Parcel delivered at another address without asking for permission to do so. I lost 60 quid because of them.

Evri have lost my parcel. I have contacted the customer service the keep pushing asking me to wait for the next day or the next day came, no parcel and then it was going on for days. Still no parcel and it had over a week. I have paid for next day delivery. The customer service from Evri is really awful. Mostly automatic answers and a real customer service just not helpful enough.
I wouldn't use them again because a parcel always seem to be delay. I will just go with the Royal mail next time at least their customer service with Help to better with Lost parcel. This is unfortunately the worst I have experienced in using a courier. Evri are the worst thing one out of the lot.
And yes people say yes is cheap but cheap and not delivering the goods. No customer service no help then this is not cheap. I am very very disappointed.
So many separate issues these last few months. One driver leaves the item at a random address when I purchased the signature service. The buyer tries to contact their neighbor, but no one comes to the door.
This goes on for a while, and their reply is just to wash their hands because they couldn't make the driver go back to the address he wasn't supposed to deliver the item, collect the parcel, deliver and collect the signature from the buyer. They offered £25 refund for an it that cost £99.
Not to mention they took one month to deliver an item I sold, and told me the item was lost when I contacted them. After I refunded the buyer, they magically deliver the item, but I can't get the money back now, and they are making me waste my time going back and forth with them to get a £6 refund.
And don't bother purchasing their 'faster' delivery option. The last two times I purchased those labels, it took 8 days for an item to arrive, and the other one is still at their national hub, 3 days after it was collected from the ParcelShop. It's like they do it in spite, because you have to deliver the item in a specific time frame.
Evri is a desperate attempt to rebrand the appalling company previously known as Hermes. When you look at the history of Trustpilot, you will understand the need for rebranding.
The name may have changed, but this company's service standards remain at the lowest level possible for this industry. The company consistently fails to deliver and disappoints customers over and over again. When I see that a purchase is to be delivered by EVRI/HERMES my heart sinks... I must prepare myself for the lies and incompetence that inevitably follows. I live in a semi-rural location and it is impossible not to observe both deliveries and failed attempts to deliver. After waiting diligently for a delivery during the specified time frame... Nothing... no delivery and no attempt to deliver. Then halfway through this, the usual message is received: "Your local courier tried to deliver your Cotton Traders parcel today but you weren't in. There wasn't a safe place to leave your parcel so we'll try again and contact you on (date) with more information." of course this is a lie. There was no attempt to deliver and had there been an attempt, a "safe place" was evident in plain sight. This company does not deserve to be in business and hopefully, the retailers who persist with this appalling company may realise that EVRI/HERMES is a very good reason to shop elsewhere!
Returned a parcel, which they lost, the chatbot suggested I get a replacement delivery IT WAS A RETURN bloody useless.
My email query was ignored, I assume no one monitors their returns service in box.
Finally spoke to a useless customer service member who couldn't help me but would pass the query to another team who could, and would email me within 48 hours.
All they did was delete all the tracking numbers for my return, so they can now claim no knowledge of it and not refund me.
FCUKING USELESS CNUTS.
An Evri employee stole my parcel valued at £640. Despite having bought compensation Packlink say they will only give me £25 compensation despite having placedc my package with Evri. My advice - NEVER EVER USE EVRI.
Probably as a result of the Covid years, my family has eased into the convenience of online shopping.
Obviously, many companies offer different levels of service: some offer really quick dispatch times with excellent delivery drivers, others seem to generate problematic issues with delivery and returns.
Evri, in my experience and opinion, is really, really, really, really poor in its' approach to delivery.
We began to have parcels being just "left on the doorstep". This might be a spin-off from the Covid years, (where person-to-person contact was avoided), but it's simply not acceptable now.
This became so much of a problem, that I actually have a sign on my door instructing Evri to either knock the door/ring the bell. If no answer, leave with my neighbour at 45. If no answer please leave details of re-scheduled delivery, but DO NOT leave it unattended on the doorstep.
Consistently, parcels are still left on the doorstep.
I don't know if Evri employ too much foreign labour where understanding English is not high on their list of priorities. I don't know if each individual delivery driver just wants to get the parcel dropped, so they have absolutely no duty of care towards doing their job correctly.
What I do know is that many of the companies that use Evri are paying an additional (small) fee for a SIGNATURE.
Handing a parcel to the recipient, or posting the parcel through the recipients letterbox is a successful delivery - leaving the item on the doorstep for theft or susceptibility to foul weather IS NOT.
The reason for this review, is that my daughter recently ordered a collectible book, which the company sent via Evri.
We arrived home to find a small bundle of soaking wet mush on the doorstep, with the parcel being out all day in a rainstorm.
We are now asking companies NOT to dispatch our parcels via Evri and, if they, do we will shop elsewhere.
As usual delays galore. Allegedly they tried to deliver a parcel before the retailer had despatched it lol. 3 days later and no sign of it

Absolutely appalling company. They have lost so many parcels it's beyond a joke. Avoid unless you want your items stolen or lost.
Changing the name makes no difference, still the same lies. Shocking company. Why big brands ship with you is beyond me.
Non-existent customer service haven't reply to emails chat support and there is no phone number to ring that's normal cost
One star is TWO too many. They tried to deliver my parcel (ONE day late), I wasn't home when they tried the following day (I had been home but had to go out for just over 2hrs, that is when an attempted delivery was made), supposed to deliver the next working day, they didn't, in fact they DIDN'T BOTHER AT ALL EVER AGAIN! They just sent it back! They ever respond. AMATURE SCUM
Never deliver on time I don't know how they're still in business and why some companies still trust them
Delivery proof was a picture of my door. No parcel in sight. Payed extra for earlier delivery. Nobody ramg the doorbell or even left a card.
No customer service would strongly recommend never to use them. Lost 5 parcel can't talk to anyone just a robot saying get a refund...what joke...
I pay extra for a next day but arrive after one week! I hope this company close down! This is $#*! service

Told me to contact the supplier rather than provide any adequate explanation as to why or how the parcel was lost.
Answer: Never had a good experience of this company, so sorry I can't. Its all negative stories I've got just now.
Answer: Nothing would induce me to use Evri for anything. Their quality of service is incredibly poor and needs to be dramatically improved before I would even begin to consider using them.
