I was selling a motor vehicle on ebay. The winner of the auction requested we use escrow.com. After seeing their website and customer reviews I whole heartedly agreed. The vehicle was to be shipped across country. The company that shipped it was chosen by the buyer. Upon arrival the buyer rejected the vehicle due to damages sustained during shipping. After negotiating with the buyer we finally reached an agreement. This was independent of escrow.com once we reached an agreement we both contacted escrow.com multiple times in regards to releasing the funds. The buyer also forwarded me the multiple emails he sent and i of course sent multiple myself. Along with daily calls. At first I was told the transaction was under review by the dispute team and the funds would be released within 24hours. Here I am 3 weeks into that 24hr time period and still no funds. Every day I call and I get the run around. Told the same thing every day. How long could it take the dispute team to review a transaction that had already been resolved. I'm fed up I contacted my attorney this afternoon. They are liars, thrives and crooks and can't be trusted with your money.
