Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

I purchased a 14 foot enclosed trailer on your auction. I drove 90 minutes to go pick it up only to discover it was a 10' trailer. I spoke with the auctioneer and he apologized. I didn't end up taking the trailer as it's not what I needed.
Thank you for the feedback! Sometimes mistakes happen!

The auction and online bidding was easy to navigate. The people working the auction were polite and helpful. Pick up of items went smooth and the staff were great.

Thank you for the feedback!
It was my first time winning a bid and it was nice and I can't wait to go to my next equipment facts auction
Great to hear, Tyrone!
Best auction I have ever done online and the experience was great. Superb customer service and support. Absolutely the nicest people running the business. Hopefully I will bid on something else.
Great to hear!
I was bidding on a single item with the option to purchase up to 12 of the items if I was the Winning Bidder, which I was, but I ended up not getting them due to:
1. There was no clear instructions on how to pick all 12 items, and as it turned out I had to scroll down thru all twelve and mark them individually, which even if I had known that was the way to do it, would have still been time consuming for a live Auction. I would have thought that there would have been a simple Box that you could have keyed in a quantity of 1 to 12, depending on how many you wanted to purchase. Note: There was a Small Box at the Bottom of my Screen with 0-12 showing, but it didn't do anything when tapped.
2. There was apparently a software or hardware problem on Equipment Facts end which kept the auctioneer from seeing that i had clicked on all 12 items and then though I could hear everything the Auctioneer Said, I had no way to communicate with him. I even used the text/message feature that was on my screen and supposedly to allow real time messaging, and that didn't work either.
I had rode up to the Auction earlier to inspect the 12 items, but was unable to stay there, which is why I was using Equipment Facts, as I was able to monitor the Auction while I working, and when it got close to the 12 lots I was interested in, I stepped away so I could be sure to win the bid on them, but it turned out I had literally wasted my time driving 50 miles round trip, and then the next couple of hours waiting on those 12 items to come up. To say I was livid after all of that is truly an understatement.
While using my Phone there were constant pings coming thru from the Auction, which made it almost impossible to keep up with the Bids because you couldn't hear the Auctioneer every-time it pinged.
I was using Android's OS in a Samsung made phone.
Last but not least charging $30 for a wire transfer when no wire transfer takes place is ludicrous. I get charging a small percentage for a credit/debit card fee, but that $30 just comes across as theft!
In the future I might use Equipment Facts just to follow along if I can't be at the Auction, but I will be leaving Proxy Bids at the Auction so that I don't have to rely on Equipment Facts to work.
Bid on 1 skidsteer but 2 were on my invoice. Rebel quickly fixed the issue.
Thank for the feedback. Please follow-up directly with the seller to resolve. The issue invoices and you would pay them directly.
I called 4 different people to see if I had everything ready to go I even bid the day before When the live auction went off air it didn't come back and supposedly I had to sign in again and then I was locked out
Had a great time and it was easy to understand the process. Pre bid and the system took care of everything.
Great to hear!
It was hatd to hear the auctioner, and i had choice of two and there was no way to communicate with auctioner on making my decision, so they made the decision for me.
Vehicles description wasn't accurate. Only found out both cars had non operational transmissions after receiving invoices.
Thank you for the feedback! The seller will be notified of your feedback.
For whatever reason half way thru the auction I receive an email from you saying that I cannot bid anymore. So the other items that I wanted to bid on I couldn't. You suck!
Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, because we have an automated registration process, all new bidders are subject to reverification upon bidding within their first few auctions, to confirm their account is a legitimate account. At times this may briefly interfere with live bidding. While not ideal it does give us the ability to discern whether accounts are authentic or not. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Really works well, have had no problem.Use it a lot for proxy bidding. Only wish we get an end of sale notice what the item sold for instead trying to find it after the sale.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll let the seller know.
Searching items (utility vehicles) with filters was easy and it's better if you skip "current location" and enter your zip code. On the day of the auction, there were initial audio problems at the auction, which they corrected. The bidding went smoothly and I won my item.
The only problem I had was locating the invoice - clicking on "My Invoices" led me to the whole auction and I still can't find an invoice (preferably itemized) online. I see this as a major issue that should be fixed. It is also difficult going to the "buying" page - when a bidder is ready to enter an auction, there should be a visible link to click on the splash page.
Everything went very well. Would highly use this site again.
Thanks Chris!
Why did you change multiple rings tab, every time i went back and forth it opened up a new tab. The rings were marked east and west on sale, but sale day they were marked one and two.
Thank for the feedback! We'll let the seller know.
