Perfect for international transfer. Easy and quick.
I appreciated the human touch in having a rep sending an email. The one star deduction is in regards to the UI, some of the hyperlinks jumped back to the homepage instead of desired destination. The dash could make it clearer as to what stage the process we are in.
Transaction went well overall. Escrow was not clear on the next steps. Exact steps could be laid out in aclearer way. The action to take at the time payment received and payment secured are not clearly defined.

The process was very smooth and the Escrow.com team was great to work with.
The process went smoothly enough, but at certain points I (the seller) as well as the buyer were confused by the poorly designed UI of Escrow.com. Things that should have been obvious to us — for example, how to notify Escrow.com that we had completed a certain phase and therefore our counterpart should have been notified — just weren't obvious. The functionality is all there, but it's like any software that's been designed without sufficient testing on normal, everyday users.
Good and exciting experience. I would use the service again in the future.

Awesome, wasn't really sure if this would work out but I put my trust in it and was able to purchase a vehicle from a private party 2,100 miles away. Both parties were made whole in a very satisfactory transaction!

It's a very smooth transaction and the response from the team is fast!
The escrow transaction saved me from an unscrupulous seller.
What was not good though, was the login in attempts to view the transaction. The site would not let me access the transaction without only seeing payment options. The time lag was not good either, as the other party was slow to post.
Horrible first experience, had a smooth transaction of product and purchase/sell between me and the buyer, the buyer accepted the product and escrow finished the inspection period within a day. After that I got a message and text that funds was disbursed and should be in my account within 48 hours.
I contacted them after 72 hours and they said that international wires could take 3-5 business days, fair enough. I contact them once again after 6-7 business days and they say that the funds will be in my account that night.
Around 20 hours passes, I contact them a third time and they request bunch of information to re-process the release of the funds. So it seems like it was never released, their support kept delaying me with automated message and the information they are requesting is exactly the same that was provided when I signed up and verified my account, not sure what their goal or point is with delaying payments and giving a horrible user experience.
Horrible experience, not helpful support, closes ticket after every email and assigns low priority to the tickets..
Highly recommended if buying or selling online

Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from an@escrow.com email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account.
