Disappointed
December 11, 2021

I tried to place an order on-line that didn't go through. After pay took $21.00 out and canceled my order. Customer service refused to honor cyber Mon. Price on reorder. Thought it was rude. Still waiting on my return payment refund. Bad experience.

In three days, it will be a month since I made a purchase from Everlane and my 2 jeans still haven't been delivered to my home in Australia. The tracking info isn't being updated and for almost 2 weeks has stayed the same. My husband purchased perfume from New York last week and it arrived yesterday. I tried calling. I tried texting. I'm apparently on waitlist since they have large volume of inquiries. Unless the jeans take my breath away, I will think twice ordering from Everlane. The least they could have done was provide best tracking system. Is that too much to ask for $245 dollar jeans (2 pair)? Another annoyance was they asked for my email and promised to send 10% coupon. Nothing arrived in my email and I even checked spam. So I signed up again, thinking it was me... still nothing. I'm disappointed in Everlane!

I purchased two of the Everlane leather market totes and after less than a year of use, the straps on both have split and broken. I contacted Customer Service to express my disappointment, and they offered no acceptable solution. The bags are stylish, but the quality is not good. I would not buy from this company again - partially for the quality but mostly due to their abysmal customer service. I hope with this review it saves other customers from the same disappointment

While browsing at their website I tried to checkout the sale section but everytime I click on a piece of clothing it would take me straight to the reviews. It's kind of a disappointment because they are charging so much for their clothes but can't have a property working website

Great Quality
May 11, 2021

I bought the Everlane cheeky jeans because it's so hard to find 100% denim. I'm so sick of the thin stretchy pants that have come to pass for jeans. The Everlane jeans took about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to arrive (not really that bad in Covid times where shipping is really a problem). They arrived and were great right out of the box. Much higher quality than I've seen in jeans in a long time. A fair price for the good quality. I bought the original cheeky ankle jeans which are supposed to be straight fit in a size 34. I fit the size 18/34 according to their size chart and an 18 is my normal size. The legs are a little loose (I never have extra room in the thigh - but these I do - not too much, but not clingy) and at the lower leg i really wanted a narrower bottom, but not looking for the stretch clingy fit. The hip fit perfectly and the waist was slightly loose. They were "ankle" and they come exactly to my mid ankle (26"). I would have preferred them about an inch shorter or an inch longer as they really just look like pants that are just barely long enough, but don't have any aspect of looking like a cropped pant. After wearing for the day, they definitely loosened up and got a little loose in the hip/seat. I wonder if I could fit a 33 instead, but not sure about the hip/thigh as the garment measurement would be about 2 1/2 inches smaller at the thigh and 2 inches smaller at the hip - so out of the box they may be a bit too tight, but I think after the stretch that natural 100% cotton denim gives they would have been perfect. The picture attached still has tags attached and was right out of the box before any stretch occurred.

I never received my order from Everlane - not their fault, but their customer service sorting out the issue was a huge problem. Nobody responds to the emailed contact form on the website. I got through immediately on FB messenger (why do I have to go through FB?) and the rep told me to wait three days to REALLY make sure the package showed up. This is after I had already waited three days to contact customer service because their website advised it, just in case a package was marked delivered prematurely. So now it's almost two weeks since the package was marked delivered, and Everlane is silent on FB, email, and IG. I will never order again since there is no way to get in touch. How can you offer online orders without any reliable contact?

Never received item
January 12, 2021

I have no idea what the clothes are like because they never delivered them. They simply took my money and went dark. You cannot speak to a human being. Customer customer service rates a zero.

Good quality items
December 15, 2020

On Everlane's website you can see exact measurements and what the clothes are made of, which is great. In my case, the coat I got is 100% cotton & water resistant. You can also change the measurement unit from inches to cm if you live outside the US, and it looks like they offer their clothes from size 00 to 16. The online reviews also give you a better understanding of products. It's true that my specific coat fits true to size, and I wanted mine to be oversized which is why I got it in one size bigger.

You can also choose to view the factory in which the products were made, to see the whole process of how the clothes are made, how many employers said company has, and when it was created. You can read about their recent projects and see photos of the workers and the factory.

The shopping experience in itself was very effortless. If you sign up for an account, you can save products and check out effortlessly. The check out process is very easy too, and it seems that anything priced at $100 or over includes free shipping. Size exchanges and returns should be easy to do. I had ordered something before this coat and it was cancelled soon after because they had ran out of stock for that item when I purchased it. I got refunded almost immediately, so it personally wasn't a problem for me.

