Booked a car in Los Angeles and the agency Economy Bookings sent me to was a condo... the rental agency did not even exist! The car rental agency I used said I was the 5th or 6th person they had seen in a day who had been scammed by Economy. Bottom line... if you pay a deposit BEFORE you get the car... and the agency contact is in Eastern Europe... your rate is probably too good to be true. Total rubbish company... fought like the $#*!ens to get my deposit back. Beware!
Booked a car and insurance from economy booking for a vacation in Europe. When I reached the renter, he tried to force me to buy his insurance, and did some tricks to convince me to do so (claimed my card is not valid while actually charging me etc). After 4 hours (!) of negotiations he refused to rent the car. Wrote about it to Economybookings on the spot, the first not-automatic response came after 3(!) weeks. They refused to refund the insurance for the car. Will never use their service again. Never had issues with others (Rentalcars, Kayak etc). A quick internet search on the car renter showed me they treat many customers similarly. I really wonder why Economybooking ignores such incidents. In the end I wasted half a day, rented a car at the aiport at a double price, and Economybookking refuses to refund an insurance they never actually insured.
We had to cancel our vacation due to Covid not allowing travel. We were told that we CAN'T be refunded. They told us we can have a refund only. When we went to use the refund they only allow you to use $20 of that refund at a time. We would have to book 15 reservations to equal our refund. They are extremely hard to get ahold of and their customer service is horrible. I wish I could give them no starts!

I have had the worst experience of a rental car site. I had booked a reservation and finally I thought the price(290$) was very effordable and reasonable compared to all other sites. I got my vehicle details and I went to the thrift agency and the person gave me an "extra" quote of (680$). Not only fooled by the Economy bookings website price, I also got stood up with this wuote at the airport. The person just told me to cancel it, if you can't pay. I cancelled my booking and requested "Thrift" for a refund and they were happy to refund the money. And then I mailed "Economy booking" the very next day and got a reply after 11days and stating about the T&C. I didn't want to cancel, I showed up at the airport and got fooled with the additional price. And also the contact number on the website is completely out of service I guess.

Uneventful! Picked it up, drove it to the hobe sound area, came back and turned it in. Bryan, the young man who did the paperwork was very polite and professional. The whole experience was good. Nice clean car, loved it!
Ust had the best car rental experience at EconomyBookings in Bristol, O'hare Airport! The staff members were so nice and I was on the road in minutes. When I returned it 5 days later, they remembered me and asked me about my trip. Such great energy there! And Khalim was so nice and helpful!

Economy booking is a ripoff Don't waste your money and time on this company because they lied about everything and will not give you a refund if you cancel this company need to be investigated and shut down. I made a reservation to get a rental car for Jamaica. They told me I have full coverage but when I checked on their reviews there were so many people saying they had to pay for insurance when they get to Jamaica so I immediately call Jamaica and they told me I will have to pay extra for US$480 after they told me I had full coverage they refund a part of my money to my credit card company and kept $152.96 for them self so I will have to dispute it with my credit card company to get the rest of my money back. This company is a total waste of time and money please please stay far from this company, because you will regret doing business with them. I wouldn't recommend this company to no one please stay far from this company at any cost.

Car and counter, check in, return done very well.
In my original booking on January 2,2021 I indicated the choice to have AAO. The system acknowledged the request but DID NOT PREVIEW, WARN OR ADD THE ADDITIONAL $$$ Amount in the estimate, or $323.00 charge. At Counter, very awkward, to add $226.00 about for 14 days. I could have secured other true price options within your Companies website. I should have been informed at least of the extra charge. Not ALL companies charge the extra amount, or at least, its declared in advance.
Please consider a courtesy adjustment on my first initial experience with Economy. Thank you,

I booked a rental car in Spain for £47.92.
When I arrived I was told that this rate required me to return the car with an EMPTY tank and that they would then charge me 40 to fill it and 121 for the fuel (A full tank cost me 55)!
The only way around it was to pay an additional 170 insurance. I chose the insurance option which required me to return the car with a FULL tank but they still charged me another 29.50 to refill an already full tank.
My 47.92 car cost me 221.42. A total ripoff.
I just got off the phone with Martin (ext 207), who had TERRIBLE customer service. I called to cancel my reservation due to circumstances beyond my control. Without asking for an explanation or apologizing, he simply told me that the car rental is non-refundable and then proceeded to get a bit snarky with me. There are a couple of issues here.
I have NEVER booked a car rental that was non-refundable. He said I clicked on a button stating such, and I'm sorry that I overlooked this, but apparently I did.
I have NEVER been on a call with a customer service representative with such terrible customer service. The company should be embarrassed.
Van was an excellent vehicle and the staff were both quick and helpful. The whole process was simplGreat service, top quality and spec rental van. A pleasure to drive a new vehicle versus the bangers some of the competition provide. Totally recommend
I booked a car through EconomyBookings.com website, they charged around 8 Euros as a down payment or insurance (I'm not sure). And when i went to car rental company (KEM - Cyprus) they coudn't find the booking on their system. I show them the booking and confermation email but they didn't cooperate and told me to contact the website, its not their problem and they can't do anything! I tried to call EconomyBookings many times, everytime they kept me on hold for long time and then hang up.

I had supper excellent experience with EconomyBookings. Wwhen I parked my car, walked to the door, and open the door. I was really supervise because there was a man standing and holding keys then said my name
After contracting a full insurance with economybookings, the company renting the car refuses to accept it and conditions me to take their own insurance in order to rent me the car. After a discussion with them, the hole thing is cancelled, as their insurance was three time more expensice than the one I had already contracted in the Economybookings site.
I am still waiting for a reply from Economybookings when I told them about the issue already three weeks ago and of course, no reply neither refund of my internet mayment.

We contacted the company many time to ask for a refund and we have no answer since July. We ordered a car but when we arrived at the front desk they didn't give us the car and they canceled the rental. They said we have to contact Economy booking for a reimbursement. Since this day, we have no answer and we lost money. Don't book here!

The customer service is terrible. I tried to move my booking and they canceled it. Now I am being charged the full amount. To avoid trouble, I tried to use my original booking. They won't let me use it now that its canceled. I am currently in duspute for the charge for services I was never provided. I recommended using a creditable business that is honest.

I booked using economy bookings and when I booked a car, it clearly told that I need not pay anything at the time of pickup.
It again sent a confirmation mail which said the same thing - nothing to pay at pickup of the car.
And then when I went to pick up the car, I had to pay 40% more as taxes at pick up. I called up the customer service and they said that in the coupon voucher in a small section at the corner, it is written that you may have to pay taxes at pickup.
Dhhh... it looks like those * at the end of commercials which look too good to be true.
Do not book using these, if you do, read each and every line of the items that get sent to you.
BTW, they are probably based in Latvia, so if you want to dispute, good luck with that:-)
I rented a car through Economy Booking and would never deal with this comoany again. When I arrived to pick up the car, the rental company advised that they accept only 'USA creidt cards' - mine is an international card accepted in every country in the world. When I contacted Economy Booking, I found their US telephone number had been cancelled, then realised the company is located in Latvia and has an office in Russia. It proved to be a bad combination for obtaining a reimbursement. There are too many good brokers and agencies that there is no reason to gamble on one such as this.
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
