The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to perceived deceptive practices regarding refunds and subscription management. Many users express frustration over the lack of suitable matches and the prevalence of fake profiles, leading to a sense of wasted time and money. Customers frequently highlight inadequate customer service, with limited access to support and automated responses exacerbating their concerns. While a few users mention positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a need for improved transparency, better quality control of profiles, and a more responsive customer service approach.

If you want to lose your money, this is the place.
I tried the site for 4 weeks and cancelled by profile.
It was hopeless.
They said I could not cancel my contract.
What contract?
They are threatening me with a debt collector.
I repeat, DO NOT USE eHarmony.
They won't let me open the page, citing the use of multiple pages. As proof of that, the pages were blocked by the site itself last year. How can you use pages that are blocked? Are you that legally illiterate? Or are you just hostile to your users? In that case, eliminate the possibility of registration itself and do not mislead people
I purchased a 12 month membership from them and paid in 2 instalments, so I spent £87.50 up front. After finding the site was filled with bots, fake and dead accounts used to fill it up and lure you into buying a membership, I tried to refund 10 days after purchase. They kept £65, saying the "personality profile" they give you right at the start is non refundable, even though it is completely useless without a full membership. They even call it a "reasonable amount" when they have kept over 78% of the payment for 10 days of use! Support is useless. The service is a scam. If you don't believe me, look at the picture of all the bots that turned up and all the messages that land at empty accounts and are never read. Save yourself the pain. Do. Not. Buy
Once you subscribe to eharmony regardles monthly or yearly, its impossible to cancel. They lock you in for a year even if you wanna cancel aftert a month u decided u dont want it anymore. I'm a transgirl and its a bad idea to join eharmony where all men wants vagina. I only got one message after 3 weeks of joining so its not gonna work for me in the site but im stuck paying monthly until i finish 1 yr contract. Dont fall for it. Its not worth it. It's like a mortgage, u cant opt out.
EHarmony is the world's largest online dating service. It's a bit of a catch-all category, but I believe it has some distinguishing features. To begin, you can use eHarmony to look for people based on religion, ethnicity, and other factors. Second, they have a plethora of filters to assist you in narrowing down your search. Third, they provide relationship guidance and tools.
Eharmony was one of the first dating sites to use compatibility matching technology, which matches you with people who share your values and lifestyle interests. The company also provides its members with social networking features such as profiles, photo galleries, blogs, and chat rooms where they can discuss relationship-related topics.
I signed up and the cheapest option was a full year expensive membership.I read online that they had a three days refund policy and since you can't see any of the photos on the free version I wanted to see what the platform has to offer. It turned out that the three days refund was only applicable for a few states and not in Canada. I know I didn't do my homework diligently but you would expect that they offer a trial version of some sort. After all, this is the norm in almost all membership platforms. Customer service refused to do a refund eventhough I requested it on the very first day I signed up within hours of not finding any nearby matches, not to mention almost nonexistent except for those living +200 km away! It's unfortunate how greedy e-harmony is preying on people's hope in finding a life partner to snatch almost 400$ in one go.
My experience with eHarmony dates back around two months. I've been using the website for a little more than a month, and I've been dating someone there for approximately three weeks. As a result of all the unfavourable reviews, I initially had some doubts about this dating website. Although I was likewise concerned that it wouldn't work out, I decided to give it a shot after reading all the encouraging reviews.
The majority of users, in my experience, are trying to connect with like-minded individuals, which is precisely what we were both looking for. It's good to be able to meet someone who understands how difficult it is to juggle work and school because we are both quite busy. The main drawback to this service, in my opinion, is that when users first start corresponding via email or chat, there isn't much conversation between them. Until people understand that they genuinely like one another, it takes some time. Nevertheless, once they do, things go more quickly since they feel at ease discussing anything and anything on the website!
Millions of people search for love on one of the most well-known dating services in the world, eHarmony. Users find it appealing because of a variety of features, such as personality assessments and compatibility matching, which can help you locate the right partner.
EHarmony is a fantastic option if you're looking for an online dating site that provides a wide range of alternatives for finding love.
Signed up for this shame of a site. Matching is awful, selection is even worse. The prices they charge is outrageous and if you avoid payment, you will be turned over to collections. Beware, better luck and selection on POF or even Tinder. You take all that time answering your match questions and their algorithms are obviously off! If you enjoy old and toothless and hippie wanta be's, it's your site. Never again will I be encouraged by false representation in reviews that they obviously have control over. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Basically, the idea is to write something critical of eHarmony on your dating profile, and get it past their censorship. It's like a puzzle game! If you want to see how many times you can curse eHarmony, before they terminate your account - go for it! I mean, why not? Their censorship algorithm is about the only thing that works well on their website, and it gives their worthless staff members something to do. Otherwise, they spend all day collecting money, and not offering appropriate matches, or an enjoyable experience, to the point where they HAVE to kick people off just for saying: "You know what? I'm getting really tired of this BS!"
It is full of fake profiles. More than half of my "matches" had no photos and scanty text. Others seemed fake as well. I told them that for such an expensive site, photos should be mandatory. They said that maybe the profiles were "new" and the people didn't have a chance to post a pic and to "reach out." After a while I told them that I believed that those were all fake profiles that they created to make it seem like I had a lot of matches. And they pride themselves on creating these great compatible matches--and you can't search on your own. None of them were of any interest to me--I complained several times and they ended up not charging me for the month I was on there. Which tells me that they were indeed posting up fake profiles as I had threatened to report them for fraud.
