Rent a vehicle

Don't ever do a mistake that I did.
I have rent a vehicle with economy booking but there is multiple different company involved in this website if you have any issue with any of those companies that you rent the vehicle,,
Economy booking take a deposit as soon as you book which is €130 you don't even get it back I try to talk to them about the issue that I had they were so rude and hang up the phone on me they refuse to refund the deposit.
Stay away save your money.

I have a friend who lives locally it is well know that in Florida that the reputation of these "cheaper" hire companies is terrible, most of the time you will find additional fees such as them insisting you use their CDW insurance, poor quality cars, car you hired switched to a wreck, long queues, uncaring customer service, dodgy neighbourhoods to collect cars. A lot of these places have criminal associations so don't think you can argue your way to get what you booked, do yourself a favour stick to on airport reputable dealers like Hertz and Avis etc

The best!

At arrival in SFO we had a very long wait -despite at least 6 counters open and operating. The rest was very fine. I got an upgrade (a larger car) and everything else run very smoothly, includoing drop off at SFO airport.
Thanks for the good service, good car and good price!

Warning This Company is a scam I was charged for a Rental car Booking and was stranded at the airport. The rental car company didn't even have a shuttle to pick me Up. They still charged my credit card for services and insurance they never provided.

They should be investigated and shut down by Consumer protective services. I was stranded at the airport for over three hours trying to get an Uber. Sometimes It best to go with a proven company they are cheaper because in the end they will not provide you with the service you paid for. And still charge you. Buyer beware you have been warned

I made on online car reservation with EconomyBookings.com in advance of my trip to Cancun. In order to avoid problems with insurance coverage, I purchased "Full Coverage" insurance at the time of booking. When I arrived at the America Car Rental desk, I was immediately told that they did not recognize the "Full Coverage" policy and that I would need to purchase additional insurance for $600usd for my 14-day rental. After 2 hours of arguing the point, America Car Rental reduced the price to $325usd. They had me over the barrel. I had to either pay for their insurance or walk away from my rental with no refund and having to find another car from another rental. I made a complaint to EcomonyBooking.com. A little over a week later I got an email telling me that there was nothing that they would be willing to do about this. I replied with another email to say that I don't accept their decision and that at a minimum, I expected a refund for the "Full Coverage" insurance I purchased. I still have received no response, more than a week later. I then called their support line. I was told by the agent that a decision had been made and that if I didn't agree with it, I could wrote an email. I insisted that I be transferred to a manager, and that was refused. The agent was totally unwilling to assist me in escalating the case. This is a completely unsatisfactory experience. I encourage anyone who is planning to use this booking system to not do that. Based on this awful experience, I will never use them again. Period.

I had to cancel due to changes in travel. I cancelled and they have not refunded my money. What the heck? I was on hold for 87 minutes before I hung up.

Car was ok being functional but a bit tired with 62K KM's on the clock which resulted with it being a bit tired.
Loved the pick up where they were waiting at the Terminal exit with iur name on a board. Normally, have to go look about or have to phone.

Economy Booking is ok - Rental company Not ok

When I go to pick the car… Dollar/thrisfty was not the care I select or similar…. Was another car, more small. Also, add me an insurance that is not mandatory, and needed to speak manager. Try to resolve the same night, but no manager available at that hour. Go next day to airport (spending time and gas from vacation) to resolve the issue, the manager was very kind - Amadeus - but have some tech issues, and say that I can go the same day of return.

Go the same day to return, and almost one hour to resolve the issue… at first that was not possible, that the other manager is not there working at that time, treat me with no polite and mean. Lucky have the number of the manager that I talk that day, he call them and then resolve the issue. But the worst part, since I was like almost an hour, I miss my flight, :( , first and worst experience ever. Needed to resolve what to do, since I was in a list of stand by, and not garantee to enter in the airplane. Needed to resolve who can talk to pick me up, where to stay and eat. I never felt so down and humiliate, since they treat me like I was wrong, like a child, and I always treating nice and kind to others. :(

Using Economy bookings for my car rental in Portugal was very simple for me to use. When we got to counter for EuropCar, at the Lisbon airport, all we had to do was put input our card to charge for incidentals and we were on our way. There was some initial confusion with our reservation from those working the counter because we were automatically upgraded and all the coverages were automatically applied. I highly recommend using this service going forward.

