Hello Ray, Wile Escrow.com does have many customers located in China, it is not owned or backed by a Chinese company. Escrow.com is owned by an Australian company, Freelancer.com. The acquisition has been announced to the public. Thank you,

Question:

Answer:

Hi Bill, Escrow.com does one thing, and does it very well. That being said most people who have a transaction go smoothly don't have a reason to go and write a review, so as a result you tend to see just the polar opposites of opinions on sites like SiteJabber. If you would like to find out about how our service works for your particular transaction, give us a call and we'll be happy to walk through it with you. Cheers, Jackson

Question:

As a seller, can i have the funds released before the vehicle is picked up?

Answer:

Someone wants to sell me a vehicle but I must pay £7,000 through yourselves before I view, or receive the vehicle. Is this correct and how do I know my money is safe? After 4 days I can either accept the vehicle, or return it for a refund. How safe is that please?

Question:

How do i recommend escrow.com to a seller in a website and to use it for payment

Answer:

Hello Onu, You may direct the Seller to the Escrow.com website to learn more about our service, or you can provide them with our phone number, 949-635-3800. Once the Seller has agreed to us our service to complete the sale, both parties must register a free account on our website. One party will create the transaction and must enter the other party's email address. After both parties have agreed, the buyer will be given payment options to send the funds. Escrow.com will then hold the funds until both buyer and seller confirm the transaction is complete. Please contact us at support@escrow.com if you have any other questions. Thank you, Keith Gettle Customer Service Manager.

Question:

Answer:

Hello, We are not familiar with the company, however, Escrow.com would be able to accept transactions for that type of a service. You will want to make sure that you are registering your own account with Escrow.com and that you never take payment instructions from emails that are sent you unless it was at your request through our support center. Please feel free to contact us at anytime by email at support@escrow.com or by phone at 949-635-3800 or 888-511-8600. Thank you,

Question:

Why is escrow better than dan to sell a domain?

Answer:

Hi Janine! Thanks for reaching out! As the largest online licensed and audited escrow operator, Escrow.com is your best choice for domain transfer transactions. Escrow.com safely holds or secures the Buyer's payment in a trust account until the entire transaction is complete. That way, Buyers can be confident that the domain will be registered in their name and Sellers can be sure they'll be paid. We also have the concierge service for domain transfers without content where the Seller needs not to wait for the Buyer to confirm receipt and full control of the domain as Escrow.com will essentially take care of that inspection in your behalf. The Seller will only need to transfer the domain to one of our secured registrar accounts and we can release the funds to them. On the Buyer's side, they don't need the inspect period to verify the domain because we will do that for them. Our concierge team will work directly with the Seller to transfer the domain to us so there's no need for the Buyer to stress with follow-ups about the domain transfer. As soon as we secure the payment, the Buyer only needs to advise us where they want the domain to be transferred to and we will take care of the rest. Our dedicated concierge specialists will assist you every step of the way. Feel free to leave your contact details and best time to call as we are happy to discuss with you further should you have other questions. Thanks!

Answer:

Hi Milly, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly but Escrow.com only displays bank information on our site and never via email. Check to make sure any emails you are receiving came from@escrow.com.

Question:

Trying to buy a car on autotrader how can i do this safly

Answer:

Hi Doug, start by making an offer to the seller through the AutoTrader.ca's Secure Payment platform. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from an@escrow.com email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account. Hope this helps!
