Used Denver union station branch, staff very good and attentive. It seemed they did not have our car right away, they did not say it directly but everything resolved in half hour nicely while we had lunch nearby, so we did not mind
I tried to modify my booking online to change the car before picking it up in a couple of days and the website said the search results were out of date. I just finished my third attempt to call them and all 3 times, I was put on hold for 12 minutes before my call being dropped. They are impossible to get a hold of.
This was a great experience. I pre-paid which I rarely do and it was even better than paying at the rental car counter. There are no hidden fees etc. What you see; is what you get. Super easy convenient and super great rate!
Cheap booking but the company that I booked with charged me an extra $265 Euros because I wasnt aware I needed an international drivers license that would have cost me like $20 back home to get. A heads up would have been great.
Economy bookings doesn't confirm with the company if they have the car you're booking. I showed up to pick up my rental and the company (Thrifty) had no cars present despite my booking. They refused to accept the credit card I paid with at the desk - Economy Bookings had nothing upfront about this being an issue. Why I can pay with a card on their site but not have it accepted at the rental company is beyond me.
I then called to get reimbursed. As it was after pick up time, Economy Bookings and their incredibly rude staff member refused to refund me - even though I was there for my booking time and had to wait on Thrifty.
Thankfully I was booking in my own city, and Thrifty allowed me to switch the primary driver to a family member who could come with an accepted credit card.
The discount wasn't worth the hassle. Avoid Economy Bookings at all costs.

The whole process from booking online through to the collect and then drop off of the car was very efficient and stress free.
Car model was equal to what we had booked and we had a free choice of 7 cars to pick from when collecting.
Alamo team from start to finish were very professional and extremely helpful.

This place is a sham. If you rent from here after reading all the reviews, you deserve what you get. I pre-paid for a car back in April. Approx. 5 hours after I booked the car I fell and hurt my knee. I had to cancel my trip and the car. I immediately called Economy booking and left several phone and email messages.
Economy says 24/7 on one page and different hours on another. Scammers. When I finally spoke to someone about 8 hours later, they told me "NO REFUND, NOT EVEN IF YOUR DEAD."
I told them that I can give them a Doctor's note along with a reasonable amount of my deposit or they could hold the money for a future rental. Again, no way, you get no refund.
I appealed to my credit card company (Visa, Commenity Bank) and they had the same response as E/B. Thanks for nothing. Don't use them either.
Remember, if there is any possibility at all that you may have to cancel using this company you will lose your entire amount you paid. Use American companies.
Prior to COVID, I was with Enterprise for 10 years. When the pandemic began, I called looking for a longer term rental. They not only gave me zero discount, but would not even honor the business rate that I had been on for the last decade. I then called Economybookings and reached a manager who said Come on in. Well take care of you. And they did.
They wouldn't refund my money for a service I didn't even use! Their recording says no worries if you don't pick up your car we will take a small amount. They took all 800 and won't refund! Please find someone else to use. Try getting ahold of someone and they only respond by email on these issues and told me no refund! Terrible service and terrible experience

I booked an Avis rental car with this company at the San Francisco airport in October and confirmed that the rental company accepted debit cards at pick up, so I planned to use my Chime bank card and they declined it, causing me to have to rent as a walk-up to National (who happily accepted my card). My Chime card is not a pre-paid card, and is where my salary is deposited. Economy Bookings is now refusing to refund my payment (they were closed by the time I was at the airport to pick up my car, which was 6:30 p.m. on a weeknight - super inconvenient). I would run far, far away from this company, as they have no ethics (and now $192 of my cash - how do they even reconcile that in their books when it's money they received with no service given?). I'd give them no stars, if I could!

Purchased a full car insurance policy of Full Coverage when booked the rental car from Economy Bookings. Without knowing the reason, the sun visor was damaged and had to pay some Euro300 to the rental car company. Filed the claim report to Full Coverage which was declined.
It requested to provide so much information such as police report, bank statements evidencing payment to the rental car company, pictures of damaged sun visor and +++. More than 2 months later, received an email from the Full Coverage that '.Unfortunately damage to the car's interior is not covered by the Full Coverage policy. We refer to our Full Coverage Terms and Conditions:
10.3. What is not covered?
10.3.5. Cleaning costs or damage to the car's interior or mechanical parts...'
It never told me about this in detail when I booked. It is totally waste of money and time - never purchase an insurance policy from Full Coverage. You will get nothing from it. Attached said terms and conditions for your reference.

Horrible service, too long wait times to get to customer service, and they don't follow-up on your complaints/ claims even after you contact them several times. It seems they just tell you to email them and they ignore your emails. I am still waiting and calling to get information on a claim I submitted months ago.
Also my complaint had to do with the fact that their website robbed us of credit card information before giving us the final price of the car we booked and it wasn't even available within a reasonable time so we thought that the booking did not go through.
This company is more trouble than it is worth.

At the time of rental, I was advised to provide a cash only security deposit in the amount amount of $150 that I was told would not be returned if the car was damaged. I drove the car safely and it was returned with no damage. Apparently, I drove the car on the highway 140 km/h, which was the posted speed limit. Upon returning the car, I was told that they have a tracker and that I was only permitted to drive the car 110 km/h and would therefore forfeit my deposit. These people are thieves. Do not rent from them.

I accidentally left my personal vehicle and home keys in the rental vehicle during drop off. I didn't realize it until I arrived at home. I tried to get through to the rental center for three hours to request that they recover my keys from the vehicle before it went out again but could never get through. Even when I finally go a local phone number I kept getting bounced to a national call center. Very very frustrating. I finally had to return to the rental office. I explained the problem and the manager and staff very courteously assisted me by retrieving my keys in just under an hour. They had to search a large number of vehicles but did so without complaint. Thank you
The agent rejected my check in and I looked to them for help. Agents are rude and not helpful and refuse a refund. You email them and suppose to get a response. Fight them with your credit card company. Don't take a voucher. Horrible service. Good luck getting to a live person after your reservation is cancellled or done. They are holding $138 from me with no response. Thiefs!

They charge money for nothing. On my case the car would have been the SAME price, if I would have rented it directly from sixt. The only advantage economybookings.com gives you, is a useless "voucher". Even the people from sixt didn't know, what it should be good for.
So I paid 44€ for a "booking fee".
My recommendation is to check the prices for the cars directly on the websites from the common renting companys in the country you want to go.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
