With fee's equal to a physical auction room I so wish I had other options. Corporations like this are what pushes individuals over the limit with outrageous fee's and poor customer care just destroy the individual. Especially in this day and age. I know I'm pushed, way to far.
I am getting tired of having to buy something first before finding out when it will arrive. I waste my time putting in all the info just to find out that it will arrive in 2 months. What happened to the shipping business? Why can't they be transparent and tell you up front before ordering?
Wrote about the wrong buyer.! Forget the last post! He never bought the barlow knife. Sorry! Pat
They have everything and sometimes cheaper then even amazon. I like it better but shipping can take minths sometimes you have to pay attention when ordering ti the shipping date
I bought a sugar mold. In searching online, a seller on eBay, offered & confirmed free returns if the tin inserts didn't fit the sugar mold that I already purchased. Unfortunately, they didn't. I contacted the seller who was slow to offer the return. I then contacted eBay. They did send me a QR code for the return. (Good so far). I sent the return in original packaging. The seller doesn't have a Usps deliverable address. I informed his that the return was at his post office & he did go pick it up. The next day, I received a PARTIAL refund. He would not refund the shipping. I contacted eBay & they said to file a complaint. I did. I also left negative feedback since he advertises free returns & 100% satisfaction. EBay REMOVED my negative feedback & sent an email dismissing the formal complaint! The vendor has since removed the part on his items that day free returns. Vendor name: xlr8-imports Thanks for viewing
I personally love Ebay, great UX/UI and possibility to buy variety of the products. Customer service is awesome.
Radiatormaster-globalization delivers all the customer service that its name suggests. I ordered a specific tool box from them for the front of my trailer and they sent one that was too big to fit. After multiple emails they agreed to allow me to return it (how kind of them). I was then informed that the one I ordered was no longer available. I accepted their offer of a smaller, less expensive box on the understanding that I would be reimbursed the difference ($40.00) that I had paid for the original box. Now months have passed and in multiple emails I was assured that my partial refund would be issued. This has not happened. My experience with this company began with their incompetence and has ended with their dishonesty. I really don't have any more time to invest in trying to reclaim $40.00, so I leave this review.
I have operated a mobile power washing business for 23 years. If I treated my customers this way, I would no longer have a business. I will no longer purchase anything from a company that offers no way to speak to a representative on the phone and has no physical address. Lesson learned
Ebay è una piattaforma abbastanza nota nel mondo dell' e-commerce.
Ha tanti pregi, ma anche qualche peccato sulle politiche di restituzione e di reso
Ebay is the scum of the earth business who assists scammers into scamming hardworking businesses like me. They repeatedly assist scamming buyers in scamming me on so many occasions. Lately they violated their own policy that when an item passed through inspection & authentication that my no return policy still applies but when a new ebay buyer with 3 feedback had a buyer remorse issue they automatically approved the return even through I've been with ebay since 2006 with six figures sales they still approved a lowlife buyer
After creating an eBay account and listing products for sell, I received a notification that my account was permanently suspended without any clarification or reasoning. When I attempted to contact customer service for a resolution, they were repeatedly rude and refused to provide any information or assistance. The agent kept calling me by someone else's name and was either too lazy or unwilling to do provide any level of support. While I was more than respectful, the agent proceeded to disconnect the conversation on two separate occasions. It is clear that eBay is too big to care about customer service anymore.
Ebay even through my selling was canceled send me an email that they will use my bank account or any info they have in file that i used so far to take me money... no response no nothing on my mails... Stay away.
Payouts don't add up, at customer service no one can explain why you getting lesser then what you expect. Buyer pays taxes and shipping fees and then they charge sellers too the same. Only person making money here is eBay. Hope they won't last much longer
Ebay closed my account. That's absurd! When I asked why the rep said he could not tell me and then disconnected the call. Rude customer service. I've never sold any products, never returned any products and never spoken to any vendors. Why close an account that you make a commission on? Why not tell the account owner what the problem is? Why be rude to the person who wants to buy stuff? I've used ebay since 2005 and never experienced anything like this. There should be a class action lawsuit to prevent them from closing accounts with no reason why.
