I hadn't been to The Emporium since it opened several years ago. I was just in and couldn't believe how great it is now. We found some amazing barn wood, a vintage windmill and a chandelier for our new home. OMG-It is my new favorite place to shop. We came down from Longmont and it was completely worth the drive!

I paid off my account early in December of 2016. I just received notice from a company called Monterey Financial. They said I didn't pay my account, I have a 1.13 balance that has mushroom into a 131.76 balance with penalties and late payment charges I have not paid in the last three months. Why didn't they notify me earlier instead of waiting until March 2017. I had an attorney look over their terms and conditions, there's nothing about selling my account to another party. My attorney says they have breached the terms and conditions and I owe nothing

I opened my account several months ago and have been trying to order from them every since. But when trying to check out it tells me that my social is in use in another application. Including today, I have placed 8 calls to get this corrected so I could orer. Each time I was told that someone would get back to me within 48 hours. Lies! Have yet to receive a return call or have my problem addressed. Today I ask for a supervisor and was told there are none on duty because it is Saturday. At that point I requested they close my account. Now they say it will take 72 hours to close. The customer NO service stinks. As I said previously DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!

Have had the same issues as everyone else. I dealt with the bs for over 3 months and even though it was cancelled over 3 weeks ago, still haven't received a refund for the money I paid toward the order I never got and they had sold my account to another financial company who still is trying to charge me. I really wanted the washer I had ordered so I stayed patient for far too long. I even told them that I'd just reorder and apply money already sent to the new order if they gave me a discount, yet no one seems to be able to approve a discount. Worst place ever to shop. Legal action will probably need to be taken here soon.
Update, an associate with emporium helped me get things sorted out and was beyond helpful. Based on the helpfulness of this associate alone, I will likely shop there again soon.

So in December 2016 I ordered a vacuum cleaner. Paid the deposit. It is now February 18 2016 and I have yet to receive my item. I have however paid three payments towards a item I don't have. I have placed over 10 calls. I have done multiple chats. I hear the same lines. "Take it with a grain of salt" " your item will be shipped any day" I have requested to speak to supervisors yet I never get transferred and am told the same thing. I ordered from this place and got my items. Paid 2 months then decided to pay off what i owe early to close my account. After paying off $0 balance i got an email stating my account had been transfered to another financial place and I owe $168. I placed my order in November. Paid deposit on December 9. These were Christmas presents for my son and father. Got an email that they would be delayed until Dec 28. On Dec 30 I got an email that they would be taking payments out of my account starting in January. I called and talked to customer service. They said thwey would not take payments out of my account until I received the items. That was a flat out lie. On Jan 4 they took the first payment out of my account. I called customer service again and asked to talk to the supervisor. They put someone on that said he was from the upper management. I told him that my account was now overdrawn because they took out a payment before I received my products and I was not expecting it. He said he would put a request in to reverse the payment. It never happened. He also said that my items should be shipped within the next week. Then I got another email saying that my items were backordered and shipment was delayed. I sent an email to customer service asking when they would be shipping out my items. They said they would send them out as soon as they became available in the warehouse. It is now Jan 29. I have sent an email requesting a full refund and cancel order. I said that I would start fraud proceedings if I did not get an answer back immediately. Now I will have to find another way to get Christmas for my dad and son. SUPER SCAM!
