I Signed up in January 2020. Not a single email from them since. Charged me $69us today, and of course, I am surprised becuase nearly 4 months have passed with Zero communication.
I went to cancel, and there is no Online Cancellation. This is 100% illegal in any Country for an Online company to do.
They must have a clear way of
Cancel for a paying consumer.
I plan on filing complaints and disputing charges.
I could never post my resume due to continued technical problems, I immediately sought help by sending emails to no avail. I tried to cancel. The system kept locking up. I was allegedly able to cancel. I paid for one month of premium service that I was never allowed to use. They advertise in the US but there resources are allegedly in another country.
I got hooked into the free trial and then they renewed on me, my fault, but I emailed them the same day to cancel and they kept the money. I doubt they sent me more than 2 suitable jobs and they were all just rehashed from other websites like zip recruiter. This is a German web company masquerading as a global job platform that just re wraps other sites jobs. Don't waste your money.
This group asks way too much money for the membership while they offer very little in return. The filter search options are too general therefore the search can not be done for every desired job position. Also, the number of job offers is too poor. So, once you subscribe you are stuck. 99Euro on a 6 month base and there is no way out! Terrible!
I guess I should have researched more reviews before signing up for Experteer's premium membership. They didn't send credible positions and I found it was not useful or helpful at all. I have to assume that they make their money from membership fees. No warning email about renewal and they charged my credit card. I canceled my membership and asked for a refund and they said, "No, you need to cancel prior to the renewal." It was 12 hours after the renewal. Save your money and find a better site for your job search!
I subscribed for one month and then cancelled.
Cancellation is a bit hidden. I had to fill in a form why I wanted to cancel and then got a message ¨Sorry to see you go. ¨ and an email with the heading Cancellation of your premium account¨ However, they continued charging!
Trash website, completely useless. Most other sites are much better. Experteer has horrible search results, tries to hide stuff and make you pay, and generally seems like a slimy and horrible company. They need to go out of business immediately. Any other free job websites are 100x better.
Terrible! Never got name even close to the job I was seeking. I cancelled and they said they never received the cancellation and charged me for an extra month
This company must be a scam. I put a lot of time an effort into building my profile as they instructed - in 6 MONTHS I had zero emails, zero leads, zero useful links, zero communication at all. They offered me NOTHING. 0 stars would be more appropriate.
What a waste of money! I subscribed for a monthly fee but was charged over R3000 once off... so angry about this and the site is just terrible. So angry that I didn't research the site like I usually do, else I would have come across this site. I have emailed them them like a few days later to request a refund as most companies offer cancellation within 14 days but they don't. They just took the last funds from my account. They responded and and ignored my 2nd email.
Don't waste your money. I was told I had to pay to access a job application, I paid £29 for the privilege of clicking through to find it didn't exist.
After reading reviews & experiencing the same, I cancelled my membership and tried to contact them for a refund. I haven't heard anything. My membership is valid 'til March, but I would prefer a refund and close my account. Not at all what I expected.
Dear Lord. I have blocked and tried to unsubscribe to this site... I get 3 emails! A day! Please someone tell me how to unsubscribe. You can't turn the filters off... you still get the Newsletter. Really? Yes, really. Don't subscribe. And it's illegal not to be able to unsubscribe.
AVOID - same issue as other people: no communications until they cannot take repeat annual fee with threat of 'collections'.
Completely ineffective membership cancellation process. I have emailed them MY final notice before I log a GDPR compliant under right to be forgotten.
Skeleton service is basically a scam.
Dear Mrs. Jerez, thank you for your feedback but as your case may be different from our other candidate that posted the exact same review, we kindly ask you to sent us an email at: support@experteer.com and we will review your case properly.
Thank you.

This is a scam. I logged into the site during the covid layoffs to get help job hunting, and the site and service were a total waste. I could not cancel online and there were no payment reminders. After my second billing, I reached them via the generic customer service email and they refused to refund me even though I only logged in ONE TIME.
On paper it looks good the content
On paper it looks good the content looks good the opportunities look good when it comes to it it's actually really really bad. Furthermore, whilst in the small print when you sign up, they don't make this very obvious, they will auto renew your subscription without sending a reminder email, without advising you that your subscription is about to be renewed and they won't refund you.
Charlatans.
After signing up, I was very disappointed with the value offered on this site. I just learned that my subscription was renewed without notice and I was charged another 99Euro. Think twice and cancel quickly.

The company and service is a scam. They automatically add you to the yearly subscription and charge you for service. To make sure that they do not get in trouble, they are located in Europe and show you jobs in the United States.
Dear customer,
Thank you for your feedback.
On behalf of Experteer I would like to apologize if you had a bad experience with our service.
Experteer is of course not a scam. Experteer is a professional career service for executives. Each year we help thousands of candidates into new jobs - here a few examples:

I am sorry if you missed the information re. The prolongation of a Premium Membership. We do clearly state this when you sign up. It is easy to cancel a premium membership (in your account or by email to us), you can do this even 1 day before prolongation and we confirm every cancellation in writing within days. If you choose the monthly subscription you receive the monthly subscription, not the yearly. Please do contact us if you ordered a length you did no wish, maybe we can still change.
At Experteer you can find many jobs from the hidden headhunter job market, that are posted exclusively in our network and also many jobs from small companies, that can rarely be found on other job boards. These jobs are worldwide, not only in the US. Our job database is very up-to-date: Currently we provide over 300.000 job postings for senior-level executives with earnings of at least €60,000 / £45,000 / $100,000 per year. In order to offer you the best possible quality and up-to-dateness of these jobs, we replace approximately 8.000 jobs per day.

I wish i read all the reviews before I paid them any $$. My complaints are very much the same as all the other complaints mentioned on this site. I have been trying to cancel my subscription through their site and received an automated email from them. Followed all the instructions and they before they still trying to charge me and send me to collections. This site is a scam and they will only take your money and not help you and they will not give you a way out.
Dear Marsha,
Thank you for your comment. We confirm every cancellation request. If you did not receive a confirmation please contact us at support@experteer.com and we will find out what happened in your case.
Kind regards
Your Experteer Social Media Team
I am trying to cancel my premium membership. I have done this many times but it is not working. I am not getting the email from their website that tells me to confirm the cancellation. I have tried to cancel 4 times but I have not got the confirmation email. My email details are correct in their system.
So, my subscription will auto-renew the service now because cancellation is impossible. There is no way out. My money keeps going to them no matter what. I have written to their 'CEO', posted on their facebook and linked in pages and written to their 'customer support'. There is no response and they don't give a $#*! either.

Dear Mr. Jeremiah,
Not only have we answered your email but we have also cancelled your membership with us.
Kind regards,

Answer: Agree with B H. Total scam! No communication whatsoever, no value, terrible site but they do charge a hefty fee for their yearly premium which is almost impossible to cancel as you do not receive any confirmation of the cancellation. But hey ho, few days after the original subscription ended I started to receive demands for payment for another year even though the account was deleted! BEWARE!
Answer: I had a terrible experience with Experteer- no job leads, abhorrent customer service.
Experteer has a rating of 1 stars from 98 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Experteer most frequently mention credit card, customer service and auto renewal. Experteer ranks 323rd among Job Search sites.
