Very disappointed the item that I purchased was not as described in description They made it sound like it was a good running, clean machine with heat and AC. The machine has Assess amount Of rust heat air conditioning does not work they spray painted everything to cover it up so that you could not tell by the pictures very deceptive in order for online bidding to work, seller must be honest
I was really impressed by how efficient the auction was, and how seamlessly the online bidding was integrated with the floor bidders who were on site. As an online bidder, it was great to be able to hear the auctioneer in real time, and the auction moved fast.
Fantastic!
This is my first actual experience with Equipmentfacts. So far, it is impressive. Wiring the payment is in progress. I have yet to pick up the implement, so I still have some procedure facets to experience. It's been painless this far down the path. Gina is a gem and keeps things moving orderly.
Would have been nice to have the payment processing done through your site rather than paying at the auction site with cash but overall it went well. Thank you!
Thank yo for the feedback. Unfortunately, we don't touch the money on transactions since we aren't the seller. Some sellers do have online payment options but it does vary.
Live auction with online bidding. Using my iPhone at home, the connection was generally good with online bidding blending well with onsite bidders. Live feed dropped a few times when unimportant items (to me) were being auctioned. Overall very pleased.
Thank you for the feedback!
My first Auction. Had plenty of help from my contact Zack. I was a little confused on the shipping. I guess a lot of contractors are in line to get you your equipment. Lot of calls but all went well so far. Courtney and Allissa very helpful in the office. Helped me out tremendously. Thanks Don
Thank you, Don!
I was listening to the live auction obviously while it was going on and bought two items. They both were rather fishy, the first one said that i was outbid and lost the item. I even took a screen shot of it saying so but then i got an email a few minutes later saying i won the bid. On the second item i purchased the auctioneer sold the same item before the one i bought for $300 and he asked if someone would pay the same amount for the second one. The bid button said 300 and then when i got the invoice it was $400. Im done with this live onsite auction stuff, every auction that i have participated in it is very obvious that they favor who is on site and they manipulate the auction to facilitate those individuals. They use the internet to push the bid and then ultimately favor the onsite bidders. Almost always the person running the equipment facts bid doesnt move fast enough to put in a bid resulting in a loss of the item for the internet bidder. I am not impressed and likely will not waste my time on it any further.
Thanks for the feedback! By nature the online bidding is always going to have a slight delay.
Bidding and buying from Equipmentfacts was very easy. Simple to setup and get bidding. Bought a mini excavator I had been searching for. Thanks for making the process so easy.
Great to hear!
Live auctions are awkward for me.
I managed through the process.
I used two devices to stay on top of the process.
I did use the Pre-Bid to establish a connection.
Thanks for the feedback!
I am registered with equipmentfacts. It's easy to log in and watch auctions. The bidding can be disabled if you're just watching or activated if you choose to bid. So far it's been a very streamlined experience.
Thank you for the feedback!
Horrible. The auction was delayed the whole time so it was hard to bid and you all banned my account mid auction to where I couldn't bid on anything else.
Thank you for the feedback! Accounts are subject to reverification since we have automated registration. I let the bidder dept. know about your concern. Please accept my apologies for the delay.
I didn't realize there was a buyer's premium added to the bid I placed. This made the item cost more than the going price for it. I feel that if the seller is already paying a commission the buyer shouldn't be paying also. All though the bidding process was easy to follow through.
We appreciate the feedback! Unfortunately, buyer premiums are very common and are levied by the seller not EF but still vary from sale to sale.
It went well. I was pleasantly surprised once I understood the forum. I was able to pre-bid on items once I signed up and even was the winner of a few during the live auction. Thank you, I look forward to more auctions.
We appreciate the feedback!
The site kept losing internet access and I was unable to complete some bids. Happened about 4 times. My account was locked by EF during the auction because of "how many times I was bidding" isn't that the idea of an auction?
You locked me out of my account for almost the first half of the auction. You had me on hold for more than an hour. Had to call auctioneer to get any help. Other than that it wasn't a bad experience.
Thanks for the feedback! Bidders are subject to reverification due to automated registration, accounts are usually within a few minutes depending on volume.
I don't know if there is a short time delay between the auction and the website but I had 2 items I bid on and it came up "I am done " and a few seconds later it would say sold. I had placed the bid before it was over but did not accept it. It was disappointing to me.
Thanks for the feedback...sometimes there can be a delay based on individual connections.
As a beginner for never doing an online auction, I was very confused on whose bed was doing what till I seen that I stroll down farther on my phone and could see the beds. Also, I thought I was top bit when I didn't so I lost some equipment that I thought I bid the highest on and realized I wasn't the one that was accepted on the bid so I'm assuming just because the first time user it was a little confusing for me, but also I could not pick up and pay for the equipment. I purchased that day. I had to wait till the next week during the week and takeoff a day of work to get it, which is very inconvenient for me.
But I realize that is probably the way online auctions work
Thank you for the feedback! Each auction is unique, communicate with the seller see if other options are available.
I went pretty good. A text notification about being 10 lots away would work better than the email. Most people have text notifications on their phone, not email.
We appreciate the feedback! Check your account preferences for notification options.
The auction site was top notch, I like the way the items are listed in order coming up, not much latency using the bid button with hundreds of other buyers. The option to view and listen to the auctioneer and see the current item being sold and the upcoming list all work together to create an easy to use web platform, intergrated with the bidders onsite and online. I think the platform is top notch and very easy to use and follow, and I wouldnt change anything I can think of right now.
Glad to hear it!
Everything went very smoothly. There were no problems. It was almost like being at the auction without having to fight the crowd.
Glad to hear!
Thank you for the feedback! We'll let the seller know since they are responsible for the listing.
