I can't can't say that about other rental companies. The bill is detailed and with no hidden fees that are added after you've agreed to a price. Their fleet of cars and SUVs have always met my needs with the newest vehicles.

When i reached for car pickup, fox charged me extra $50 for no reason. It was 11 at night so I had to pay extra money. I informed abt this to economybookings.com and they said that they will check with fox and get back to me in 21 days. It's been more than 2 months and they didn't get back to me despite of following up many times. So please beware of such fraud company
My first time ever, being charged more than I was quoted. Extremely upset as i tried to email economy bookings but did not get a response.
We were quoted ******* yen for a 5 day car rental of a Nissan X Trail. When we arrived at Nissan Rent A Car, they charged us ******* yen. They said that we have to check with economybookings and that the price is correct. If we want the car, we have to pay this amount. Also, we were supposed to have snow tyres included in the price, but the company said there's no snow tyres for the car we booked.
We even paid a deposit of 97 euros, which meant that we were overcharged approximately ******* yen (about half the initial quote of *******).
Never use economy bookings if you don't want to be scammed. I rented another car from rentalcars.com for the 2nd half of my holiday and the price was exactly as quoted.
I can recommend and will use I in the future. It is okay for me to familiar with any car as I always hire where ever I go. But you should help to new hirer. And there was a some damaged in the rear body. There is no record of the car condition. I have to take photos for my records.
We hired for pickup and drop off at LAX. Didn't think about a GPS but received an offer for one before we picked the car up... It was indispensable with the 1500 mile trip we had planned. Car was great, service was great. Glitch with billing was addressed quickly and to our complete satisfaction.
I happen to save myself from their fraud, they will present you one price but as you get to the checkout page you won't notice the price change and they will charge you a different price. So be very careful. Don't fall for all the good reviews you see here, I wouldn't be surprised if these are fake reviews from Economy Bookings themselves.
EconomyBookings also in LAX have a kiosk where you can quickly receive details about where your car is and avoid long delays waiting in a line up? Alamo seems to be one of few who seem to get when you arrive in town you don't want to waste time waiting for your rental car.

When I picked up the car at Seville Airport, I was confronted with another €40 for out of office hours payment and another €40 for return location (Malaga) being different then pick up.
Both these details (pickup time and return location) had been filled in at their site to get a qoute, but only after having made the payment in the confirmation details, somewhere between the lines they start to speak about these extra cost.
Very bad... after you rent the car online, you get the papers that tell you that you need to Pay more. We needed to pay around 290 euros more, or 1100 for insurance. On the paper was said. With pickup 0.00 has to be payed, but it was fake and did not get our money refunded

We rented a car for our trip to Ecuador. When we arrived, no car and no contact. We texted, called, and waited for over an hour. The next day when someone finally texted us, the car we had reserved was not available at their company and neither was a comparable car. We had to pay more to rent from another company, did not get our deposit back, did not get any response from the company when we sent emails detailing our experience, and would not recommend using this service. They use subcontractors that support several difference rental companies and the communication leaves a lot to be desired.

A wonderful system that won me over immediately with its simplicity and speed of work. To work, I needed a system where I could keep my customer base, as well as the necessary accounting documents. Simple business really lives up to its name.
This looks very much like a scam, attract people in with cheap prices and then advise people to cancel when you phone them to check the details. Then they tell you, even though you have added Cancel Protection, the fee for this is non-refundable, how crazy is that? I would advise to avoid this company at all costs. Very rude and arrogant staff when you phone or email them.
Advertised price was $29.95 which was cheaper than the average from other sites of $43. I rented the car with no options and received a receipt confirmation for $54. I called to ask about the discrepancy and they referred me to the tiny print below the stated $29.95 that said $54. I had missed the tiny print and would have been better off going with the $43 average. Be careful of the tiny print from this company. I will never use them again!
These are scammers. They charged me the full amount, and I was denied a car rental in Italy. The pretext for this was the absence of an "international driving permit", which was the first time I was being asked while renting a car anywhere around the world. Economybookings.com will sell you cheaper car rental and you risk of not getting your car at all. Beware!

Very pleased with the service I received. I booked a Ford Fusion or like vehicle. I ended up in a Chevy Impala. Not sure if that was a like vehicle or not; but it felt like an upgrade. It was Southwest Airlines anniversary weekend so it took a about 30 min to reach the counter. Once there counter person was helpful and patient despite a line out the door
Cancelled my rental 2 weeks before and a month later still waiting for refund. Other car rental companies refund in 24 hours even if you cancel last minute. Called many times and when you push 2 for reservations, it hangs up on you.
I booked a car from Discount Car Rental in Montreal through economybookings.com. I found it had the best prices for me as an under 25 yo and it was so simple I was able to have it booked and sorted within 10 minutes. When we arrived at the car rental place they had everything ready and sorted for us. It was very helpful going through economy bookings :) definitely recommend

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts.
