EBay is a joke. I recently opened an account with eBay as a buyer looking for items that were hard for me to find else where. I located my items made a purchase that I have not received yet and began making offers and bidding on the other items. I was immediately permanently banned for life lol with no explanation other than the site does not want my kind of buyer in their community. I located a phone number to try to get an explanation and was directed through the number to go online. I have chatted with three agents in which they were all rude and unable to tell me why I was removed. They just kept asking me to send my ID to a link but would never state to me what I done to warrant them to need that. As far as I am concerned eBay can go to hell.

I had a seller the shipped to me and the item was marked as delivered even though it was not. The seller and ebay would do nothing for me. I wrote a bad review and it was taken down within minutes. I am out 200.00 and the seller gets a pass. If it is a seller that sells a ton of merch, that makes money for ebay so they will not go to bat for you. I will never buy on ebay again.

Worst company ever havn't even used my account and my accounts gets blocked dont use ebay they such a fraud

We have been an eBay member since 2009 with a 100% rating with 461 items sold. We recently sold items on eBay that were bought within 24 hours of listing and the buyer has received the item and they are VERY SATISFIED (100% HAPPY). The buyer has replied via social media thanking us!
EBay has been consistently lying to us concerning paying out our money. On March 15,2023, March 21, March 24 and March 29,2023 we recorded their agents lying to us concerning payment. On each of those dates we were told that our money would be released in 24 to 48 hours after they verified that our information had not changed since 2009. We have been Selling on eBay for 13 years and they have stopped paying out money. They are holding thousands of dollars and told us again we would receive our funds in 24 to 48 hours. Again on March 24,2023 the Agent repeated the same that it would be 24 to 48 hours. They will put you on hold for two minutes and come back and report we are currently reviewing your account please hold for two more minutes. Customer agent laughed at us for holding the phone line on March 21,2023. This problem with eBay started after the recent banks in California and New York filed for help, protection and are reported to be under investigation by our government as reported on most all the News channels. EBay will let you buy but they are holding the sellers funds and for No legitimate reason. Its makes me wonder if they are stealing the governments sales tax too?
BEWARE TO ALL THAT BUY OR SELL ON eBay.

I have tried for many months as a top rated seller to increase my dollar limit that i can sell. EBay has consistently rejected my requests which I have made to their customer service department multiple times. No one in the department that makes those decisions is allowed to talk to customers…. No one EVER GIVES ME A REASON FOR THEIR REFUSAL. When I ask to speak to their corporate headquarters in San Diego I was on hold forever before they disconnected my call,

Ebay force refunded my sale after the buyer broke my item. They took the $350 back at a time when I had already spent it on my mortgage. This company is a BIG SCAM!

I set up an account with ebay to purchase mealworms for my son's lizard. I compared a few sellers and found a few good options. We still had a few mealworms left and so I did not need to make a purchase at that moment. A few days went by my account was suspended. I reached out to customer service and they stated that it was a permanent decision. I have not sold or purchased anything. Literally, all I did was set up an account and browse. I don't know if this is general discrimination or what. They won't give me any answers and I haven't done anything. So I have no idea why my account was permanently deleted.

They over charge then hold your money saying it protects while you have proven the buyer acknowledged reciept of goods with no recourse.

I lost over 500 dollars this month selling my things with Ebay. My money is still locked and I cannot receive the $100 I have left after selling $800 worth of personal belongings. Please do not sell on Ebay.

I totally won! Bidding scams going on and eBay doesn't care! This has happened soooo many times! I've wasted so much time and energy on this eBay site! No more!

I won a previous auction and the seller cancelled the sale with a response from stating there was something wrong with my 'Ship To' address. The seller has now ended and relisted the same item more than four times. The seller states "it was not about the money" but declined my buy it now.
The sellers can do whatever they want and ebay does nothing.
Suggest trying to find out on their site how to submit a claim. You basically cannot. I had to go to Google and look it up. They have purposely made it nearly impossible to make a claim against ebay.
My claim now has been over two weeks with nothing. They do not care. It is all about $.
I also sold a bay (no returns accepted) and had it returned because my list stated a dimension was off by 0.1 inches. I received the item returned with a damaged box where I ended up losing almost $180.
Ebay is my last resort when doing business and I have been a member since 1996.

Long time ebay seller, had 0 negative feedback. 0. I have been trying to get my account re-instated for months now. Everytime I talk to customer support they are rude, they answer my questions with long answers that mean absolutely nothing, just a bunch of words that don't pertain to anything. They say they can't tell me the exact reason. That makes 0 sense. I'm lucky I don't need to rely on them, but I see this happening to more and more people. Something weird is happening over there. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The fact is, scammers roam this site in large numbers. Buyers are also not the brightest and if they want to they can make sure you never sell on there again.

As far as a seller, you are at the bottom of the list. They will freeze your account if anyone gets mad at you. They will hold your funds.

There's a reason this company has such a horrible rating across every review board.

Never order from eBay, This is a scammer site. They post pictures of items, you send your money. And nothing comes, and it's no need to follow the tracking. They know how to lie & make it look like the package is coming when there is no package. They go to the postal service & create labels. But never send the package. And You don't get your money Back. They lie & tell you that you have to wait 10 Business days for your money Back. When it only takes 1 second for you to send your money ‍ Amazon is much safer, & the Better Business to order from. Never order from eBay computer tech criminals

This fag from California bent the CPU pins trying to install it incorrectly and EBay sided with him and decided I had to pay him. The dude scammed me. I could see from the picture that one pin was bent. How does only one pin get bent during shipping. I WILL NEVER USE EBAY AGAIN. They side with people who are stealing and good people like me have to pay for it. FU** YOU EBAY!

This has become a terrible place to shop. Everything I have ordered over the last 2 years has either been defective, misrepresented. Or just did not show up. The shipping costs are ridiculously high and I am not impressed with the customer service.

I purchased a framed print on EBay. It came shattered to pieces and seller will not contact me nor will EBay customer service contact me. I will NEVER buy anything on EBay ever again and I will complain to all who listen. My life is going to be to ruin EBay.

They close your account with no reason bad site. I cant recomend sites that does this. Totally unprofessional.In the past i shopped on ebay with no problems most of the time. But after this they totally deserve 1 star rating

I tried to open an account and was told my past history puts the community at risk. I explained I have never had an account with ebay and who ever is using my email account is commiting fraud. They disconnected the chat after telling me there is nothing they can do. Consumer Be Aware! EBay should stand for FRAUD