Overall, the coat feels really high quality and I feel good about my purhcase, so I give Everlane a 4/5. I love Everlane's selection of classic pieces that should last you for a very long time. The pricing also feels good, since we know how these clothes are made. The shipping was also fast, the package shipped to me within a few days of the purchase.
The only things I'd mention is that there is some size inconsistency and not all of their products are eco-friendly. I would recommend always checking the measurements first, as some items run bigger than others. They do have some items that include leather, so keep that in mind if you wish to shop more ethical. I think I'll be shopping from Everlane again.

Ridiculous shipping times
November 18, 2020

I wish I had read the reviews online rather than just on their website before I placed an order.
It has now been a full month since I placed an order with Everlane, and still no trace of my parcel ('en route' every day for a month). This is absolutely insane. With clothing I am pretty forgiving and will return and repurchase items if I realize I chose the wrong size, but I am fully over it at this point. If these jeans don't fit on top of the insane wait, I will just cut my losses and never place another order.

Not customer-friendly
October 13, 2020

I ordered a cashmere sweater from Everlane around two to three months ago. I received a confirmation email, and another email stating that my shipment date was near. I gave it fourteen days, then sent an email to their customer service asking for the approximate shipment date. They don't respond to that, so I wait yet another week and dig through all their social medias to find a more effective way to get in contact with them.

This is how i discover their instagram account.

There were scores of angry customers in the comment sections claiming that they've been waiting a week, a month, even up to as much as six months for their inquiries to be answered/orders to be shipped out.

Worried, i send them a message through their instagram DMs and post a comment underneath their latest photo. They answer my comment immediately and ask for my order number, despite me already sending them all the details through their DM. Not long after, their customer service reached out and promised they'd have my order shipped within the week.

One full week later, i check my emails and realize that i received an email from everlane. It's a 'cancelled order' email. At this point, i'm almost furious. I'm rarely angry when it comes to shopping online. I don't do it often, but i do run into problems every now and then when an order gets lost in transit or unfulfilled. Even then, i'm not mad. I suspect the reason for that is due to the fact that their customer service department is complete crap; meaning that the people in upper management are terrible at their jobs. Instead of getting rid of workers who wanted to unionize, i suspect that the company may have done better overall if they'd just fire the supervisors and managers in charge of order fulfillment and customer service.

As a whole, i don't recommend this brand. Even their GoodOnYou score is 2/5 - "not good enough."

Bad product and service
September 17, 2020

Ordered 5 mouthmasks. Took them 2 months to deliver. Mask are far to small for a "fit for all size". It's shapeless, dies not fit your mouth and nose well. Looks if a self fabricated piece out of underwear. Everlane does NOT take returns!

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Ordered over a month ago (24 July 20) and still haven't received my order. Shipped 10 days after the already delayed shipping date. Customer service eventually responded and all they do is apologise. Who knows when it will arrive in Australia as currently languishing in the USA. Who knows what the product will be like but really don't care anymore. First and last time I will buy off Everlane.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I bought a pair of Day Glove shoes as a gift for my wife. They appeared to be of very good quality, but were slightly too large. I returned them in person in Tulsa, OK using Happy Returns. I was told that I would have a store credit "by the time I reached the exit." That was almost five weeks ago. Everlane has ignored six emails. I have contested the charge with PayPal. According to PayPal, Everlane claims that a credit was issued, but it has not been. Everlane continues to fraudulently claim that they have issued a credit when they have not. There is no means to contact a human representative. If you attempt to call a store, there is a recorded message telling you to email, and you will receive a response within twenty four hours. It doesn't happen. Their quality is reputed to be very good. I can't confirm that, because the have both my money and my wife's shoes.

I've had cognitive dissonance with Everlane for a while. I'm finally done drinking the cool aid. I know 100% cotton shrinks. And Everlane's ordinary t shirts shrink less and wear out nice and soft. But their recycled cotton (though I love how it feels vintage) SHRINKS. I am 5'10", 140 lbs, a women's size 4 or 6, and I have been buying LARGE. That is ridiculous! I bought the men's air tee for an oversized one, XL which is their largest, and it is barely oversized. And definitely short. Like a men's crop top. If you want your everlane clothes to stay their current size, do NOT tumble dry even low, and better hope you're a petite human if you want to buy everlane to begin with. What are they thinking? The photo I attached is of a model wearing "small," but in real life it's how the L looks on a woman who is a size 4/6.

Although I do still like their seamless underwear which isn't flimsy and doesn't ride up, and is lasting well, and their leather slide sandals are so comfortable, I've worn them every day since I bought them. I'll give them that.

They don't invite me to write reviews for products I've purchased so... maybe they know it's been a mixed bag. Not very transparent if you ask me.

Products fine, it's their customer service that is abysmal, and it looks as if it's part of their operational strategy. They just don't care about your problem, and they don't provide a mechanism to fix it. Buy Everlane products at your own risk.
