One Switch is a fraud. Stay away from them! We have never even got the car.
Pick up has been scheduled and confirmed by One Switch outside their operating hours. We have learned it the hard way: upon the arrival at the airport, not being able to get to the final destination and making a bunch of ad hoc expenses (such as driving all over the place with uber)
The first thing next day in the morning, we have called One Switch to check if they are effectively open, confirm their address and car availability (all 3 confirmed to us on the phone)
However when we finally got to One Switch 'office' (which is a dirty garage with not a single indication that One Switch is actually loacted there) we have been informed that we are not going to get the car because of NO SHOW. If there was any no show - it was on the side of One Switch (they were closed at the time of agreed pick up and they knew it from the beginning)
What was even more outrageous, is that the same employee has told us, that there are cars available and that we can get the one which we have ordered, if we place a new booking and pay again.
We obviously refused.
There was no manager present to proceed with an escalation
When I have asked One Switch ('in cognito' employee who would not introduce herself), how can I raise a dispute or a claim against them, the employee told me that I am supposed to call the manager.
They do not even have any official way of raising disputes or claims at One Switch. After insisting to get anything on paper from One Switch I got a 'visit card' from a individual; however the card was not even stating One Switch as company.
The employee of One Switch also wanted to send us away without any document. I insisted on receiving a document from them, stating the reason why they reject to fulfill their contractual agreement.
The employee has printed one pager with the booking details and 'no show' stated at the top of the page. She did not bother to put any signature, date or a company stamp. She only did so after I told her I would not leave 'the office'.
I booked the car rental through this website, and paid in full. But was told that the car is unavailable

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