Do not EVER rent from this company

One star is too good for them! I rented from the Orlando location for to spend a week one hour away in Cocoa FL. I had a flat tire and was told that there would be a $185 fee to replace the tire, or I could drive two hours at my own time and expense to pick up a different car.

Don't purchase full coverage

Purchased full coverage, had an accident, have sent in all the paperwork, this still hasn't been sorted 2 months later, would not reccomend other to buy full coverage policy. There is no number to call or to esclate to.

Booking a car in Catania Sicily with the question that I could return the car at 6 am. I received the confimation with Surprice cars rental and a discription how to reach this agency from the airport. But after 1hour walking around there and asking where this agency was we found some one with a transporter who brought us 5km ftom the airport at an industrial terren where nobody was. We were afraid and found out that Surprice cars was now Numberone. They asked 36 euros extra because we were to late and didn't accept to return the car at 6 pm. We refused and went back to the airport and rented a car at another acency... for the same price as booking. Never again with booking as they offer partners without knowing who are where they are. Now waiting if they will return my advance payment but this it not sure as they write. Better booking yourself directly at the airport, also there you find price offers!

As i came to the car rental desk in the airport, it was empty and unmanned, just a sign saying to call a certain number if you have a reservation.
Upon calling, i was told to go and wait, at their closed office in the car park adjacent to the terminal and wait 10 minutes for a shuttle to pick me up, after not finding it for a while and calling them again, in the end i found it, another person was waiting there as well and then another one arrived.
We were waiting for about 30-40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive, then i was transferred, while i was in their office, another customer had just returned his car, (probably they let us all wait on purpose, so as to have the car available for 1 of us).
I was then offered, either a 9 seater car, which is indeed a higher class car, but is much more expensive in fuel, and harder to drive in a foreign country as its bigger, (a lorry is also a higher class...), or that uncleaned car both from inside and outside, that had just been returned, and even cleaned from the previous user possible covid-19.
I told them that this is not what I had booked, not a 9 seater and not a dirty car.
However, having no choice, I agreed to use the dirty car (better than walking).
What i don't understand is, if your answer is that you don't have any information or access about the car hire companies actions, then why do you rent out cars at all? Leave it to them to deal with it? Are you only here to do the easy bit of taking the payment but not here to help your customers who trusted you to be on their side and at least give what you have promised?

Booked a car in arizona for vacation. Good price,, but that is where the positive ends. We arrive in phoenix and find out there terminal is not located at airport. We walked for about a mile to get to place where there shuttle is suppose to pick us up. Others waiting as well,,, no show for hours,,,, it took me1 hour to finaly get a hold of someone. They said no more shuttles are running and they did not know why. I told them i would take a uber or lyft to where car is located. They said it was all closed down,,,,, told me to rent from someone else and wont refund my money becasue i did not cancel with a 48 hour notice,,, still have me money

Horrid service.

On the 10th of July 2022 I was about to make a booking online for a car hire for a period of 5 days. Prior to the final booking online i made a phone call to clarify an enquiry in reference to credit cards. What happened next while may seem an exaggeration but i happen to get in contact with a representative that provided me with the worst customer service i have ever experienced.
Tip of the iceberg, the representative didnt introduce herself and the way she answered my inquiries was condescending and demeaning to say the least; at one point she assertively stated " if you listened to what i said before..." when i was just clarifying the information- was so taken back that i was processing what happened for a few seconds.
End of the conversation while i thanked her nonetheless her reply was (yup...) and ended the phone call.

I personally believe that your call representative are the initial reflection of a company and depict the customer equity and values that a company holds. From what I experienced I was lost anymotivation to conduct my business with economy bookings

WILL NOT GIVE A REFUND! Don't book with them

I booked a rental car, my flight got cancelled but my wife went to go pick up the rental car in my place. When she arrived, they would not give her the car as it was not in her name. (I had completed prepaid for the entire 6-day rental). She called customer support, but they were closed and had to get a hotel until they opened. When she called back in the morning, they told her because the rental had already started, they could not refund her, to book another 6-day rental, and submit a request to *******@bookinggroup.com, which she did. Paid again, and submitted the details. They just replied with they cannot refund the original booking. OMG. Just awful.
