I was worried after reading other reviews that the Nintendo Switch I ordered would never arrive. It did, but took six weeks to get from China to Oregon, just in time for my daughter's birthday. Tracking only available until item arrived in US, so the shipping method somewhat sketchy. The switch works fine and got it for a decent price.
I ordered a couple of things before, everything was not bad. Now I ordered a phone from them. I've been waiting for him for three months. They deferred as best they could, promised to send in a week, two months. About 2 weeks ago, they said they had sent it. Track number doesn't work. I haven't received the phone yet. I just began to hate them. If your nerves and patience are dear to you, do not order anything from them. The mail is very hard to answer., Deceive. Rare scum
Terrible. Ordered a phone, one month later, no sign of it, no response from company. They have disabled the "package not received" form on their web site, lol -- that tells you all you need to know. Am having to reverse the payment on my credit card. For 20 Euros more I could have got the same phone overnight from my phone provider here at home! Nightmare, avoid at all costs, you have been warned.
Asked for a refund minutes after placing the order. No answer except to say it was processing and about to be shipped. And now, 27 days later, after numerous emails and attempts to phone them, there is an "unexpected" delay. Thieves!
Made purchase and had to badger them to cancel it and get a refund. Then got an email from an "anonymous" person telling me they had my password and to pay them or else. It happened to be the Password i used for this company, didn't use it anywhere else. Not making nay accusations, You reach your own conclusions.
Stay away
Do not use this company! Load of crap! 3 weeks ago paid for Iphone11 as Christmas present for my daughter, keep sending me fake tracking number and automated reply's "our logistic department will contact the courier company for your order delivery issue". One off business
It has been 98 days since I ordered a Nintendo Switch (which was listed as 'in stock') and I have not received it. Support will string you along for a few weeks with canned response emails, and then they ignore you. I also submitted an RMA case online and it was closed immediately, they told me to contact their support team (who are unresponsive).
Complete joke of a company.
I ordered headphones from them, they were sent back, eGlobal has ignored all attempts to contact them, kept the headphones, and kept my 250 euros. They're thieves and there's no recourse as they're based in Hong Kong.
I am extremely sorry that I didn't read the warnings from here regarding E-global. I ordered a phone from the a couple of weeks ago. Now, I am waiting to get my Phone from them. They sent me wrong tracking number(from DHL saying they didn't receive a oriduct yet) and are not responding when I want to cancel my order. I paid with Paypal and choose insured shipping method. How can I get out of this mess? Any help is appreciated.
I bought an audio headphone on that website. Customer service is a fraud. They charge 40 euros to return your purchase if it's not covered by the guarantee. It's almost a scam. Don't buy anything valuable on that website, it's a scam!
Do not at all think about buying from this company, they delivered a broken camera, did not assume any responsibility, tricked me into sending it back, kept it and now I have no money, no camera.
BANDIDS - they should be shut down!
They don't reply to emails or support tickets. Purchased a phone Sunday and it is Thursday now and all I can see is processing. No emails to say it has been dispatched and stuff.
This is my second purchase from them and very disappointed. Paid with CC so will wait until tomorrow before trying to claim with the CC company.
This company has a 14 day returns policy, except they don't refund your money! The phone was brand new, but the screen wouldn't lock during a call, so all buttons got pressed accidentally and it was impossible to keep talking. Their tech tells me its completely fine, so it is not possible to handle it as a repair. Then they state your item has scratches and it can't be refunded either... but it had no scratches when I sent it and, THEY SENT FOTOS OF DIFFERENT SCRATCHES, DIFFERENT MOBILES! They are just trying to deceive customers! This has been going on for months, and I want my money back. Do not buy from this store.
Completely dishonest. Products are shipped from overseas and shipping is guaranteed to take at least 1 month. They are extremely unresponsive. Buy your products elsewhere and save the headache.
They dropped my camera's box into a vinyl DHL couriers bag with no packing material. Of course it arrived broken. I can't get a refund. They say I should've purchased insurance. Who buys insurance for the shipping? Neither DHL nor EGC will take responsibility. I thought I was saving $50 on a camera but ended up just throwing away the cash. So now I have a $300 paperweight. A dented up and expensive paperweight
This place is a total scam - I've been receiving automated updates saying "We apologise for the delay, we are following up your order to get it delivered to you as soon as possible." for 30 days straight, and then silence. Package never got delivered, I wrote them a bunch of emails asking for the status and then for a refund - none of them have been answered. I tried to request a refund, but the link on the website saying "Request refund" just redirects to a home page. To treat their customer like this is a complete disgrace
I put a check the price on some product, once the price product dropped, i placed my order, got confirmation my money was accepted and taken. 2 days later they wrote me to cancel my order on the fallacious pretext their stock were damaged and they couldnt say when i could received the product. Inviting me to reorder on their website, I checked the website and the product was again in stock with 22 units but with the older price. Clearly a fake cancellation excuse to refuse their own discount.
Not feeling too coherent as I am currently fuming so I'll sum up my experience in bullet points for you:
+Product was slightly cheaper on this site compared to amazon and other online retailers. So, rationally, I placed my order.
+Shipping time was painstakingly longer than what was promised.
+When the product arrived it was obviously faulty.
+I sent it back and asked them to honour their repairs policy
+got a reply saying how the product was fine and that they were returning it (I therefore had to pay for the process)
+When the bloody product arrived in the post a few minutes ago it was STILL FAULTY.
Stay away from this site if you wish to keep your stress levels to a minimum.
A little over a year ago I bought a Samsung Tab Pro-S. Cheap and guickly delivered. Alas a faulty product. After nine months it broke down. After sending it to eGlobal Central, it took them more than six weeks to come to the conclusion that nothing was wrong with it. It took some time to convince them to send it back for free. The tablet worked indeed but only for two months and then it broke down again. Now they stated that the warranty was no longer valid as more than a year had passed (only a few weeks). That is not fair and not in line with (Dutch) consumers' law. I informed them about that but they only replied "we are sorry that we provide a 12 months warranty and as your order was placed on the 2017-01-25, it is now out of our warranty."
Bad product, way too short warranty and very bad service!
I wanted to buy a Sony RX100M2 camera. On Amazon it was 550$, and here it was 370$. Scared by bad reviews, I also bought "shipping insurance". That seems to have also made the shipping much faster, as it was delivered from Hong Kong to North Carolina in 3 days. The camera came with a weird power plug (British?), but that did not matter to me as I have plenty of chargers for micro-USB. The camera looks and works normally, as a new camera should.
Answer: Please try to cancel it. You won't be able to get a refund
Answer: Stay away from eGlobal Central. They send defective items and look for subterfuges (or plain lies) for refusing refund.
Answer: This company used to be called eGlobal Digital Camera's. They have since then closed and started up as eGlobal Central. I didn't realise this until I started doing searches on them. My understanding, from the searches i have done and the broken product i received from eGlobal Central, is that they are based in Hong Kong, their customer service basically sends you repeated messages of them not being liable for any fault (i. E. lack of delivery, broken item, wrong item, etc). So it is luck of the draw getting the right item and fingers crossed you don't have to contact their customer service EVER!.
Answer: This is a personal review. Not in any way representing the company eGlobal.
eGlobalCentral has a rating of 1.8 stars from 56 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with eGlobalCentral most frequently mention and customer service. eGlobalCentral ranks 759th among Electronics sites.
