I cancelled online during the trial. They are still tying to charge me and will not cancel.
Thank god I cancelled my card and blocked all charges in time. They will never get a penny from me but tried to scam me and charge my account. Still showing it as "active". So far I contacted the attorney general and BBB. Will continue on until inactive.
I opened an account and when I wanted to cancel the subscription online, it didn't work. I went to the billing account click on "Cancel my subscription" and got a message "Sorry, We are unable to complete
Your request online. Chat with a representative". The chat stopped when I explained that I wanted to cancel.
Great concept for ease of use however I was ultimately unable to get it to work.
I had Eve D. Trying to get it to work for me over a few days but ultimately we were unable to get it to work on my end. If all the customer service reps are as helpful as her it would make life much easier.

Really good experience with eFax, needed to send some faxes but now no longer needed. Customer service were very friendly and tried some discounts to keep me as a customer but unfortunately i declined as not needed.

This company will not CANCEL your service and continues to charge your credit card each year. Worst service ever and most expensive efax system. Do not use this service. Look at their reviews and most say the same thing, they continue to charge your credit card even after cancelled.

I forgot to cancel within the trial period, only to discover that I was billed for two months even though I cancelled before the end of the first paid month. I signed up in the middle of June and they backdated it to June1. No 30 day free trial here. I cancelled August 9 and they insisted that I pay for two months. One fax cost $34. Should have read the reviews!
I was trying to review a 6 page Fax from an employer pertaining to FMLA medical leave and could only see the first page. I had the employer sent the fax three times and each time same issue. I emailed eFAX and within minutes, truly minutes my issue was resolved. Their customer service is TOP notch. No question about it.
Good, robust service from efax. It was a shame i couldn't cancel it without ringing them up. Not cancel option of the website. When I did cancel I spoke with a very friendly customer service guy working from home (John B). Very helpful and completed my request efficiently.

I used this service for a few years. I needed to cancel due to pricing. I was billed $169 for a year. I tried to cancel the day after it went through and was told there would be no refund. I sent 0 faxes for the past year but received multiple spam faxes. I was able to get through to a supervisor who said he could put in for a refund but no guarantee. Thankfully the refund was applied. I would never use them again or recommend them. Definitely look around. There are plenty of other companies that offer similar services that are cheaper.
In my experience, eFax sends faxes slowly, sends confirmations slowly, and has online and phone support designed to keep you away. EFax Messenger software is confusing, ugly, and difficult to use. Really, eFax is a big disappointment. It has some value, but overall it is slow and difficult and you can't easily get help. Worst phone tree I've ever encountered. Their FAQs are wholly inadequate.
I called for a copy of a missing invoice and spoke to Diana M. Who was extremely helpful - I received the copy while I was still on the phone to her and she was very friendly and patient waiting for it to come through to me.
I called efax on today 3/25/17 to cancel my account which I did not have an option to do online. My card was charged on 3-22-17 I asked for a refund of my remaining days. I was told I would not be able to receive a refund. When asked why, I was told it was written in the terms and conditions. I explained I haven't used my account in over 1year, I was told that I have been receiving fax on a monthly basis. I explained I believed efax sold my number to a third party; reason being the faxes that came through were advertisement offers. The only reason I purchased this fax service was for work related documents. This is bad business practice and I understand with technology evolving it's hard for fax services to thrive; but stealing people's hard earned money is not the way. Shame on you efax... To make it really bad, I would have resumed my account in the next 6 months but now forget it. Scan/Email or pic messages works just fine and it's free.
No Fax machine - get an EFAX account! - My landline went dead for some reason and I couldn't wait for AT&T to come fix it... so I decided to open an efax account. This is a great service. You can do everything by email and it stores copies of the faxes for you. The best part is that they give you a fax number with area code of your choice.
Signed up for a day, never used it canceled the next day. Was charged somehow from 2 separate emails, so 2 accounts. Was still being charged 2 months later. Called and they did nothing about it.

The process to sign up for free fax was misleading, thinking I was doing that I ended up with their monthly pay for service, ~$16/month plus 10/activation. They will not, I repeat NOT refund once you figure this out. If you have to use your CC to start the service then don't, its not the free service.
This was a terrible place to sign up to send Faxes. I sent 2 faxes during my 2 week free trial and was charged. Also the next fax I tried to send was never received. Next time I will go somewhere else to send a fax or just start paying for Send2fax much better service.
Years back I had Maxemail for fax service. EFax purchased Maxemail and I could no longer send or receive faxes that was June of 2016. Last Saturday Feb 10,2018 eFax took money out of my account Maxemail had on file. I called eFax customer service and it was a complete scam. They told me they would cancel my account, but would not refund the money, even though I never authorized eFax to take funds nor did I ever use their service. The customer service rep said it is like television service, just because you don't turn your TV on doesn't mean you don't have to pay for television service. I tried to explain I didn't order eFax service, but he didn't care. He told me I would need to call corporate for a refund, but wouldn't give me their phone number. EFax is a complete scam and should be investigated for fraud.
myfax.com canceled my account and deleted all my faxes for $1.50! No kidding (a charge back that I DI NOT INITIATE and they refuse to show me any paperwork).
I have been using myfax.com (with monthly automatic charge) since July 2014. $10.00 per month automatically charged to my business Visa (thru Capital One) on the 20th of each month. Oct. 20th, 2015 an e-mail informs me that the c/c on file was rejected. It happen again. This month - They have screwed up and charge someone else card. That someone file a charge back of $1.50 and they cancelled my account without warning. Customer service Jerome after spending 1 hour on the phone with my c/c company telling him that there was nothing wrong with my card STILL has failed to help me, but suggested that I get someone SMART at the credit card company to fix it! Meanwhile they have deleted all my stored faxes! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I signed up for a contract and have been overbilled every month since we signed the contract. Not by a little, nearly double our contract price. This has been month 5 and over 20 emails trying to get refunded the overage and nothing. Customer service is terrible. Do not use them.
Signed up for the "free" 10 day trial. Sent a test fax and was charged $10. Apparently they have a spend down thing where they automatically charge your card a minimum of $10 when you fax to cover any overages you may have at the end of the month. This was day 2 of free 10 day trial at the charge appeared... so I called to cancel... have to cancel by chat recording said. Took me 20 minutes to cancel on chat because of all the upselling they tried to do. Ugh..

We do not currently offer a 10 day trial but do offer a 14 day free trial of our eFax "Plus" plan consisting of a set number of pages or billed duration pages per cycle as indicated in the customer agreement.
