Hi, I booked a car reservation by Academybooking.com and I booked my taffy car rental and I went to the counter by taffy and they told me that I'm not do list to rent them. I didn't know before that. Scammers. Did not give me a full refund even after it clearly states that they offer FREE Cancellation on their website outside of 48 hours from pick up time. They said it goes into credit for their website and if the funds want to be fully refunded, they apply a $65 USD fee to return the funds. What part of FREE Cancellation is that?
The phone number associated to them only deals with new reservations. I was told I had to email customer support for the refund, which I did 4 days ago and still no answer.
Go with other companies that offer great rates and a real FREE Cancellation Policy. Stay away from these scammer. Already contacted the credit card for a dispute. All websites shots taken as well. Stay away and save yourself a headache.

If there were an option to give this company 0 stars I would. For one, they sell cars that aren't available at the actual location and fail to let you know that there are other fees involved when picking up the rental. Then when you bring this to their attention, instead of them being accommodating like an actual company should, they get rude and belligerent and say you're not owed a refund. Do yourself a favor and just order from the actual company.

I have booked the car from EconomyBookings from 23/07/2023 to 01/08/2023.
The prepayment was 109.75 EUR.
Everything went smoothly with our car rental from start to finish.
Easy pick up and drop-off, great vehicle.
But Klass Wagen rental car corporation has charged the full price as if I didn't pay the prepayment. When I contacted Klass Wagen customer service, they responded quickly and informed me that they knew nothing about the prepayment.
So, when I have contacted EconomyBookings about prepayment refund, they ignored me.

I have booked a car for 3 months with them from Antalya airport starting from 10th November to 10th February. Unfortunately local provider was not able to find a car for me and they cancelled my booking. The refund supposed to take the place immediately but more than 1 month, still I couldn't get my refund. I paid for a rental car ahead of time, yet on the day of my rental, I had some unforeseen events occur and could not rent. I looked on their website to file a refund. It wasn't there. Normally sites like Expedia, Priceline, and Bookings offer almost instant refunds if you do not use the service. Not economybookings.com! Booked car rental with economy booking with full coverage insurance.
This insurance is with economy booking not with car rental company so on car pickup they( car rental) told me to purchase insurance, I refused since I already had one.
On car drop off car rental company found dent on one of the doors and charged me for repair.
Same day I put claim with economy booking, give them all the information and paperwork.
With multiple attempts to contact economy booking the answer is they will pas information and nothing else, no responds for my emails or questions on web site.
Stay away from this company.

At the time of rental, I was advised to provide a cash only security deposit in the amount amount of $150 that I was told would not be returned if the car was damaged. I drove the car safely and it was returned with no damage. Apparently, I drove the car on the highway 140 km/h, which was the posted speed limit. Upon returning the car, I was told that they have a tracker and that I was only permitted to drive the car 110 km/h and would therefore forfeit my deposit. These people are thieves. Do not rent from them.

They will literally not send your reservation through to the rental company after you have paid them. Then when you get to rental you have to pay rental directly, then economy bookings will call you a liar (direct language) and tell you the reservation is non refundable.
I'm surprised they haven't been taken to court and are allowed to operate.

They didn't take my car insurance by saying that liability should be 300k. However, I used many car rentals and they never had this kind of condition. This company is rip-off. I wanted to buy full protection from the link which i received thru emai sent by the company but it didn't work. It was $12.50 per day. I end up paying $35.0 per day at the time of check-in. This is rip-off. I want my money back. They also gave me a different car which has a milage of *******. This is insane. I will never use this car rental ever and not recommend it to anyone. My first time ever, being charged more than I was quoted. Extremely upset as i tried to email economy bookings but did not get a response.
We were quoted ******* yen for a 5 day car rental of a Nissan X Trail. When we arrived at Nissan Rent A Car, they charged us ******* yen. They said that we have to check with economybookings and that the price is correct. If we want the car, we have to pay this amount. Also, we were supposed to have snow tyres included in the price, but the company said there's no snow tyres for the car we booked.
We even paid a deposit of 97 euros, which meant that we were overcharged approximately ******* yen (about half the initial quote of *******).
Never use economy bookings if you don't want to be scammed. I rented another car from rentalcars.com for the 2nd half of my holiday and the price was exactly as quoted.

When you try to talk to a person on the phone,the menu with options will move you around and by the end you will never get someone to talk to.
I also try to email them, still no answer and I couldn't even get a receipt for my business trip to put it on my expenses.

Cuando llegué a recoger el carro me exigian que debia pagar un seguro de $20 por dia para un total de $280 non refundable y un pago en hold de $250 ( refundable).

For starters E Bookings doesn't answer their phone, they just run you through an automated service to no where. So if you have a problem, you are out of luck! They post a picture of an SUV but supply you with a car that cannot fit all your luggage. And don't get me started on Zezgo the actual car rental company. While waiting 2 hours for our vehicle we watched 4 different customers be ripped off as they are arm twisted into getting extra insurance or they will not release the vehicle saying that they don't accept their auto insurance. We are a family of four with a stroller and two luggage's and two car seats here for a Disney trip. We had to make two trips to our hotel in order to get all our stuff there. This was our only option as they wanted to charge us $120 per day more for a larger vehicle and E booking won't answer their phone. I took pictures of what is advertised and what you actually get and will flag it with visa for a full refund because the whole operation is a scam.

I booked a car with this mob before reading the reviews online. Once I read many reviews about how others were faced with exorbitant add-on costs when they presented to pick up their car, I decided to cancel my booking 30 minutes later and ask for a refund. Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