It's not a reputable company. Reputable companies charge a fair price for fit-for-purpose services. I was charged $43/month and locked into a 12 month subscription that offered me nothing. I'm a 30-something professional in inner Sydney. They could only match me with 40 yo + tradies with whom I had nothing in common that lived 15-20km away. That's okay but if they can't offer suitable matches there needs to be a right to opt out. I met my partner within 2 months on the dating ap, The League, and yet I had to keep paying for eHarmony even though I was partnered up. The whole company gives me the Ick. I've told my single friends to stay away.
They were very prompt to charge for the service, but first, my profile was off the system for 2 months and when I realized was too late, I could not communicate with a Rep, to tell me why this happened. After that it was working but it was hard to make changes in the system, never had access to a representative to answer your questions regarding the system...very bad or the worst customer service support at all, you can not even cancel the service when you realized you are on your own after you sign in and give your money away. The worst ever!
This company is corrupt. My 1 year membership was paid in full in December 2022.
They took additional money out of my bank for January.
They are refusing to refund this money to me! Do not do Buisness with this corrupt company.
I subscribed for a 3 month trail and was charged $174. I cancelled my subscription in matter of minutes same day. Then I get a charge for $174. I called customer service and the person on the other side of the phone spoke broken English and said that they can not refund my money because I did not cancel but I explained that I did the same day. I sent numerous emails and still they will not refund my money. Ehormony is a total scam with irrelevant customer service. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!' I reported them to the Better Business Bureau
I've been on eHarmony for a few months. Most of the profiles that contact me end up being blocked by eHarmony which I do appreciate since they are likely fake profiles but it would be better if eHarmony had a better way of screening members to begin with. There is very little communcation with "matches" and ike I said most have turned out fake.
1 star is being generous. Its a complete scam. I wish i read the reviews first. Do NOT sign up. They will take an additional £65 from you, even if you cancel within 14 days. Apparently it's somewhere in the small print. The site itself is a complete waste of time. I canceled after just a few days, because it was a waste if time. I'd love to join anyone why wants to take legal action against them for this scam.
I cancelled my account, and they sent multiple emails saying I owed over $200! They would not address this with me with a phone call, and now I'm getting letters from RFGI collections. I now am having my attorney get involved. Do NOT sign up for this site.
They charged me over 400.00 for a 6 month subscription, a friend of mine paid less then 200. For a 12 month subscription. I asked to cancel my subscription or refund to a lower price. They told me they would not do either.
There are to many other sites that are up front with their pricing to be ripped off by this one.
E HARM money... those were my "matches" sent to me by e-HARM constantly after I paid them $250 for a 6 month subscription. I was a single straight male indeed:

https://postimg.cc/1VP5nNJj
https://postimg.cc/hf4gxn1h - a pedophile!
https://postimg.cc/4YC5qf2x - another pedophile that admits his crimes!
https://postimg.cc/jCmC4LCC - as you can see eHARM insulted muslims too
https://postimg.cc/VJDJM4tP - search result as a proof of working with Google promoting all the nasty fake profiles!
https://postimg.cc/23Gyg2Hb - Google and eHARM allowed pedophiles to promote
E HARM money did not allow their paid or free customers to create such fake profiles, it was impossible to do that! There was NO way to create such a fraudulent fake account even for a paid customer! You had to pay $250 for 6 months single profile (not two or more profiles!) and you could not create more than one profile and those profiles were quality monitored and moderated.
The on the other side of the spectrum someone at eHARMony was creating all those nasty fake profile teasing and shocking their paid customers to death.
It was allegedly done by eHARM themselves or their employees! Imagine paying $250 and getting a match like this! You immediately ask for a refund. E HARM money refused to refund my money! E HARM owes me $250 plus interest! I have got many screenshots of incriminating info on e-HARM-money! And I will keep on posting these until e HARM money pays me $500 which is $250 back in 2008 plus interest for 15 years! Pay up $500.
Answer: EHarmony is over rated and it's a lot of mumbo jumbo... If you're going to pay for a site match.com is set up much better and for a free site plenty of fish is really a nice site... BillyPrewitt.com
Answer: No. They won't refund you.
Answer: On your profile where you get asked questions like whats your fav movie and so on. Replace any answers you have already left with offensive language which in turn will violate their terms and conditions and they will have no option than to close your account. As for getting a refund good luck.
Answer: I called my credit card company because I cancelled within the three day grace period. Eharmony tried to say I had waited too long and therefore would be no refund. My credit card company disputed the charges, my account was credited and I was just notified that the dispute has been approved. No more eharmony charges. Hoe things work out for you.
Answer: You can't opt out. You are locked for the whole duration of your subscription even if u dont use it anymore they will charge ur visa regardless untill ur contract expires. I have to spend 11 more months to a site I cant use coz Im a transgender woman and no man in there wants me.
Answer: Well I have but I No longer on those sites anymore because they are scammers of course and I was on match truly.com and I deactivate my account off there as well but however sometimes I register on that website match truly.com even though I'm No longer a member on that website anymore because I still see the same lady Anna I'd Number is 60780729 and she's still online right now just like any other ladies you see on that site so I go on there just to waste their time and use abusive behavior against them to teach them a lesson and I don't pay money for that so that's why if you Noticed just pay close attention to the lady Anna on match truly.com and you will see her on wishdates.com and many other dating sites so I'm just tracking these websites down and you can see the ladies are Not real and can you tell me what Normal person would stay online 24 hours a day and seven days a week that's Not a Normal person that's a Networker and they like to make all kinds of excuses for themselves so don't listen to Nonsense about what they say because if you keep talking to these fake ladies they will Robb you out of your money so pretty much wasting your time because you are Not getting anywhere but a dead end and believe me I know what I'm talking about because I was on that website for two years and believe me they are phony and so is the customer support they are fake and they think they are very intelligent human beings and they think they can manipulate people so just watch yourself and be careful because I'm still seeing the same ladies on that website today from two years ago they are Not real and they are Not looking for anyone
