Don't buy ebags

This is what I purchased.

Travelers Club Luggage
Adventure 29" 6-Pocket Rolling Upright Duffel. I took it on 3 flights before the plastic part above the wheel broke completely into. I contacted customer service, nothing at all. Don't buy this junk it's a waste of money.

I do love the variety of choices ebags has, however some of the prices are just ridiculous. $188 for a crossbody bag? I guess certain brands just run that high, but I would hope for more of a discount on this site.

“I was not happy with my experience with ebags. Initially, I ordered a lunchbox for my daughter from Amazon that was sold by ebags. I ordered it in advance of her birthday, so it sat unopened for about 3.5 weeks after I received it. When we opened it, we discovered that a zipper was broken. The item was brand new and had been in its original packaging, unused, for a month. I returned the item in new condition, in its original packaging. Unfortunately, I initiated the return 31 days after the 30-day window for receiving a refund and therefore could not get my money back. (In my experience, many retailers allow for longer than 30 days to return an item, especially if the item was received damaged.) Ebags refused to make an exception, which I was not happy about. Later I found a purse on the site that I could use, although for much more than I would typically pay for a purse. But I had to use the store credit or lose it. I received the item, but there was an issue with it that made it not work for my needs. The photo wasn't clear whether I could fit my cellphone in a zipper pocket, and when I received the purse I discovered that I could not. So I returned the purse. Annoyingly, ebags subtracted about $3 in return shipping fees rather than refund the entire amount, as other online sellers do (e.g., Amazon and Zappos). That seemed pretty chintzy to me for a $50 micropurse. Now my order to replace the original purse is delayed, delayed, delayed, with an expected delivery date of 10 days after I ordered it. At this point it's very unlikely that I will order from ebags again. Stick with retailers with more reasonable return policies!”

I ordered a black Travel Pro 28" suitcase and received a blue one. I spoke to a CSR and was guaranteed to receive a replacement no later than the 29th of August as I left town on the 31st. I was clear NOT to ship if it arrived later than the 29th. The replacement arrived on the 31st while I was out of town. I contacted a second CSR. They will not ship another replacement or give me my money back until I return a very large box containing the blue suitcase. I have to drive all the way across town to a shipping location. In addition, they will not ship another replacement even though the entire thing was their error. The second CSR I spoke with was rude and said they do not have shipping that would of gotten the shipment to me before the 31st. The first CSR should of told me that since I said I would be put of town. Horrible experience - Beware.

Ebags.com overall has been pleasant for me in every way as a consumer except one.

Products - Vast Selection
Quality - Great (The items I've purchased are still going Strong)
Price - Affordable to Pricey (Good Range)
Discounts - Good (Offered fairly Regularly)
Shipping - On time but...

The shipping with ebags.com is where I had my issue (its not a big deal I just find it personally annoying). I ordered a tote and 2 purses and they all ship separately, so instead of having to accept 1 delivery I had to accept 3. I remember getting 20% of on this order which made the multiple deliveries easier to swallow after the fact.

Honestly as long as you can deal with the multiple deliveries ebags is awesome all around and that's the reasons I will buy again and will recommend them despite my annoyance with multiple deliveries.

I ordered a leather bag costing $200.00. The bag arrived quickly, but was rather disappointed in the quality. For $200.00 I don't feel that the quality was there, its rather cheap looking to me. On the positive side shipping was very fast.

I'm thoroughly baffled by the awful customer service experiences people are reporting. I've been a loyal eBags customer for 3 years and I almost exclusively buy their in-house brand. The best purse I've ever owned is from them, and all of their eBags brand items carry a LIFETIME warranty. My purse developed a bad lining rip on the inside and I wanted to repair or replace it. When I originally called customer service, the rep told me bags had a two-year warranty, and I corrected him and said no, all eBags products are lifetime warranty. He said he would check with a manager and call me back. I never got a call back, which bummed me out. But I recently emailed customer service to follow up, and in less than an hour after my email, the warranty department had a replacement ready to send. I didn't have to ship the ripped bag, send pictures, nada. I have the Piazza Day Bag (purse from heaven), Motherlode overnighter backpack, a laptop bag, and packing cubes. I'll never get handbags or luggage anywhere else. Ever.

