Escrow.com garners mixed feedback from customers, highlighting both commendable service and significant concerns. Positive experiences often emphasize the professionalism and helpfulness of customer support, particularly during complex transactions, which many users found reassuring. However, a recurring theme in negative reviews points to frustrating delays in fund transfers and a lack of transparency regarding fees and processes. Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of refunds and the perceived incompetence in managing transactions. Overall, while some users appreciate the service for its protective measures, others warn of potential complications and inefficiencies.

Kana was knowledgeable, professional, kind, with a great attitude. He had a positive demeanor and explained how their business model worked and assisted me in finding my way to resolve my business issues! You rock Kana! Thank you for your valuable information!
I still haven't been paid by the buyer. I've called Escrow twice and the problem still isn't resolved.
I had a problem transaction because the funding of the transaction had delays and a driver was scheduled for pickup. I called CS multiple times to clarify things and to get things moving. Terri went above and beyond and helped sort everything out, calling me back promptly with updates. 10/10
Overall the process was very good. There are live people you can talk to with questions that guided me through the process. The website's form would only work through google chrome which took extra time but that was the only hicup.
The sistem escrow have is unic.
Why?, because is the perfect mix between technology and humanity. Like you'd sistem and the way to move it. And the personal touch online and the phone. If u do t care about your bussiness and help cust. That's pride. If you don't feel that. Go to work to sh**** pages like e**y. Just like that.
My review is for the support I received in completing a transaction. My registrar showed my domain as having transferred, so I had no more control over the URL, but I didn't see any change in the Escrow.com listing. It made me nervous. I contacted Support and got exceptional guidance, INCLUDING a call by the Escrow.com person to the Buyer with a request to accept the transaction (which he did), and then a call TO ME to notify me that the Buyer had accepted the transaction and that the transfer of funds was underway. Those calls on my behalf were above and beyond what I expected. The peace of mind it gave me regarding the status of the transaction was a wonderful gift. I'd had a couple of problems with previous bids that were accepted by Escrow.com and then the Buyers flaked and didn't follow through, which meant that GoDaddy Auctions took the URL out of circulation for a month or longer each time. The help I got today from the person on Escrow.com's Support desk rehabilitated their brand for me. They are fortunate to have that person on their team.
I made a mistake signing up for an account on Escrow.com and knew it immediately but couldn't quite figure out how to fix it. I called the customer service line and Kana walked me through the very simple process without making me feel like an idiot. I'm grateful.
Used Escrow.com to purchase a car. Paid extra for the lien holder service. Not worth the time or money to bother using this service as it's easier just to walk into the Lienholder's bank and do business. They did not guarantee or handle the title and the seller had to ship it to me anyway. So I received 0 utility for the fee. After the transcation they refused to assist and I was on my own to deal with the lienholder.
Thank you for answering my questions about the transaction process for Escrow.com. It was my first time using it. I hope to complete my sale in a few days with good results for the buyer and seller.
Every contact with Escrow.com was useful. I'm very confident in the companies ability to complete their mission.
I agreed to purchase a domain name with a seller who lived in Pakistan. Seller wanted to go through Escrow and started a transaction through Escrow.com. He had a verified account with Escrow.com. I got an email from Escrow.com and I registered and verified my identity. I got an email asking me to submit the funds required for the purchase. I made the payment. This took about 2 to 3 days.
Later Escrow.com informed the seller that they can not send payment to a bank in Pakistan. WTF! So you have to have an account in another country to receive payment. Seller requested to cancel the transaction.
Now I (buyer) am waiting to get the refund and it has been over 5 days and still waiting to get refund.
I would stay away from Escrow.com
Ron was very helpful and patient and in great spirits. He is very knowledgeable and walked me through the transaction process while on the phone and made us laugh.
I have been using Escrow.com for roughly 18 years now with no issues. They have great customer service. Highly recommend.
A week after instituting a funds transfer, and 6 days after the funds leaving my account, still waiting on these slow pokes to release the funds to an eBay seller. They are SLOW about everything except collecting their non-refundable service charges. Find any other way to do business on EBay.
I have started an escrow transaction at escrow.com after doing my research on options. This is a domain name transfer and being all over the internet it is more complex than most. I saw that California only authorizes 2 internet escrow companies, one of which is escrow.com so I felt more secure. So far so good.
Exceeding expectations. The customer service representative helped resolve a status to complete our transaction. Not only did she answer my questions but she followed through with making a call to the buyer, back to myself, and one final call to the buyer. The matter was resolved within an hour.
Professional and very courteous. Minimal wait time. Very understanding and attentive to my needs and requests.
Thank you
Kana once again helped me out and answered my questions regarding my purchase of 56 Chevy. Highly recommend Escrow.com and Kana.
Spoke with Ron. He worked with me to work out a solution to my fincial problem. It was great being able to get on the phone and have my concern dealt with dealt with promptly.
Answer: Hi David, we've processed just over $3 billion in transactions to date, with transactions from $100 all the way up to over $10,000,000. In addition to our regular licensing requirements, I hope you'll take a moment to look at the customer testimonials on www.escrow.com
Answer: Hi Janine! Thanks for reaching out! As the largest online licensed and audited escrow operator, Escrow.com is your best choice for domain transfer transactions. Escrow.com safely holds or secures the Buyer's payment in a trust account until the entire transaction is complete. That way, Buyers can be confident that the domain will be registered in their name and Sellers can be sure they'll be paid. We also have the concierge service for domain transfers without content where the Seller needs not to wait for the Buyer to confirm receipt and full control of the domain as Escrow.com will essentially take care of that inspection in your behalf. The Seller will only need to transfer the domain to one of our secured registrar accounts and we can release the funds to them. On the Buyer's side, they don't need the inspect period to verify the domain because we will do that for them. Our concierge team will work directly with the Seller to transfer the domain to us so there's no need for the Buyer to stress with follow-ups about the domain transfer. As soon as we secure the payment, the Buyer only needs to advise us where they want the domain to be transferred to and we will take care of the rest. Our dedicated concierge specialists will assist you every step of the way. Feel free to leave your contact details and best time to call as we are happy to discuss with you further should you have other questions. Thanks!
Answer: Hi Milly, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly but Escrow.com only displays bank information on our site and never via email. Check to make sure any emails you are receiving came from@escrow.com.
Answer: Hi Doug, start by making an offer to the seller through the AutoTrader.ca's Secure Payment platform. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from an@escrow.com email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account. Hope this helps!
