scripts for about 5 years...the last 6 months have been an utter nightmare.

They can't get any of the prescriptions correct. They continually are missing the automatic refill and this week was the final straw. I went through the process of getting a prescription, pre-approval for Mounjaro...then was told it was fill and shipped and the same day I got a note it was in short supply and can't ship. Have the doctor call in another prescription. HUH? Can't fill it but reorder it. Did this three times all the same result. My doctor then called in a replacement in Ozempic. All seemed good, then got another note that it needed pre-approval. That was given the and got a note the NEXT DAY...it needed pre-approval. I finally called them and talked 25 minutes to get this refilled and was told it was approved and processed. TODAY.I get another note that I have to start the entire process over. Forget them...they are amateurs and really screwed up. I am going back to local pharmacies.

Very Disappointed

Will you please get customer service representatives who speak and understand English. There has been ongoing miscommunication, and this is not okay when it comes to medications and our health. I can't imagine where in the world our calls are being sent to? I feel just as sorry for the sales reps as its got to be so frustrating for them as well.

I have not had a problem with Customer service, obtaining my mail prescription medicine timely. My issue is my diabetic med that has gone up in price $136.00 to a total of $586.00. The increase came after the Insulin cap of $35.00. So to me my increase is because of the cap. I work hard to stay on pills and not have to go on Insulin. This is how Pharma & associated help people. Don't get me wrong, I am happy about the cap, it would have helped my family, but God forbid you lose $ helping people with costs. You just have found a way of recovering your Loss. People out here need help!

Never received med. Called express scripts to see why. They said I had to call shipping company. They are the ones who contracted shipping company but told me I had to call them. So I did and shipping said it was lost, to call back express scripts. So after 6 hrs on phone to them and 3 days they finally said we're not going to replace meds. So I called my insurance -cigna healthspring and they finally made express scripts send me more med. They don't seem very professional.

Terrible

I find that Express Scripts goes to extreme efforts to change charges to higher amounts. I call them and get bounced from one office to another but never get my charges back where they had been or where they should be. If I could give them a ZERO I would do that

It toots 10 days to receive a prescription, could not reach a doctor to request a refill. Every time doctors send a prescription you need to call them and request it and approve it. First line of customer service needs to get more training, I need always to talk to a supervisor to get my medication. They don't even deserve the one star They suck

I switched jobs and ended up with this one.
Prescriptions take too long to be received, and when I have needed to call Customer service about a problem I have to call MULTIPLE times to get it right. Waste of my time.
I wish my company would dump these guys.

Worst service I've had
February 18, 2023

I've been out of my medicine for almost 2 weeks now. My Rx was sent in on Monday, and but it hasn't even been processed. Today is Saturday.
I called on Thursday to find out what I needed to do, but everything was handled on my end. I told them I needed my medicine as quickly as possible, but there was "nothing more they could do" and it "might" ship out on Tuesday- leaving me without my medicine another week.

This has been the most difficult and worst experience I've had and I don't appreciate paying for this service. My last service worked much better and I had zero issues.
I don't recommend this service to anyone.

They tell you that you must get the meds from them or pay extra. Aren't we paying them for their service! I refuse to pay for 90 days of meds then have dr change it. Or they send what I don't need.

My card on auto but I've been getting medication thru cvs, why express say oh yeah we been filling ur scripts, liar liar got record show cvs been filling so why is express stealing my money from fsa card, I think tht is a federal offense I will ask an attorney before moving forward, I wish I could give zero stars

Lack of honesty

First time ordering. Told via telephone my orders would be $12 each for 3 months. Today received the 2 orders. One was for $12 but only sent 2 bottles, not 3 for the 3 months. The other one had an invoice for $68 instead of $12 which I emailed the company and noted on package to Return to Sender. The $68 one I previously paid $17 for elsewhere but who no longer has a contract with Tricarefor Life. This is my first experience with this Express Scripts.

What a bad joke

Oh wait, getting your perscription medicine shouldn't be a joke - it should be very planned, timely, and serious. So saying ES is a joke is a horrible and serious thing. All the insurances want you to use mail order pharmacies and it's cheaper than using local pharmacies. It would sure be nice if the services actually worked. IMHO ES is seriously broken and it seems they sont care that is broken. Big business and collusion with the pharmacy insurance companies allowing it to combine to survive.

My recommendation after having tried to use their services is STAY AWAY, pay a little more and user local pharmacy. Sadly...

I have used mail order medications from many places for years. First time with Express. Horrible. It took 4 days of "processing" after my doctor sent in the prescription. Then I approved it. Then it was processing again and took 9 more days to get it. The people on customer service are uniformed, rude and not what you would expect from a company like this. Supervisor was no better. Use a local pharmacy.

* took 11 days and counting to verify prescription (existing) - told on phone (40 min call) that it takes 24-48hrs
* phone operator was barely understandable

* website and app have no tracking for in-progress prescriptions

Seems like they cant execute on basic job functions

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, they are the worst and heartless, when it comes down to getting your medication transferred back to a local pharmacy, I called, explain to them, I no longer have an mailing address, I needed my medication transferred back to my local pharmacy and I'm completely out of medication, I was told the Pharmacy that I wanted to transfer my medicine to had to call, but they did, while I was standing with them waiting, so I can start on my medications again, but along with me the Pharmacy had no luck getting them, this morning, I called Express Scripts back, then I was told my doctor had to send in a refill, for which I will not receive, cause I disconnected my mail order prescriptions for the lack of an address, but my doctor send in a refill to them yesterday as well, by mistake, they was going by what they had in their system which was Express Scripts, I have to keep yelling and fighting with them to get my medication, that I'm completely out of, this is much needed medicines, worst decision, I ever made when I decided to use this company to get my medicine, I didn't know once you start using them, you're locked in for life…. Ridiculous