Worst customer service ever. Don't buy there - it's just not worth it if something goes wrong. Trust me - I'm fighting with them now to get a refund for an order I never received, due to their error. Go elsewhere.

"Let me just start by saying: DON'T DO IT! After waiting a week they cancelled my order and sent me an email... ooopps sorry! We oversold the item. This is a "DROP-SHIP COMPANY!"
NO STORE, NO WHAREHOUSE NO INVENTORY! They just take orders only, they have no idea about inventory, shipping what is coming in or going out... Mr right Hand has no Idea of what Mr left hand is doing! They communicate with there suppler buy email only... if someone bothers to read them!
They screwed up two orders of mine before I just gave up and I am still waiting for my money back. The are a power seller on EBay 12% of there feedback is neutral or negative, that is over 300 people to date!
So to recap: DON'T DO IT, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

This was absolutely the WORST experience I have ever received from a Google Trusted and BBB company in my entire life. I ordered a backpack on November 21,2014. When checking out, the delivery date said it would be before thanksgiving (27th) in which I was leaving on for vacation. I constantly checked the tracking of the package and UPS had an estimated delivery of Tuesday, November 25th. It never arrived. I waited and called Wednesday night as we were leaving Thursday morning. UPS said they had never even received the package. My fiance then called Ebags customer service line, and the woman she spoke to told her that package hadn't even left the WAREHOUSE! I was very upset, since I needed the backpack for luggage for my computer and other items. We then had it shipped to our Disney hotel because the package wasn't in my possession. We were told it would arrive on Monday, December 1. She then called back two days later and said it would actually arrive on Tuesday, December 2. That Tuesday came, and still no package. Wasn't at the hotel. Called Ebags again, they said UPS had it and it was out for delivery. We left on Friday, December 5 and never received the package. When we called for a fourth time, a representative told us and I quote "the package is somewhere in Orlando, we just do not know where it is". It was the must frustrating purchase I have ever dealt with. I did get a refund, but the whole purpose of getting a backpack for my new computer is down the drain. I chose Ebags because of their excellent reviews. I will NEVER shop with this company again. I also recommend to others that you get the name and phone representatives' ID number before you hang up. They promised us packages would be certain places multiple times and my package is floating somewhere in the many lakes of Florida or delivered to someone else.

This company is a joke, i waited eleven days for a bag, called UPS and found that the item is not in their hands yet. No email from e bags no call nothing. Canceled the order and guess what, they can't give a confirmation number on the cancellation. To bad for you, guess they can give you man order number and take your money, but that's it. Do NOT buy from them.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! They cancelled my order for an unknown reason and then were not able to accommodate me for faster shipping EVEN THOUGH I WAS WILLING TO PAY. I HAD to have my bag for a trip and instead of allowing me to pay for overnight shipping, they refused to do anything to accommodate me even though I would have paid whatever it took. I talked to multiple people online and on the phone- all were rude and SO unhelpful. WARNING!

I LOVE this site and its eponymous products. I own the ebags brand Mother Lode, a laptop pack and the packing cubes and I they are essentials. I use and abuse them daily, travel with them and they take it. Highly recommended for bag purchases, but PARTICULARLY recommend that you take a hard look at the ebags-branded option, if there is one, for items you're considering.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

I bought a bag for my wife on here. It was exactly what she wanted and what I ordered. The only thing I disliked about the site was that I found it very hard to just simply browse the site to see what the offered. There was so much to go through. Definitely will not knock off a star for that though. I'd order from them again.

I ordered a bag
November 11, 2013

I ordered a bag. It lasted one trip only, one wheel got damaged. I was in Malaysia, with no way to return it within 60 days. Ebags told me to approach the manufacturer. After some unhappy emails, they gave me a refund of ten, I bought the bag for thirty. It was not hardy. Most unhappy.
