Hi All, Never order anything from souq.com unless you forget the option for return. I ordered a TV from Souq, it was delivered and I started using the same but TV had some software issues so I returned the TV. Its been a month now and I have no update, If I call customer service no proper response and emails are just ignored. I am surprised that how Souq.com is surviving in UAE despite of DED. I keep my fingers crossed that I will get my TV back this year. I have all records to support my above information. I will suggest some legal authority to take some action on these cases. Recently I bought a Sony Bluetooth headset and found its metal clip to be very hard, Souq.com wanted me to write the review according to their own likings, after multiple email correspondence I finally gave up.
I've ordered multiple times from souq.com and most of my orders were delivered within the expected delivery date. Just hope that you wouldn't need any support from their customer service regarding ANYTHING. Be it, refund, returns etc. They have the worst customer support ever. Their employees behind their PCs are incompetent.
Unbelievable this company has license to operate. How i was treated by them this is not legal. I am having 10 days delay and still hearing the same answers 'we are solving your complain, you will hear back asap, sorry!' and plus on the top customer service being rude. I am feeling like I was robed as I paid 3300AED for the Item I purchased. Cannot believe it suppose to be run by Amazon...
I had bought items and was cancelled due to its non availability but then they took payment but when upon refunding until now they dont want to rrturn my money from the credit card. These people are thieves to their customers.
Totally crap items and pathetic customer service. I ordered laptop that started making a loud noise after a week. Ordered hair curler plus straightener i got burst at the first time i plugged in. When i spoke to them they said we return unused items and you have opened it. I will never recommend this scam company to anyone, just wondering how this is not banned by Dubai municipality till now.
Plus they don't give you return easily they refund it in your souq account only so that you have to buy something else to waste that money on their crap items.
Such a useless products they have, all fake and useless products.
I did it few times because of price is cheap but I didn't realize that quality is also cheap. Never gift to any one they will feel disappointed like me.
I've ordered 12 different items from souq.com, and delivery was in five times!
Every time I hope this is it, but again something is missing to be delivered later.
Also, they don't want to come on your timing, the delivery guy says i can come tomorrow at the same time only (10 am) but cannot come at (3 pm)!

This is my first and last time to buy anything from souq.com.
Exactly 35 days now i am still waiting my refund. Even they didn't reply my complaints and all. 15 times i called the customer service. Same messages coming from them " we transfered to concern department please wait sir" now 35 days left. I am informing you everybody the refund they will not return back. Please careful everybody.
Purchased a Samsung J7, delivery was within the date but the phone started acting up immediately, logged a customer complaint, responses were swift, but i was told that theres no return or exchange policy. This whole thing seems really shady, would seriously not recommend anyone to buy anything from these guys. I was also told that my money would be refunded within 72 hours hopefully this happens.
Quick to take your money but everything else falls apart quickly afterwards.
Ordered two items recently, one I picked up, as it was faster, but turned out to be defective. Had to chase souq to pick it up and return it for refund. Overall process took twice as long as needed and had to follow up with them over 5 times.
Second item I decided to have them deliver. Delivery date 28th June, today is 5th July and the driver just called me for directions. Pathetic. Especially to know that I had to pay extra for delivery, despite the website saying I had gone over the minimum amount and delivery was supposed to be free.
Souq.com is a pathetic company with management whom purposely looks to alienate its customers through bad purchasing experiences. Hoping the amazon purchase will cull the current team.
If your courier is not serving the customers well, I think you can do something for that. You can change the courier or increase the couriers. But I think your company just simply don't care. You don't know maybe what is customer service. I've been waiting for 8 days for my delivery to arrive and to pick up my defective item. From Q express and wing courier. And souq.com will just tell me sorry for that because it is due to white friday sale. I dont care about that, it is not my fault! Expect after 1-2 days you will receive your item and still no delivery nor pick up. souq.com change your customer service because it is very poor.
They never delivery on time and also will not keep the customer know about it if there is a delay. Also when you call them up to know the status, they don't know anything about the status apart from what we can see in the app / website. They simply give a generic / standard response saying that the delay is due to the "High Demand"! Poor planning on stocking & delivery and they make the customer struggle. This is my 3rd order and I'm suffering without any update from them and my very 1st order itself was cancelled due to delays. It was a mistake to order from them again!
I have ordered a bodysuit! I received just the box and inside some other bodysuit which was different by color, purpose and as well cheaper. Basically they put in the box something they couldn't sell. The help line, took my complain, but however, keep calling me intentionally on the hours I specified for them not to call me, then send me an email, complaint close. In the end, no result. I doubt it legal what they do.
I ordered 2 mobile phones. Galaxy s5 and galaxy note edge. Its been 14 days now n yet no delivery. I wrote them several email yet none has been replied to except for the automated reply. This is b***sh**.
Several call attempts are just plain waste of time. And the call centre people are stupid and annoying. They say that they dont have the color i ordered for but they refuse to send another color phone which they claim they have. And the worst part is i have paid via credit card.
Souq.com has become such a horrible service provider. I ordered a TV, Microwave, camera and 6 other items from them on 28June... The only thing i have received is the camera. They are not bothered by this delay and when i call they say they cant trace the ordered goods... Really? I mean this is the last time ordering from souq. I would rather pay a little more for quality items from people that do care about customer service.
I am absolutely shell-shocked how a company like amazon can partner with such an unprofessional and unethical business... I wonder
Souq.com sells just about everything under the sun. The prices are okay but they have just terrible customer service. They like to say Souq.com is like the Amazon.com of the Middle East. Nice try -- if they were more helpful then perhaps I would give them that name.
Delivery process is horrible since they dont announce when they will deliver an item so you can ditch all your plans and sit at home, wait for them. If you are not at home at the moment they decide to show up, good luck for the next day. Nobody can accept the item expect yourself.
Hi everyone forever i can't recommend you for online shopping with Souq.com because they make fake promotions if you order they don't send you the items then you call and ask for extra money that is my order tracking number ************** and still i can't receive my order
I bought a brand new laptop for my son's birthday, and it arrived defected, dead battery. I returned it back hoping to get a replacement, refund or at least warranty repairs. I was denied refund because the package the laptop was returned in wasn't the original, my bad. But even replacement was denied, and so it was taken for repair. A week goes by, no feedback, no status. The supplier doesn't seem to accept my communication request. Souq gives a long timeframe for repairs, 14 working days. I have to wait till end of the month and see, but will never buy expensive electronics ever again from Souq. They're good for small sports goods & kitchenware, but not electronics. No laptops, tablets, smart phones, smart TV etc
Answer: They are not allowing to open the consignment and will ask if any non-conformance you contact SOUQ customer service and they will refund. But remember refund is a hell process and finally you will say go to hell i no need any thing. Like i did

Answer: Do not. You are more than likely to not get a warranty with your purchase. Even if the phone is broken from manufacturers side they will not refund your money. I used to buy from them all the time. The last time I decided to buy wifi extenders, I brought 3. One of them blew up as soon as I plugged it in. I explained this to them, first they accused me of using it wrong (it's an extender you are supposed to plug it into a wall socket - I had set up the previous 2 the same way). Then they tried to claim they won't take it back because I opened it... Illogical stupid excuses for why they wouldn't refund my money. They refused even to exchange it. That was this time last year and since then I've never ordered from them again.
Answer: Not at all. Its an auctioned product which i got, which was not working and already expired one. You will not get warranty for that, if you need to confirm this, just take the serial number of mobile and go to apple store. Please dont ve cheated.
