The product is very good and did exactly what I needed it to do. Minimal effort to use and easy to understand. I needed to contact them and spoke with Stefan who handled my query efficiently and quickly - again minimal effort. He was polite and understood precisely what was needed to resolve the query.
Unfortunately my immediate need for this product is very low, but if this changed I will come back to this Company without hesitation.

I wish I could give this "company" negative stars! I also wish I'd been smart enough to look at these reviews before I signed up with them. For starters, their "service" DOES NOT WORK. No matter how many pages you are supposed to receive, you only get ONE, and it's unreadable. Completely WORTHLESS.

On top of that, it's damn near impossible to cancel. Try calling "customer service" - you will be put on hold FOREVER. Any person you wind up talking to has the thickest accent ever, if you know what I mean. No one answers emails. To say this company is fraudulent is the understatement of the century.

I am disputing the charge through my bank, and I cancelled my current card and am getting a new one. No way is this going to happen again!

STAY AWAY from these rip-off artists! Unbelievably immoral, evil, and wrong!

Not quite a customer yet... Started the process over a month ago and their acknowledging email read like they had started the porting process. Following up three weeks later, was told: "we're having some issues with porting that was submitted online." They acknowledged that this was their problem and said they would rush the porting. Following up two weeks later, I was just told they "decided to cancel the rush." I'm a small business that chose to move to IP phones and this sort of faxing... and cannot cancel the AT&T account until efax finishes the porting... This is getting really expensive for me.

Will not cancel an account when asked to, and will keep billing you until you figure it out. Upon complaining, you will be told (again) that the account is now effectively cancelled, but no refund is possible. AVOID.

I took this service around a year back and trying to cancel my subscription after 5-6 months but I am not able to as I have to call them but the given international number is not responsive. Since then I am being changed each moth against my will.

I wish if I could file a case against them.

I spoke with Mandip today regarding an overcharge on my fax bill. She was empathetic and understanding, she looked into my records and found the discrepancy and took care of it immediately. Mandip provided very professional service, thank you.

They acknowledged receipt of my intent to cancel, but refused to honor it and process a refund. They insisted that I call. I try to call and finally hung up after I had to wait over 45 minutes. Rude customer service. Chat kept transferring me. Phone agent (finally waited to get thru) hung up on me. Even after all of this they refuse to refund.

Five minutes to set up a trial account, nearly an hour to cancel it. The guy who wrote the chat bot should be fired. Entering the phone number used to sign up didn't work using 00XX or +XX just ended up with the bot reiterating I needed a valid phone number. To keep the story short I had to make up a US phone number to talk to a real person and cancel my account, because, apparently my real phone number is not valid. Would not recommend. I'm only 46 and retired since 2001 because "I'm good with computers" whatever that means. Can't wait for the confirmation email that my account is closed.

Hello Gigi S. This is not the experience that we wish you to have. Cancellation can be completed anytime via your website account. In regards to our chatbot, it will take Space as an extra character so if your account phone number does not have spaces on its phone number, it will not be able to reference it to your account. Very good service
September 10, 2020

I am using the service for many years now and I was never disappointed. Works really good comparing to other services I was trying and the support team is so far the best I had to deal it by now. They offer very fast resolution all the time and I think they are very well trained. I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

This company is a SCAM
September 8, 2013

This company is a SCAM. I ordered the 30-day trial. It did not work and I wrote to cancel immediately. The company replied that I was required to call. Two subsequent times I attempted to call and cancel but was told "systems were down." They continue to charge my credit card for a service I never was able to use and do not want.

EFax purchase my old provider of e-faxing Fax87 and proceeded to charge me much higher annual rate without any notification before or after the transaction. When I saw the charge on my credit card a week later, and called to cancel, they would only cancel the service, without refunding any money.

Total fraud, refuses to honor 30 day trials. You will be charged right away and good luck getting a refund. J2 Communications tries to hide in the better business bureau rating by using spaces in their name:

Do not deal with company.
Won't stop charging your credit card even after you email them to stop your subscription.
They'll reply an email to you to tell you to call a number which is always on hold.
With good subscription companies, you can simply cancel it usaually through an online dashboard with one click
The bad ones make it very difficult, this company is the worst one.

Read other review online who got on the phone with their support,
"When you go to cancel, the customer support also play a ton of word games. In my case,
It got so ridiculous that they claimed they didn't understand such basic statements as "cancel my account immediately!" and "Cancel my account today!".

Like others, I eventually had to get my bank to block E-Fax from making any charges against my card."

I'm now filing chargeback for the these payments.

I thought this may be usefull and signed for the trial. I subsequently cancelled my subscription but they continue to take money from my account regardless of the calls or emails I have sent. I have now had to close my account to ensure that they get no more. If you search for efax fraud on the net you'll get thousands of hits. Avoid this site like the plague.

It seemed like a simple thing to have a 14 day trial and then cancel (I only needed to send one fax). But this is clearly how they make money... I canceled the subscription (or so I thought), only to have it show up on my credit card two weeks later. When I called the customer service to resolve the issue, they explained that you cannot cancel unless you speak to a representative (there was nothing about that when I cancelled online). The online cancellation was misleading, and designed to keep you from cancelling. Poorly done. I was able to contact a representative and it took about 15 minutes on the phone to receive a written confirmation (email) and verbal confirmation number. And I will not recommend or use efax in the future on principle.

Hello Tash. This is certainly not the experience we would want you to have. As a rule, accounts can be cancelled online. As per the Customer Agreement: You must contact us by chat, phone (323-817-3207), or email to cancel if you have an annual plan, multiple fax numbers, or an outstanding balance. For your security, you will need your eFax number and the last four digits of your card on file to verify your account before canceling. As service fees are non-refundable, the online cancellation typically closes the account at the end of the current billing cycle. If there is anything we can do to earn back your business or at least respect, please message us at socialsupport@efax.com.

Good Customer Service
December 2, 2020

This is the third time I am using eFax service.
It is easy to use and runs flawless.
Each time, I need eFax for several weeks and I discontinue when no longer needed, until the next time.
Today, I called Paul@ UK Customer Support, to discontinue the service.
Paul was very polite and the call was short and useful.
I won't hesitate to use eFax again.

Issues with Log in
October 11, 2022

I opened my efax account years ago for work. A co-worker took over the account, she changed the pin and updated the information with her credit card for our company as I moved into a new role. She has since left the company. Her CC on file and email are no longer valid and I can't get into the account due to the pin change. I have reached out to explain this to Efax of the issue. They keep telling me they can send an email to the email on file (which is no longer a working email) or I can give them the last 4 digits on the CC on file (which is no longer an open CC). I don't have the CC information and they will not help me. I have asked if they can look up the account and see that my CC was used to pay the bill for many years and use that as verification. They said no. Now my account will end up being closed because when they go to bill for our usage, the CC will be denied. I am trying to avoid having my account closed but they will not help me

Worst customer service ever. Manager admitted to me over phone that she doesnt care about BBB rating and online reviews, they have zero refund policy. Also admitted they removed cancellation option from website, forcing people to call, because it was too easy for people to cancel service.

Don't use this unless you want surprise charges on your credit card. They will charge you by the length of time it is to process the fax even though in the trial they market it as free 150 pages. The faxes I sent were incredibly slow and a week later I received multiple $10 fees charged on my credit card which was something I didnt approve, nor was I notified at the time of the transaction or via email. When speaking to the company, they wouldn't reverse the charges, but my bank has. Dont use this!
