I was once a member of elite deals. At the time I was pretty naive, and saw the daily deals as some kind of amazing gift.
What I didn't realise is that this company just use everyone. They use the sellers, who are stupid enough to pay them to market their goods at give-away prices to better their sales ranks. They use the people who sign up to them, because these people join thinking that they'll be respected users. Little do they know, because elite deals never tell them, that their days are numbered the moment they sign up. Because once they decide you've had enough deals, or they *think* they have reason to give you the boot, they do exactly that. They don't need to respect you, because you're a commodity, a party of their money making enterprise. They don't need to tell you anything, they don't need to respond to your emails and they absolutely won't reinstate you once you've been unceremoniously removed!
More to the point is the fact that there's some seriously stupid sellers out there paying these cowboy idiots to up their sales ranks. When there are so many other companies out there that can do the same job and maintain respect whilst they do it.
There's a few companies I ditched as a consequence of being an elite deals member. I wouldn't recommend them if you paid me to. Because, if they're willing to use elite deals to improve their sales then they're willing to give products to people they too have no respect for.
I now stick to using companies who actually see their clients and customers as worthy of respect. If I want a coupon I head there. I've found great sellers I've gone on to buy products from at full price. I've going great websites who have helped when a coupon code doesn't work.
Who has the final laugh, elite deals for barring me from their "elite club" or me? I do! I'm a top 500 reviewer with Amazon, and I have what most of these cr4ppy companies and Elite Deals want. I have a reviewers voice!
If you get blocked, use your voice and tell these companies what you think think of them using Elite Deals to tout their unusable products for a quid. Review the cr4p items, say you were enticed by a code, and you wouldn't pay 10p let alone a quid or whatever price it is they're trying to flog it at! Make sure elite deals aren't their solution. These sellers will migrate to companies who have more respect for us buyers.
Elite deals is run by a pretentious fat American buffoon who is probably sat in his swimming pool chuckling about the money he's raking in for this set-up. Bellend.
Earlier I submitted a review about EliteDealClub that was written under the influence of irritation, angst, and ( colorful expletives). I rarely get the deal I'm trying for but I have gotten some really great deals. There are just too many members with way more experience than a newbie like me who have the good stuff gobbled up before I can figure out my password.
This is not a site for the traditional shopper. You get yourself logged in, and then you wait for the starting gun to go off and the second it does - make that the nanosecond - items go live just long enough to let you hate what you didn't get.
It is frequently a frustrating event that has the potential to ruin the entire day, lol! But the truth is that once that feeding frenzy has moved on to greener grabbings there are remarkable deals to be found. If you do in fact need supplements you can get them almost free, as in for pennies but rarely more than a buck or two. Not long ago I grabbed a face cream that retails for nearly $60 for $4.
There are a few design flaws in the way the site is set up and some of the coupons are no good ( at a rate of about one in four.) with the primary gripe that the system doesn't recognize if a code is no good, it only sees that you clicked to get a deal and that's your deal for that session. So anyway, not a bad site at all, just a little stressful.
UPDATE:
I have some more experience with this site now and can honestly say that
There are no better deals than what can be found with this site. I shop
At Vipon, Snagshout, Jumpsend, and sometimes at AMZBlitz,
And this club beats them all, hands down. That said, there is a
Definite skill-set involved in getting the deal you want. Here is my
Approach: Firstly, get signed in early and when the clock trips
To the hour it opens in your state, if it doesn't load immediately like
Mine sometimes doesn't, duplicate the page, don't reload - that takes
Too long. Duplicate until the products show. When the page first opens
It has a disclaimer window that will slow you down if you take the time
To click a response in that window. Just click anywhere on the main page
And that window will vanish. You should get an email beforehand with
That day's deals and have already decided what you want to try for. I
Scroll the email up and down repeatedly to make sure I can spot my item
Fast. Take time to learn the product description as sometimes the
Pictures don't load as quickly as the script. The point here is that you
Need to get to your item FAST, within seconds. Once you've found your
Product click on it and keep your finger near the page-down key. The
Moment the page opens scroll down and click on "Get Your Coupon".
Another strategy is to start from the bottom of the page instead of the
Top where everyone else is. If you are lucky, the item you want is
Closer to the bottom than the top. You only get to claim 1 item in the
Morning, so pick an item to focus on and try to grab it within 3
Seconds. My latest great grab was a Karaoke system worth $175 for just
$2.00. I've gotten cameras, virtual goggles, cookware, jewelry,
You name it and I have never spent more than $5 for anything. There are
Bad coupons, but sometimes they just take a little while to be put in
The system at Amazon, so try your coupon code later and it may work.
There is really nothing you can do about bad codes, they happen. It's
Frustrating, but you learn to get over it. Another reason a code may not
Work is if you try to buy other items at the same time. When you go to
Checkout there can only be the item with a code in your cart. Paste the
Code into the promo code box and apply. Good luck and try, try again!
Fly like the wind! There are supplements for that at this site.
