I had booked my flight on my credit card only to find out that my payment had not gone through. So my card was declined. They called me automatically to let me know that this had happened and offered to put my flight on hold. Which was quite amazing. The service was impeccable. They helped me get to where I needed to go.
I haven't had a worse customer experience yet! I gave them the credit card to them and then tried to call them every day for 4 days! To get my airline confirmation number on each day they said wait everything is fine then on the last day they said the price was $500 more. After trying to speak to the manager (Arthur) who hung up on me, I booked the tickets for $400 over what exploretrip promissed directly for the airlines (delta) for the same flights!
I will never use them again and if you are not sure on using them i would advise not to
Airline changed flight and date also extended transit time 12 hours to 23 hours. Now I can't flight with this time with kids long transit. They are not offering my availability flights. Even they are not refunding full amount.
They offer a competitive internet price, but if you were to change anything, then they would charge an arm and a leg. For a date change on one leg of a $750.00 roundtrip ticket they charge $800.00 while the same itinerary is available on line for $819.00!
What is funny is that when I spoke to a supervisor, he admitted that he would not pay the $800.00 for the change :))
They don't refund anything for a non-refundable ticket, while the other agency for the same price and itinerary change, refunds at least the taxes.
I dont even know where to begin. They cancelled my flight and said it was moved two days earlier but never contacted me. The only way I found out my flight didnt exist was because i was checking the airline information. What ethical business doesnt contact you? The company's customer contact is the Worst. I was bombarded by this company with over 10 time emails and 5 times calls. I spent the worst time in 20 days. They are the perfect company to make your trip the worst.
If i could give 0 stars I would. Do not do business with this company! Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before I did try to buy a plane ticket. I needed a ticket to fly to Lisbon from the States. Booked online. Got an email with in minutes with a totally different flight itinerary. One with a 23 hour layover. Called within 30 minutes to cancel. No problem to cancel they said. And we can help you find another flight, the one you want is not available anymore. About $100 more, got another flight. Dan, the sales person "forgot" to cancel the first reservation. Now I have 2 tickets on the same day, different hours but for the same person. 2 charges on my credit card. I asked them to remove the first reservation. They cancelled both, and put them back on the next day. Refused to fix it. I called every day now, several times. No resolution. My credit card company has stopped all payments. HORRIBLE COMPANY!
I would give zero stars. Waste of your time trying to book from this site. They advertise a low price, when you try to book, it will prompt you to call customer service. They try to sell you tickets for a higher price. They are just fooling you.
Please don't spend any of you're money on this agency, they are a scam and they will not give you're money back if you try to get a refund. Please, please do not trust this agency. If you like getting robbed then there is something wrong with you.
I cancelled my ticket and they sent me an email that they will issue a refund. After several emails, they only kept escalating the refund process but never really refunded. If they dont give me the refund, I will contact the BBB and make sure that they are made to pay for the mental torture they have given me.

Cancelled my trips without any notice, did not have the amount of refund, never issued the refund. The amount that they were supposed to refund did not reflect the millage or expenses that I had to buy new tickets. Customer service could not connect with their supervisor, could not provide the phone number, email or work schedule of his supervisors. Customer service told me he will answer No to all my question, that he is removing his headsets and I can continue talking to myself! And I can assure you I am not a bla bla bla person, I am a person of few words!

Jessica & Princess was very professional and kindly helps resolve all issues created by flight cancellation by airline. Initially my flight was rebooked with almost 11 h layover to connecting flight. After numerous call to the trip Explorer and hours of the frustration, they did all they could and changed things around for just 2 h. Layover! Which I am very thankful for!. Jessica and Princess should be promoted as they did everything to satisfy customer needs! Thank you very much. Christopher
We booked online through SkyScanner. Beginning 1 hour later they called us 15x (even at 1am!) to try and convince us to book a different carrier. They never intended to book the original ticket. How is this not wire fraud?
You will lose your money. Customer service of this site is the worst. If you need to change or cancel your flight, this company will not do anything. Anything! Even if you send e-mails, they will never respond. If you call, you will not likely to reach to the operator, because they pick up the line and hang up immediately. I called for seven times and finally could talk to the operator. He said he will check and send me an e-mail, but I did not get any e-mails nor new e-tickets. I sent e-mails, but they did not reply. I called for additional five times, and he replied that he will check and send me an e-mail. I did not receive any e-mail again, and------, this repeats forever.
Exploretrip refunded my money within time they gave me, feeling bad with sinus infection i cancelled my trip they applied penalty charges for that and refunded my money back to my account in time... Thanks
These people are thieves, pure and simple. The messed with my order, trying to jack up the price. Then eventually they said, "Sorry, we couldn't book the flight for you." This was only 24 hrs before the scheduled flight!
Later, I discovered that they HAD charged my account despite having not issued the ticket. That, in my book, is thievery. I am trying in vain to recover the funds.
I should have read the reviews before booking with exploretrip.com Our trip to Miami from Va(for two people) through them on AA cost me $671.20 when it should have cost $356.08! I called AA to check on the price stated on the ticket to see if it was correct as it was so much less than I had been charged by explore.com and they assured me that it was and to call the agency to dispute their charge.
Of course they have refused to refund me the over charged amount.
I feel very angry and ripped off. I have learned to believe the reviews left by other people and never to book through them again.

I purchased airfare from ExploreTrip.com about two weeks ago. The purchase was for roundtrip airfare from Tampa to Zurich for $700. I thought the price was great since there is only one connection on the way there and then on non-stop flight on the way back. I was a little skeptical since the price seemed too good since the return flight was non-stop. I just called the airline directly and asked that they confirm my flights and they were able to repeat the flight details to me exactly. I expect everything to work out fine when I take the flights in a few months in November.
Don't book with them. Just book directly with the airline. They refused to charge the reservation on to a different credit card when I called just a few hours after the booking and said they will have to cancel it and re-book it and charge a $99 cancellation, even though it was within the 24 hours time frame.
You are much better off booking with the airline directly.
