I love international sellers such as DH gate and feel buying. This lot are crooks and giving decent companies a harder time. Various blocks to me contacting them and leaving any review for a ridiculous product
I bought some items that turned out to be improper for technical reason. Asked to exchange them for the proper once that as per website available. No response to my 7 messages sent in two weeks with request of exchange.
Not return, just simply exchange where cost of return are covered by the buyer. Zero stars for customer service.
The item took so much longer to arrive than stated and queries to their customer service go mostly ignored. The responses I did get were to request more time to respond properly, but this never happened. Opened a PayPal case when I was at 8 weeks and still waiting for the item. Deal Extreme asked me close the case before they would respond to me.
The case was still pending when the item eventually arrived (at 10 weeks), but turned out to be completely wrong. Zero response from Deal Extreme about this and PayPal issued a refund.
Do not use - if you actually get what you ask for you're lucky. This is one of the poorest buying experiences I've had - I was just thankful that it was a relatively low value item and that I used PayPal.
While DX.com used to be a great site for deals, their customer service and website have taken a nose dive. It's still may be possible to get great deals on good products through DX.com, but if something is wrong with your order and you try to get an exchange or refund, you'll encounter bug after bug and nothing but silence or stonewalling from DX.com. The site will also publishes fake reviews under your account.
Most sellers are honest, but Buyer protection time is not enough for an item to reach many countries. And some sellers will delay responses or claim they have to check with the warehouse and wait several weeks. Then the time is over, and there is NO appeal process. Even if the buyer sends you the wrong item and doesn't want to do anything about it, there is nothing the buyer can do.
This was my first time returning to dx.com after a year of absence due to a previous bad experience. And I promptly get a second bad experience.
I'm going back to aliexpress.com. At least they have an appeal process, even if the seller delays past the buyer protection period.
Order a drone as it was shown in stock. Took the money instantly, then after a week of no response said it was out of stock I need to wait 2 weeks, after 20 messages and on messenger, I get a response, out of stock please wait. Asked them 10 times to cancel the order, no response. Then a message, saying out of stock, nothing about cancellation. Another 5 messages sent, nothing. I don't think I've dealt with such a irresponsible, ignorant and unprofessional company in all my years. Been a month and still have no idea what's happening. Can't find a email or system to complain. I'm £400 out of pocket with no idea where, when or whatever is happening
I ordered an item that was to be delivered in 7 - 15 days, it has not arrived after 79 days I have left 8 messages for them with only unhelpful auto-replys, the Email *******@dx.com gets returned as un-deliverable, I have no way to contact them, I will not use this company again
I bought quite a few products from this website and was not unhappy until I had to deal with aftersale.
Last item I bought was supposed to be a SSD drive and turned out to be a HDD once delivered. I complained about it and aftersale just made me crazy. I never got any sensible answer and off course never got any money back.
Worse, they changed my very bad comment on the product to 5 star. I know it since there was only 2 (very similar) comments on the item, among which one with the flag of the small island where I live.
I ordered gas struts fir a tanning bed. They took forever to arrive and had already gotten some when the finally came. They told me how to send them back for a refund. They received them back on June 10th. Today I get an email stating that they had only gave me back the tax of $2.80 on an over $50 order and charged the rest as a restocking fee! I would have just kept them if they would have told me this upfront and sold them myself to get the money back. Terrible wah to do business!
If you saw my previous review, you would know that I ordered a pair of Wii Remotes from this site and they were taking a "very long" time to be shipped. Well as it turns out, the reason for this is that they were stopped and the seller doesn't know when they'll be available again. They put them up on the site saying they were in purchasable, they allowed me to purchase them, and now I'm learning that they stopped them and don't know when they'll be available again. I am just amazed that this is something you can do. I am very disappointed and if you haven't ordered from this site, don't. I promise you the extra 5 bucks you're trying to save will be better put to that item on eBay, rather than that item that'll never show up.
I ordered Wii remotes from this website because they were cheaper than any others, had positive reviews, and I needed them for a Wii I had found and decided to set up after I finished moving. It's been a week, and after having trouble getting into my account, I was finally able to and I found out they hadn't even been shipped yet. The payment was successful and their estimated time to arrive was between 7 and 18 days. I would at least hope the remotes would've been shipped by now, but my expectations were not met. To make matters worse, I have no way of tracking the order when it is shipped. If these Wii remotes end up arriving, I may consider updating my review. But if not, stay away from this sketchy, ad-riden, unprofessional, scam site. Likely will not be using this sight again.
I purchased a Umidigi phone in January and then returned it due to it not working correctly. It cost $38 to send it back to DX. DX wanted me to to advise them of the phone getting back to HongKong and I was able to do this via the tracking that I paid for. After telling DX that the phone had arrived at its end, I was told to be patient as there was some sort of work bank up. That was months ago and my enquiries have been met with silence ever since.
Sorry but I don't trust this site even though I received the purchase refund via PayPal. DX also ignored PayPal so I won the dispute. I can only tell you that I will never buy from DX again and whether you choose to take this as a warning, is up to you..
I ordered an item from DX.com almost 2 months ago, they processed the order and took my money in 2 minutes, it took them over a week to send an email sayiing they were preparing to ship it, took almost 2 weeks for them to say they had shipped it, and now almost 2 months later, the product has not arrived. No repsonse to emails to the seller, it is incredibly difficult to contact ANYONE at DX.com to tell them the seller is a dud. Theres another word for DX.com... Crooks!
Looks like it's just landed in my country. Contacted customer support after 10 days took then another 5 to get back to me. Telling me to 'wait' we'll no that's not good enough especially when I could've opted for standard shipping and got it for free but paid 20% more because I needed it quickly. Absolute bull$#*! and have requested a refund for shipping. Because if I get the item great but pissed to pay more for shipping I didn't get
Box never came after 5 weeks when they quoted 5-10 business days at purchase. Their customer service numbers are bogus and the chat agents take 20 minutes to answer and then say you must wait 1-2 weeks it was spring festival here, no packages shipped from country for 2 weeks.
I placed an order nearly 2 months ago, for a simple, $7.50 piece of hardware.
I have spent the last 3 weeks mailing customer service - waiting 24-48 hours, then getting a response that just says "Wait a few more days"

I had other positive experiences (however slow delivery), but would not use them again. Refused any refund and the store credit can never be used.
I'm still waiting on 4 parcels from 3 months ago! I requested a refund which they agreed to give me but when the time came to pony up the conversation went dead! I will not be dealing with dealextreme EVER again and I Recommend others source out another company cause this one sucks!
It's a nightmare! Almost 3 months ago my package has been shipped out and still not delivered. According the tracking history it remained 2 months in Shanghai. An from DX. Com are asking to wait patiently... Don't trust them.
The only thing extreme about this place is the frustration. I wish there were Black Holes instead of stars, they would get 5 of those. 4 weeks and still waiting. The shipment keeps getting resent over and over because it contains lithium batteries. I asked them just to cancel it but no way. English comprehension seems to be very poor. Also, items you order may be unavailable but nowhere is this indicated on the web site and they certainly take your money at the speed of light. Looks like I will have to launch a dispute claim through Paypal. This is one site to delete from your favourites in the browser.”
I started buying here just before discovering gearbest. The dx website is overpriced and has fewer items, although they are quite reactive. Would grate them with 3/5, as I had no bad nor positive experience. The quality of products was always different, so no unique opinion. Probably it is due to their competitive model of attracting more and more one-time customers.
Answer: If you mean is it an actual business that sell products, the answer is yes. If you asked me if I would ever purchase another item from this company, the answer is no!
