This is an awful company to work with. The "pre-payment" you make when setting up your rental online (in my case it was $145) is not actually going toward the vehicle rental at all. Also when we got to the rental company there were other requirements (credit checks, return flight numbers) that we were unaware of for the driver. We canceled our transaction with economybooking.com and got a rental on our own there at the rental terminal. The cancellation has been a whole other set of issues. When you call this company you will get a person on the line but they won't be able to assist you. They will tell you "I'm sorry I can't help with refunds, you will have to call back in the middle of the night (U.S. Times) cause everyone who can "help" you with your refund, works from 9-6 European times. If you ask for a manager the person you are speaking with will either say that they are the manager or say "Umm sure" in an extremely rude tone (this rude attitude happened on every call made to them) and then just hang up. I would never ever suggest this company to anyone. So far we still have not got our refund (been over 3 weeks) and we were told it will take 30-45 BUSINESS days to get it, even though it only took 24hrs for them to pull it from our account. There is so much more about this awful experience that I could go into but this post is ridiculously long already. Bottom line... DONT DO IT! This company is absolutely the worst rental company to deal with. I wish I would have paid the extra $ through another company and saved myself the month long (at least) hassle of trying to communicate with economybookings.com. I will never ever use this company for anything again and I will definitely be spreading the word to anyone I hear talking about getting a rental car, even if it is a random stranger I hear talking about it on the street!

TAXES AND FEES NOT INCLUDED: I recently found EconomyBookings and gave it a try. Their price was great so I applied for a rental car. When I received the receipt I noticed the fine print stating that TAXES AND FEES were not included in the price. The price stated was only for the car rental agency charges. Taxes and airport fees are usually as much or more than car rentals so I sent an email to customer service for a detailed receipt and received no reply. I contacted the car rental agency directly and their quote was less and included all fees. I cancelled the EconomyBookings rental within 24 hours and received a confirmation but also that the refunded amount would be posted within 45 days. The "within" part is wrong as I received a reply to customer service that the refund will be posted EXACTLY on the 45 day. Several seconds to post a charge but 45 days to post a refund. DUH? At least weekly I receive OFFERS from EconomyBookings that look great but still have not received a detailed receipt explaining what the charges for a car rental include. I did more searching and noticed that I could get a detailed list of cost from other websites so I used them. I am also taking a second trip and checked out EconomyBooking again to use an OFFER. Once again I got a great quote but DID NOT INCLUDE LOCAL TAXES OR FEES. Maybe this website does give great service and deals, but not detailed enough for my business.

This company is a fraud - we booked a car in 2020 March but had to cancel due to COVID19. The customer service said we had two options - one is having a voucher and the other one is refund but will take 45 days. We chose refund because we do not expect to use their service anytime soon. We wanted to be considerate and not disturb them during a difficult time like this to rush our refund, so we did not call until today (2020 July) to follow up on the refund. Sounds reasonable right? However the customer service says they changed the policy (without telling us at all) that all refunds are going to be vouchers, what is even funnier is that we did not even receive a voucher from them. They do not acknowledge the promise they made back in March to refund us cash. And the customer service would not allow us to speak to a manager. We rarely leave any negative comments for any business provider, but this one is beyond our belief on how dishonest a company can be. We are reasonable people and we are totally okay with delayed refund, but stealing from your customers and hiding essential information from them are just awful and should not be tolerated in any situation.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