Ebay over drafted my account twice, which claimed I owed shipping labels that weren't paid for, and the amount they charged me was just tax that they. Created and that they will be deducted that amount owed which I'm sure I had it set up for my sells and shipping will get deducted. Once I sell something and with the same amount they can deducted from that, but of the looks of it Ebay waited to tell me that I owed two shipping labels after almost a MONTH!
I recently sold a secondhand Camera on eBay for $2050 plus $20 postage.
However eBay no longer users PayPal for payments and eBay now handle this themselves.
In due course eBay transferred $1787. 92 short by some $282.08 off the sale price. They had taken GST (this was new I never had GST removed for secondhand items prior?)
When packing the camera for postage it was dropped from a table causing damage and it would no longer turn on. I then contacted the buyer to inform him of this and further offered a refund.
When I looked for a refund method on eBay I could not find one unlike Paypal where there is a refund button. So I told buyer to request a goods return even though he had not received the goods as this would be quicker.
This he did but eBay took the full amount of $2070 and not $1787. 92 as paid to me.
When I contacted eBay via chat mode, It seems you can't just ring and speak with someone as I looked everywhere for a phone number with no luck.
I was informed that the $282.08 would be returned to me in 60 to 72 days? Further eBay was closing my account without appeal, due to activity that is dangerous to the eBay community?
I asked what I had done to cause this action and I was promptly told that they were unable to tell me why and I cannot appeal their decision.
I have been selling on eBay for 17 years and I have hundreds of positive feedbacks from 100's of happy buyers and no negative feedbacks. So I am at a loss to no why and I cannot appeal… if I have unwittingly done something wrong I'd like to know, wouldn't anyone? It turns out that the damage to camera was easily fixed, the battery had shaken loose… so I will be selling it elsewhere, anywhere but eBay.
Ebay is not seller friendly and will oftentimes scam sellers! They will allow a purported customer to return items for any reason. Then the buyer is stuck with paying Ebay fees. Recently, I sold a vending machine and in the ad I clearly stated "vending machine only". The buyer wanted a credit card reader and Ebay allowed the return and stuck me with over a hundred dollars in fees and shipping expenses. Do not use Ebay. They have no respect for buyers and should be regulated.
Dealing with Ebay customer support is so bad. They really can NOT and will NOT change any thing you call about. They do NOT care. It's only concern is they get money from all parties! If you are a seller they continually put your money on hold for 30 days even though the buyer leaves a raving good review. It basically in an underhanded way makes the seller give a 30 day warranty on EVERYTHING! Sold a brand new in the box laptop. Yep 30 days to get paid. So the buyer gets to use the laptop for 30 days to see if he likes it. No sane business would agree to this! As I will not either. Account closed!
I love Ebay wen it comes to buy electronics! I recive my phone in 10days and is in really good condition!
EBay has now keep 572$ of my money and states each day it will be in your bank tomorrow. This lie started on March 22 and continues as I still don't have my money. They finally called it a glitch today which is a lie just a way to get me off the phone. Find another service eBay no longer is an honest company.
Once upon a time eBay was a great place to get harder to find items for a decent price but now it's nothing but endless scammers that eBay NEVER does anything about. In my last two transactions as a buyer one was never sent and the other shipped random items with a hand written note that they couldn't find what I had bought and hoped I understood. Ebay did nothing, of course, and both sellers continue to do transactions to this very day. As a seller myself, my last two auctions were both "bought" by the same buyer that never paid. Again, eBay did nothing at all and that buyers account still active and presumably scamming other sellers.
I no longer do any business with eBay or any company even formerly affiliated with them such as PayPal since ANYONE that has ever been associated with eBay can be guaranteed to be a scammer and should not be trusted under absolutely any circumstances. My only involvement with eBay anymore is filing fraud reports and charge backs in the hopes they will eventually be blocked from VISA and shutdown in the US.
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
