Unable to talk to a real person to resolve complaint I have tried complaining via EVRI automated robot and the only response I get is generic and has nothing to do with my complaint - someone apparently a real person emailed me with the same generic response that implies it's the sellers and my problem to resolve not theirs - My complaint was that when a parcel was delivered it was for some unknown reason placed in my Dustbin unfortunately it was also Dustbin collection day and was emptied prior to me returning home - surely it's common sense that a Dustbin is not a safe or appropriate place to put a parcel - absolute terrible service
If call this company a fraud this would be an insult to frauds.
Disgusting, un reliable, not even worth writing a review. Just don't use this company.

One star is even too good for this service! Parcels are never delivered on the day they say they are 'out for delivery'. Cannot speak to a human on the phone, always a robot and cannot get the right answers on the online chat! I WANT TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN!
I HAVE PAID DELIVERY CHARGE FOR THIS!
I was expecting four consignments from different companies, the 'tracking' on its website was not updated for three weeks, but I eventually learned with great difficulty that EVRi had lost ALL of the four packages. I received no apology from EVRi even after I went through the (excellent) consumer complaint website resolver.co.uk. I then had to go to the trouble of getting four refunds.
It's virtually impossible to speak to a human, and the 'digital assistant' on the website is useless and pointless. Incredibly, EVRi quite deliberately offers NO customer service contact details for consumers (buyers/receivers of parcels) on its website, the phone number that can be found by an online search is only for those SENDING parcels!
In future, when ordering online I will check whether the seller uses this appalling company before I place an order. As other reviewers say, 'you get what you pay for', and although EVRi may be the cheapest option, it will lose companies customers in the long run.

I bought a pair of Nike trainers from JD Sports online. A day later Evri sent me an email explaining that they'd my order from JD and that they'd arrange to deliver it. A day later they sent me another email letting me know that the order was on its way and provided a tracking number. About 4 days later I had neither received nor heard nothing from them. I tried to track the order online but couldn't get any results. I then tried to call their customer service but Jesus Christ you'll only "talk" to a machine which will request for your tracking number and what I heard next was that my tracking number wasn't right. And guess what it said next? " Thanks for calling Evri. Goodbye". Nothing like referring me to a real human who could have genuinely looked into the issue and tried to help. Never.
I then contacted JD Sports who upon investigating the matter told me that the order got lost in transit. I then preferred that they sent me a replacement order rather than a refund. That's the mistake I did as exactly what happened to the first order did happen again with the replacement order and with the same Evri. Right now I've just opted for a refund.
I feel that there's a scam going on at Evri. Surely their staff are stealing orders meant for customers who, in these days of high cost of living, are sacrificing a lot to buy some luxury stuff yet some people are ending up stealing them. Evri is a big disappointment
The worst company I've ever had to deal with, problems have been going on 2 months if not longer in our area, sellers via ebay and amazon really should be alerted somehow
Unfortunately now had three orders go completely missing with no attempt of delivery. I really wish companies would stop using this totally useless company for their deliveries.
What an awfull experience I'm having with evri (HERMES) unable to make a payment on the app really frustrating because there is no one to speak to only a bot. You follow the instructions only to be asked for a tracking number? I CAN NOT MAKE A PAYMENT TO SEND A PARCEL THERE FOR I DONT HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER THIS IS THE PROBLEM?! Such a small issue could be resolved in minutes if only you could speak to someone.
Our parcel arrived at around 7.30pm, the delivery driver kept his finger on the door bell, my dogs barked, I am not steady on my feet and was upstairs at the time, I opened my window to check who was there to be met with an unknown person who had opened my gas meter box, I asked him what he was doing and he rudely shouted at me that he was delivering a parcel, I asked him to close the box and that I was on my way.
When I arrived at the door, I asked him if he had locked the gas box again and he again very rudely snapped ' yes! I want to get home tonight' and stormed of throwing his arm in the air as if to flip me off.
The whole experience left me very shaken and upset to the point that I was in tears.
I suffer from health issues and got to the door as quickly as I could, I was on my own at the time and only answer the door when I know/ check who is there,
I have never asked for deliveries to be placed in my gas box, and never would, the gentleman was very rude and seemed very agitated.
Surely this can't be the right way to treat customers, I'm very disappointed and this has left me very nervous about deliveries from this company in the future if I'm here on my own.

This company are a bunch of thieves I got a pic and msg that item was delivered last week the pic was NOT of my property and some random person on street just told me he found my item on the floor all opend up and on the floor DISGUSTING service bunch of liars do NOT use this company
Evri are just as awful as MyHermes.
I sent a parcel through Evri and not only did the box arrive damaged with a hole in the box but the items inside were also damaged.
I contacted Evri straightaway and within 24 hours I had a response to apologise and offer a claim form to submit to try and get my money back.
The form couple not be opened and after many emails over a week asking for a new form. I got no reply. I called the helpline and could not get through to anyone. Apparently the tracking/parcel number did not exist.
It wasn't until I contacted the CEO that I got a reply. After that it was like getting blood from a stone for a response. It's taken over a month and Evri have refunded my delivery cost including the extra cover I paid for 'damages and loss of items'. However, they have declined reimbursing me for the damaged items. The reason for this was because it is classed as a non-compensatory item.
Despite the item being listed under that list, there was clear negligence from the photos I submitted.
They are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as stated to me but Citizens Advice and Trading Standards. I would not ever recommend this company for delivery as items often go missing or get damaged anyway.
I was meant to get my parcel not too long ago I stayed at home the behold day waiting for it to come but then they contacted me saying no one was at home when they tried to deliver the parcel but I was at home the whole time waiting for it then they said if you aren't home I should either have to options leave it in my shed at my house or give it to my neighbours I chose both of the options then when I came home they said no one was at home again but this time I was at school but the delivery didn't put it in my shed or give it to my neighbours like I put it in the app
Please do not use this company. Although I recieved a confirmation email stating they had my parcels they soon went "missing".

Honestly, I'm defeated. How are they even allowed to trade! I was expecting a delivery on the 18/10/23. I get a message saying it is delayed due to the unexpected size? It's well within the guide and it was recorded as such so I don't know how it is unexpected! I get a message on the 19th to say it will be delivered by a special courier. A few hours later it's sorry, will be delivered on the 20th. The next day at lunch time another message. Sorry, it will be late this evening. That's followed at tea time by a message to say they attempted delivery but no answer. The picture shows a house at the top of our road, not my place! Get told it will be delivered on the 21st at lunch time. Nope. Another message to say tea time. Nope. Another message to say between 8-9 pm. Guess what? Nope. As of writing I have no idea where it is. You try contacting them and all you get is that awful chat-bot thing that gives a standard, not a clue answer. Try phoning and it tells you to contact the chat-bot! I know you can't swear in these revues, but you can guess the words I'm using to describe them out load at the moment!
They need to be investigated and fined, simple.

Answer: Nothing would induce me to use Evri for anything. Their quality of service is incredibly poor and needs to be dramatically improved before I would even begin to consider using them.
