Escrow is a incompetent company. I'll never use them again. They closed my transaction on 12 March 2024 but 1 week later I still didn't get the funds.
When I asked their customer support. They told me that I and buyer need to complete the process. While I completed the process 1 week earlier and escrow closed the transaction

I've never bought or sold a domain before, so after making an informal deal with someone, I started to research escrow services. While many exist, Escrow.com, is one that kept coming up and always in a positive light. I decided to pay extra for their concierge service, since I was unfamiliar with how the whole process worked. I'm beyond happy that I did because the acquisition process required numerous steps (sending official letters, contacting registrars, etc) and they handled all of it. The support staff, Jo especially, were extremely patient and helpful, guiding me through the entire process. If I ever need to use an escrow service again, I won't hesitate to use Escrow.com again!

Amazing service+++

First time using Escrow.com and was having issues verifying account and understanding how to setup payments. Team was amazing all the times I called into customer support. Very short or no wait times. Worked with Diana V today a couple times and she helped her everything resolved and walked me through everything on the phone until everything was complete. Love you guys and will definitely continue to use and recommend in future.

I found Escrow.com while looking for some added protection in purchasing a vehicle with a lien against it, and I'm glad I went with them! They have moved everything along very quickly, and one of their customer service agents (named Kana) kept me in the loop during the whole process. I will absolutely use them next time I need to make a major purchase or sale - they keep both the buyer and seller protected, and their team takes the time to answer all of your questions.

Customer support during the middle of an escrow transaction was top, Neil Q was able to help me fix problems I intimately was responsible for with grace. He followed through with a prompt return call and... United Airlines need more guys like this in their call center(s)...

Why would anyone use a web hosting service to buy a domain and pay 15-20% commission? Escrow makes the transaction easy, safe and extremely affordable.

Exceptional experience
August 23, 2017

I recently have completed a domain name holding transaction with Escrow and had a seamless experience that was handled in a very professional manner. Brian and Lee were both fabulous and very patient at helping me every step of the way. They are an asset to the team. If you are doing any type of deal, whether it's large or small, would highly recommend Escrow.

With your overall process, we need a little more details about how everything works and how long it takes 'coz I did not receive a call that you needed some documentation which we should have provided right away.

Escrow.com attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

My business trades high end timepieces with connoisseurs of fine watches. I was trying to sell a $11k+ Rolex online to a new client. Client really wanted the watch but was getting cold feet and was thinking about backing out of the deal altogether. Escrow dot com to the rescue! The services you offer put my buyers mind at ease and we completed the deal. I think it would have fallen through without Escrow. Also, the support staff were amazing. Both my buyer and I made some errors setting up our accounts and support sorted it out quickly. "Ron" was especially helpful to me and deserves a shout out. I've already shared my positive experience with several of my business colleagues.

I sold a domain name for around $1500 using Escrow.com's concierge service, for an extra $100 fee. Several times Escrow.com suggested how to deal with misleading or incomplete info from my domain registrar, and they issued many helpful frequent status emails regarding the domain transfer process. Make sure you follow instructions well and make sure your name, phone number and email match where important. Once I established the initial authorization to transfer my domain, Escrow.com did all the transfer details, and promptly issued me my ACH payment. Both buyer and seller both need to be motivated and attentive in order to deal with their part of the work. The people at Escrow.com were competent, prompt, helpful, professional and pleasant. I feel this went very well... Thanks.

The whole escrow thing in the "real world" is more complicated than most people think. While this service does cause a few calories to get burned, it's WAY less painful than doing it any other way... not to mention, cost effective. All the legal steps were embedded into the process and the people behind the scene understood what they were doing. As the buyer, I felt represented properly, but could also get a sense of how they were protecting the seller. As it should be. I will certainly use the service again when I have the need for a third party protected transaction of any kind. In this case, I used to pay for a domain name purchase from an unknown seller, and it was awesome.

I was concerned because I received a notice that a substantial escrow had been completed but payment was not yet received. Kana carefully verified my identity and phone number before fully answering my questions about the transaction and assuring me the money was on the way after a standard delay of a few business days. It might be helpful to avoid such calls if a fund delivery date could be included in the closing confirmation email.

Alex was very kind, patient and helpful answering my all questions. Escrow payment gateway is much more secure than anything I have ever used and would recommend to my people but I would appreciate if the charges levied by them would go a bit lower.

A 25k Transaction

I wish to say how grateful I am for Escrow.com's fantastic transaction system-- for it's clarity, security, professionalism, and responsiveness. Everything on the website is so well outlined with step by step instructions and feedback. The two time line columns are of great help (meaning the Status and History columns). I wish I could remember all of their names who helped me as the customer support was stellar, especially Kana I think it was, who provided assurance and personal follow up on seeing my transaction through to completion.

Brilliant service, very straightforward and easy instructions by team.
To the point understandable communication - I am not a big web guy so transferring a domain was new to me.

Safe way to transact

In buying a domain, I was concerned about managing the financial aspect and making sure we got what we expected, especially since we were buying from someone overseas. There were some minor hiccups (didn't know that the Concierge-level service would not be available over the weekend, and that wires were required above a certain amount). But overall, it made the transaction feel more secure, and smoothed out what might have been a bumpy exchange.

I have used Escrow.com several times over the past few years for domain name sales and purchases. Their customer service has always been good, but Jenny really hit the ball out of the park. She helped me with my initial question and solved it while on the first call. She then called me back with an update, too. That is great customer service and that is why I will continue to use Escrow.com... Also, Jenny deserves a bonus, too...:-)
