I bought around 2- 3 items. And now the coupons dont work! I tried like 10 other item. And it says There was an issue with getting your coupon.
This site and club is horrible. Just when you start to enjoy the benefits they mark your account suspicious and block you to purchase. They dont tell you why your account has been flagged and they arent willing to reinstate. They did this to me and my friend. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this site. Extremely disappointed
Suddenly Not able to make any purchases. Rude customer service. Like other reviews no reason given and they mentioned some suspicious activity in my account and refuse to provide any information or clarification.
I used Elite Deal Club for almost 2 years then suddenly I was banned for suspicious activity. Customer Service will not tell you what you did to get banned and are extremely rude. Many times codes didn't work but I just stopped reporting them because customer service always blames the user. Seems like they are up to something fraudulent with all the people they are banning lately for no reason.
Stay Away! They have no customer service whatsoever - dismissive, abrupt and rude! Don't waste your time with this site
They have buggy algorithms flagging you inappropriately. I am tired of dealing with their customer service. It is not worth the effort. Their technology is way behind.
I am pretty sure this may be an old post, however from what i hear there may be a lot of 'fraud' going on. However in my experience (06/05/18), this site is amazing. They haven't asked me off anything except from my email. This site is absolutely a life saver. The best deals on the market. I got something that was £9.97, to only £1.00. However it is true about price switching they say you will get something for (example) 50p however they then charge you a pound.
Was 5 stars! WAS... Now Im very disappointed because out of nowhere this site doesnt know me anymore... I had never complained or anything it just simply doesnt know me Ive messaged them & they got back to me through Facebook messenger telling me to email them. Well Ive done that and still nothing... They dont recognize me but I still receive daily emails from them hmm strange... Im thinking maybe something went wrong on their side because a friend of mine had signed up and the very next day she wasnt recognized but still receiving mail from them. You cant make another account with them unless you use a different device which tells me they blocked me on an IP level... EliteDealClub unblock me please!
Great deals site for Amazon. I have received so many great deals that its unreal. Most codes worked now some did not BUT you cant expect every single code to work, would be nice but life isnt perfect. It happens on all these type of sites its just the way it goes... you cant be greedy but be happy with the codes that did work and be happy you got something for a discounted price!
I've been a member of Elite Deal Club for several years & it used to be a legit site to receive Amazon promo codes to get discounted Amazon items.
Now it's absolutely a fraudulent site & a complete scam. If you look on their Facebook page there are hundreds & hundreds of complaints that go back several years. How this site is even still operating is beyond me.
Also there's zero customer service which people have complained about ad nauseam on their Facebook page, so that's another red flag this site is a fraudulent scam. Literally you'll never ever get a person to respond to any emails.
Now they ask for your credit card info & after a given amount of time, ban you for 'suspicious activity', having kept your credit card info. Please don't sign up for this site & please don't give them your credit card or any personal info. Even if you sign up & somehow are able to get some promo codes, give it enough time & eventually you'll get banned like tons of other people.
There are theories bouncing around their Facebook page that they're using credit card & personal info fraudulently and/or mining email addresses to sell them. They could also be using their system now just to get unsuspecting Amazon sellers to pay them for their 'service' (but never delivering on the service), and/or getting Amazon sellers better Amazon search standings & providing small Amazon sellers some amount of advertising because once EDC members get a code (if they get one, even if the code doesn't work) & click on the link to the Amazon item or search the item on Amazon, it bumps the sellers up the search list.
I never did anything 'suspicious' & I'm sure most members probably didn't either (which would be considered activities such as purchasing Amazon items with the promo codes at a discount & reselling on Amazon for more, having more than one account in order to get more than one code per user, etc. Honestly almost all the Amazon items, when the site did work, were cheap items & many were Chinese made junk. So I don't really know how people would even make that much money reselling, especially when you factor in shipping).
I personally used the site as intended, had my one account & bought all of the items for my own personal use/gifts.
My account was 'banned for suspicious activity' & if you read through their Facebook page, there are literally thousands of people saying the exact same thing happened to them. Obviously we all didn't commit suspicious activities so clearly the fault lies with their site.
