The most horrific experience I've ever had with any customer service department. They promised to sort my ticket out numerous times and to call back with the correct flight info, yet they never called or emailed until I recorded their names and habitually asked to speak to a supervisor. In the end, after 7 days of calling and wasted time and long distance calls, they still did not get my ticket corrected. I had to come out of pocket to pay for the last leg of my trip. If you are planning to book with them,. DO NOT! They care nothing for the customer once you pay them. They will not help you in the least. I sent them 3 emails explaining the situation and they never responded. I say again, DO NOT BOOK WITH THE EVER!

Stay away

Do not book with this site. They have horrible customer service. I tried canceling a reservation in less than 30 minutes after booking it and haven't received a refund. Instead, they charged me a cancelation fee of $100 on top on my reservation of over $3,000. I've called over 4 times now and they said that my request was escalated to their manager and because they are the ones working on it, there is nothing that they can do.

Don't lose your time
August 21, 2017

Once booked i was waiting for confirmation, then they told me that they can't confirm my credit card details and i should call to the customer service. Just 20 minutes after i did the same reservation they told me that the price was increased so i decided to don't buy.

Philip was of great help. He did a great job helping with the flight reservation while the rest of them kind of made excuses and gave a plain "no" to any request. Philip ensured he stayed with me through out the call and called me back every time to update me on the status.

I tried to change my dates 2 months in advance and they wanted to charge me more that double the proce of the ticket extra for a week delay. I renounced.

On the day of my flight they confused the terminal, company AND time of my departure. Good thing I was very early and called them and with the information center at the airport i could find my way. They didn't help and were rude on the phone...

I will never book any ticket with them again

I had booked flights to India but had to cancel them. I was assured I would get the refund in 3-4 business days. Called them they told me i will be refunded in 10 business days. 10 days later no reply. Raised a dispute on my card. The card after 6 months say that explore trip cancelled the dispute. Called explore trip they said they lost the card details so could not refund it. Made me pay $100 more from a card and said they will refund the original amount and the $100 to that card. 3 years down still waiting. Wish I could file a formal complaint against them somewhere.

I saw a flight for a $100 on sky scanner and called them to book it. I was told it would be $200 because the available seating had gone down to 2. A couple hours later, i got an email saying the flight was never booked due to a billing error, OK. I went and booked flight directly with the airline and it was about $100 and there were atleast 20-30 seats still available when it gave me my option. Not cool Explore Trip. Not. Cool.

STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! Booked a flight from Canada to UK at 9am this morning Received confirmation, reservation code and itinerary. 5 hrs later received an e-mail to say airline canceled my flight as the seat was sold! I am on the phone to their manager "Patrick". THE worst customer service, I wanted to complain... I was told to call back tomorrow. Surely their is some ombudsman we can go to!

I have booked a flight to Japan, round trip for $400 through Explore Trip. They have been nothing but helpful and answer all email inquiries within the hour. I don't care what country they are from or what language they speak, their service is A+++ in my book, and with a BBB rating of A, you cannot go wrong.

I wish I could give it fewer stars.

I booked a ticket with them that had 2 stopovers. While booking such a ticket I was not issued any warning about visa requirements and it turned out I need a visa for the stopover even though it isn't an airport stopover in the same country.

When I asked them to change the booking to one stopover (which is only one leg of the return trip) they charged me $750, which is about the price of a full new ticket! And 70% of what I paid for the entire round fare!

This is unacceptable service and I will never advise anyone to use exploretrip again

My husband and I booked a nice Europe trip with my in laws back in the beginning of Jan. 2017. It is now the end of February and I still don't know if our trip is actually happening since Explore Trip can't give me a clear answer on whether our trip is confirmed or not. Their lack of customer service as well as lack of communication with their customers has lead me to NEVER USE OR FLY with them again. I will make sure that every review board has my comments. They are the worst and they have made this trip a stressful nightmare.

I found a price on the exploretrip website that was good for a trip I had coming up so I placed the order. I had to call them to correct a credit card issue, so I corrected it and hung up. The gentleman calls me back and says the price that I had was no longer available which was 275.99 but that the price is now over $700.00. I anticipated the price may go up a little but that's just extortion.

So I told him to cancel the order. I went to the airline's website and got the tickets for 281.00,

Bad to worse!

My flight was canceled but they never bothered to tell me - I only found out when googling it to see if meals were served and found out it didn't exist, called Exploretrip only to be told, "Oh, the flight is canceled". This was 40 hours before departure. They offered no help, no alternative flights, no support booking another - nothing. I ended up booking another flight myself which cost me an extra $250 USD and I lost a night at a hotel too.

One Giant Scam

This business is a compete Scam. I've spent 2 weeks trying to get them to rebook a ticket they canceled on me. It's unbelievable. The entire company is one call center in India, none of the employees have power to basic things like change flights or update tickets. They literally have no idea what's going on. Someone needs to shut this company down. HUGE SCAM

I booked a flight with the. They changed the schedule multiple times and when I contacted them that I cannot accept this change due to interference with my work. They said I would be fined 300 hundred dollars for cancellation. Being fined for a schedule change that is done by them!

“Relatively easy, and less time consuming”

Relatively easy, and less time consuming. Exploretrip was recommended by friends, and I was pretty satisfied with the results. I booked a flight for one of our employees for business and it was easy, it took me about 20 minutes to find the flights, book the flight and print the confirmation.

Big Scam

I called these guys to make a reservation. They did it and I got the confirmation email. Next day, I got the email saying it is cancelled. Now, I called them and they say the price went up and I had to spend extra 120 USD. Very bad experience. Please stay away from these people.

I called customer service asking for a full refund, they said they would only be able to give me 104 dollars out of the 900 I paid for the ticket. After a lot of debating, they told me they could only give 400 dollars back and that I had no time to decide because it was a one time deal and if I called the next day, the deal was off and I'd only get 104 dollars back. I ended up giving up to the pressure and getting the 400 dollars back, I'm extremely unsatisfied. I regret using this website, the worst decision I made.

Exploretrip.com an online travel agency is a liar, phony, inconsiderate and a sucker. It will eat your money to its heart's content. It is s disgrace to have this kind of travel agency on line. It refused to refund our airline tickets when our failure to show up at the airport was beyond our control. It does not consider an act of God like a typhoon a justifiable ground to reimburse our tickets. We missed our flight, domestic and international, because we were stranded for in Odiongan, Romblon, Philippines for three (3) days because of typhoon Usman. Next time you book your flight, don't ever, ever, ever think of booking with an online travel agency especially Exploretrip.com because it would be a nightmare and heartbreaking not to mention the fact that you no longer would be able to recover your money if you don't show up at the airport regardless of whatever reason you may have. God is not even an exception.Exploretrip.com is truly
A disgrace to an on line travel agencies.
