Good broker for car hire. Normally best rates, easy to understand. Based in Eastern Europe but they have phones that get answered and staff are generally very helpful. Recommend!
I was a bit leery to use Economy, as I had never used them before, but the rate was great and I decided to take a leap of faith and booked the car. I was happy that I did. The car was new, and very clean, and I couldn't have gotten a better rate ( and I thoroughly comparison shopped). I will definitely check out Economy again when I need to rent a car.

We rented our car weeks in advance of our trip to PHX. When we got to the desk to get our car we were told there were no cars available for 2 hours. There must have been 4 families ahead of us that were told the same thing. No explanation as to why there were no cars even though we all had a reservation paid for in advance. The fellow at the desk was not helpful at all and told folks they could go look elsewhere for a rental if they wanted. Folks with small children were at their wits end. To travel to PHX expecting to get on your way and then be told nothing but wait for 2 hours to get a car is unacceptable service. Although the price was fair in todays situation, it should and could have been handled much better than it was. This was a Thrifty Car Rental at PHX airport May 20 till June 4. A partial refund would be the way to go for this situation. Felt we were in a Seinfeld episode where they can take your reservation, but don't have have a car for you.

Booked a car in May 2022 for 2 weeks in Portugal and paid extra for full cover insurance. When I returned the car there was a small damage that I paid to the local car rental company. Next day I informed EconomyBookings to get the full cover insurance reimbursed, but no response. I did contact EconomyBookings several times more, but now more than 10 days later I still did not receive any response of EconomyBookings. They just do not deliver in their insurance and they do not respond to any message: do not hire any car from them!

According to what I read, if I canceled 48 hours before the actual pick up I would be refunded in full. It was not refunded in full and I canceled almost a week ahead of time. I've called to no avail. I've sent several emails requesting the rest of my refund and there has been no response thus far.

Like other booking sites but cheaper why not? My experience was a good one, first time I used EconomyBookings but will definitely use you in the future..
The gentleman who was processing my rental was very polite and helpful, made the process super quick and easy. He made a great suggestion thanks to which I got an upgrade to a new and super nice hybrid Toyota and ended up saving a bunch of money on gas.

Very easy to navigate. The negative is the insurance. I opted out and the third party vendor kept bugging me to get the insurance. I have own insurance.

This company is very difficult to deal with. They don't look after Australians. Their call centre is outside Australia- therefore time zones are different and are unknown- it is hit and miss.
They don't offer free cancelations as do other companies if this is a reasonable period before the booking. I tried to change a booking and was charged about US$80. There is also and international fee on your card. Avoid using them is my advice.

Usually very careful of where I book from. But I was on a time crunch and needed a car last min. I had hardly any wait the customer service rep was very patient and great with me. Drop off was even better! Thank you

They wrote that the car rental agency was at the airport, but in practice it was far away. When we arrived at the car rental agency late due to this lie and due to flight delay, we were told that the vehicle had already been rented to another customer.
They didn't agree to give us a refund and neither did voucher.

Easy to use on line booking with reasonable cost for car rentals. Rental Car company booked provided quick service with short wait lines and speedy return.
I had never heard of EconomyBookings prior to my recent four week trip to Hawaii. I tried them and booked a 10 day rental for Maui, by far they had the best price. I was satisfied with the rental and booked my second week in Oahu, also the best price and also very satisfied. Yesterday I booked my final week on the Big Island And flew into Kona today, picking up the rental car. Again very satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone and will use them again when I search for future rental cars

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
