I deliberately did not take out full insurance on my car hire for our trip to Portugal. Just prior to paying, they showed me the final amount which was 261.07 EUR, and there was no mention of insurance on the bill. After I paid, the final amount went up to 417.73 EUR and it showed that I had ordered full insurance--which I had not done. Scammers.

The navigation system in the Citroen C4 SpaceTourer was excellent! The car handled very nicely. The six speed manual transmission was smooth and easy to use. The luggage capacity was perfect. The car had seating capacity for up to seven. Very comfortable ride for tall people

Do not book with Economy Bookings company. This web based third party company is just taking your money. Once booked you cannot contact them for change or service. Countless emails to them prior to my rental date with no response. Ended up costing more than booking through the rental car company. DON'T USE THEM.