Bottom line - please don't waste your time with this scam of a site & please don't give them your credit card info or any personal info.
I'm reporting them to BBB & Amazon & hope they get shut down asap so they can't prey upon anymore innocent people. There's many others who wrote BBB reviews & on their Facebook page saying they are going to report them too.
Stay far away from Elite Deal Club!
The bait and switch pricing that was rampant on the site recently when reported to th site got me banned from receiving codes, upon inquiry as to the reasons i got the canned response and Now i am reporting them to every government agency to have them fined and all members restored to good standing They maligned me by saying i had fraudulent activity? I reported their fraud to them.!?
UPDATE (04/03/2017): Recently, I was able to log in without issues whenever I use the mobile Google Chrome browser on my Android phone, anything else won't work. Also, only Facebook log in works for me. Fortunately, I could snag a couple of great deals, even for free. Even though there are still major issues with the website, the deals I got were great. So, I decided to change my review title "Very Useless - DEALS ARE FAKE" to "Great Deals But Can Only Log In from Phone". I add a star, too. It would have been 5 but it's still a hassle to log in as I can only use my phone.
UPDATE (03/21/2017): Today I was able to obtain a coupon code for a product in the afternoon. I could have ordered more but there was only one product of interest to me. Maybe, it's not a clickbait site after all? I updated my overall rating from 1 to 3 stars from now. Depending how it works out in the future, I will add or remove stars again. For now, I would say, try it out and see.
I thought it was a great site to get highly discounted products on Amazon. Most deals are very low priced or even free. However, I learned it's just clickbait. See herehttps://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/elitedealclub.com
Another Sitejabber reviewer also tells she paid money to get a deal but never received the product. That tells me it's really just a site to get page clicks for Amazon products. I wish there was an option to ban sellers that work with that scam site.
In all, wasted my time registering.
I have submitted this complaint to the BBB:
On 12/9 I clicked on an Amazon Elite Deal on elitedealclub.com. These deals cost $1, charged by EliteDealClub. I attempted to use the code that was issued from my purchase but the code did not work. I found out it was because I had purchased the item at a different time from a different site. I reached out to EDC to let them know I was unable to use the code. They provided a canned response regarding their testing of all codes the night before. I explained to them that it was not due to the invalidity of the code, but due to a previous purchase I had made. I requested my $1 to be refunded. I have attempted to reach out to the company over the past 14 days. They responded to another of my requests but have yet to resolve the issue over the $1. There is nowhere on their site where they say these charges are non refundable. I was not able to use the code I had purchased, no matter the reason.
Elitedealclub.com is one of those sites where you can get products for cheap or free on Amazon in exchange for your review of that product. I signed up months ago. The site is supposed to email you daily with the "deals" they will have available that day. There is a small selection. I actually receive that daily email perhaps 3 times a week rather than daily. The deals go live at 10am and 2pm. When you log on for those deals, the site is so overcrowded that it takes a few minutes for the site to load, so once you are "in"... all the decent deals are gone, or by the time the site actually loads a deal you click on, it is sold out and then it is too late to try for another decent deal. Most of the deals are stale and are the same daily. Tons of supplements, phone screens and cheap beauty products. When I have been able to select a product, 8 out of 10 times, the actual price in your cart is more expensive than what was listed on the site. Customer service is zero help. You get canned replies or ask them to remove the deal from your history and it is never removed, so you get an annoying pop up on the screen every few minutes when you are on their site, reminding you to review the product you never purchased. Lastly, it says you must be invited by a member and then approved to become a member yourself of their "club". Nah... I just signed up with no invite and so did a few of my friends. There are so many other review sites that offer many more (quality) products, provide actual customer service and have servers that can handle the traffic.
Answer: CANCEL THAT CREDIT CARD. They get your # and use it to charge you every time you want to get a "special" prime deal. Even if you do not get a working code. They have gotten pretty sketchy I wouldn't trust my information to them
Answer: $1.00 fee but they ask for your credit card information stating that if you don't give it to them you will not be offered prime deals then after receiving your credit card information they will claim fraudulent activities and ban you from site BEWARE READ OTHER POSTS HERE AND ON FB PAGE
