Everything about dealing with this site has been problematic. Instead of working to produce a smooth transaction, they do all that they can to destroy relations between buyers and sellers. Their support staff finally admitted that they are located in Argentina, not the US - and they will not let you speak with the incompetents charged with verifying the ID of the parties to the transaction wherever in the world they might be. This site is expensive, disruptive, and customer hostile. Their offshore support increases the risk of identity abuse. My opinion... Stay away!

I just completed the rare sale of a two character dot com domain through escrow.com. I have had people try to scam me on offers for this domain in the past, so I was very wary. An escrow.com executive wrote a special contract to handle the transaction in the way I felt most secure with. He personally handled taking possession of the domain, and the wire transfer of my funds was processed within ten minutes. By the time I could log onto my online banking account, the balance had the wire transfer already showing.

I had never done business with escrow.com before, this was a high dollar transaction, and there is no question that I was concerned about a process that would be absolutely safe for me. They cooperated in every way to give me that confidence, and helped me complete a rare dream sale.

I give them my highest recommendation.

I used escrow.com for a purchase of a boat sight-unseen. It was an extremely effective tool for managing the sale process. The fees were in-line with other methods of direct payment and they added a level of security and integration with PayPal. In addition, when I needed to make sure my payment was posted quickly, their customer service rep, Louie, went out of his way to make sure it was done. Overall a very positive experience.

Have used escrow.com a number of times for domain name sales and their support is always exceptional (Jay is always extremely responsive) and the process is always incredibly smooth. Just finished another transaction with them and it got done in just a few days. Will continue to use going forward!

I sold a domain and fortunately the buyer chose to use escrow.com's concierge service. What should have been a simple transfer got complicated. My domain was at register.com and their support was really useless. I was really lucky that Angela was assigned to handle this. She went above and beyond to get this resolved, even getting the Register.com people on the line with me. She was very knowledgeable, responsive and got this done. Highly recommend requesting her if you use escrow.com.

I recently sold a domain name using escrow.com's concierge service. The seller wired payment to escrow.com and I transferred the domain to them directly. Within a matter of minutes the transaction was completed and escrow.com wired the funds to me. I imagined the process would be long and tedious but the entire transaction was completed in less than 48 hours. The concierge team went above and beyond as well. Even after business hours they contact both myself and the buyer and walked us through the process painlessly. I can't imagine a transaction of such a high ticket item going more smoothly. Thank goodness for Angela. We finally have someone who who keeps you informed as to the progress of your transaction. I got an email from Angela 3 times. Twice letting me know about progress of the transfer of the domain and and once how the payment to me would be handled. Saved me from having to call Escrow. In the past, every time you called about the progress of the transaction it would take Escrow a day to respond to every question. Again! Thank goodness for Angela who understands what "Concierge" service means.
