Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Long time "watcher" first time "bidder". All went as expected with little difficulty. Even for an 85 year old.Bid was successful.
Thanks.
Equipment facts has been a pleasure to use. Simple and straight forward,
Great to hear, Josh!
We bid on a couple things all went well then tried yo bid on another one and the site said they stopped my bidding for verification? Really! Missed out on a couple things because of this!
Thanks for your feedback! Since we have an automated registration process we do have a subsequent reverification step for new bidders that may briefly delay bidding. We appreciate your understanding.
The auction company did an extremely poor job of representing a piece of equipment I purchased online. I've used online auctions many times with great success. They took a few pictures of the best looking parts of the trailer but didn't show any of the bad and I do mean BAD spots! I would not have bid on it had they represented it properly, but I guess that's how they can make more money, by hiding the damage. Also I went to the address they had listed on the website and was taken 30 miles away to a different location. I will not be giving them a good review.
Thank you for the feedback, we'll let the seller know.
Equipmentfacts worked well for the Kyle Kelso Farm Equipment auction that I bid and purchased items on Saturday, the audio worked well and I liked the fact that since I had an account with Equipmentfacts previously, signing in was easy and I could immediately bid on lots.
We appreciate your feedback!
The bidding experience was great. It would be nice to get an email on the items I purchased. I cannot find them anywhere. Good things I wrote them down.
Thanks for the feedback! Email is sent to the winning bidder, please check your spam folder.
I made 3 bids online
One I jumped off at the end and was OK on Kubota Backhoe
2 I bid on a horse trailer and won.
The 3rd I pre bid $200 for a flat bottom John boat. Said I was the high bidder and had a little red hart
Then the bidding started at $100 went to $200 and thought it was me, they said SOLD to a guy at the auction for $200. Hmmm,. Bit disappointing but not sure what happened
Just wanted you to know
Thanks
Thanks for the feedback!
Was unable to attend auction. With the alerts on my wishlist, allowed me to quickly get into auction. I was able to purchase item I was needing.
Great to hear!
There's no bidding issues. There's just so many dealers that it's hard for regular Joe like me to get a good deal.
Thanks for the feedback!
Was everything I expected and beyond
Be more than happy to use again
Thanks for the feedback!
Over all pleased. There where times items were not available to be seen.
Thank you for the feedback! Some items aren't always available for online bidding.
I was able to purchase one of the items I was interested in but the audio and video feed had gone out so I was kind of just shooting in the dark when I bid. Another item I was interested in showed up as a no sale and I have no idea why because of the audio issues.
Thanks for letting us know!
It would be better if a deadline for bidding was listed, there is no cut-off time for any of the bids.
We'll let the seller know. Generally it's about one-hour prior to the live sale.
The experience of bidding online was good. Things seemed a little drawn out, but then again, this was my first experience bidding online...
Thank you for the feedback!
The biggest issue was the quality of the audio. Could not understand nearly a single word during the auction. It sounded like there were multiple phones sitting on speaker right next to each other. Awful experience.
Secondly, the operator of the online portion could not keep up and keep entering the wrong value of the bid. However. If the person was not live at the auction there is no way they could have understood based on the audio quality. Thirdly, I won a UTV. However come to find out I was bidding against a live person and the auctioneer did not establish communication with "web people" so it was effectively sold to 2 individuals. Didn't find that out till I was packing up to come get the item. Awful experience pretty much overall.
Thank you for the feedback! We'll let the seller know, sometimes the issues are out of their control.
Glad to hear it!
