I've ordered on DealExtreme multiple times, even expensive stuff above the $100. Don't know what problem most people have with the time of the shipment. Off course the shipment is slow, ever looked at the price off the things they sell? It's cheap. What you give is what you get! Just watch out for some fake items, the reviews are helpful and just use your mind.
A little example: a cable from HDMI to AV without a powered adapter.

DX shipped only one item instead of two. When I complained, the customer service representative just repeated again and again that they had shipped everything. Eventually, I gave up and counted my losses. I paid for something I have never received.

Beyond Bull$#*!!

Mobile phone ordered in January, it shipped in 3 days and was in the UK 2 days later. According to the tracking anyway. It's been stuck at the UK Hub (allegedly) since early February. Sent email to courier: No response from the courier. Sent email to DX: No response from Dx. It's now March. Starting to wonder if iv'e lost my money. I doubt I will ever trust buying from China again. Extreme this site is: $#*!eExtreme: deal... not so much... And the worst part, they don't care, they just don't, or they'd fix it. They don't give a flying monkeys once they have your cash. Local culture i'm informed says "well done you for making some money today" even if you catastrophically let down your customers.

Recently I made two reviews about their products.
One for a clear plastic Nintendo 3DS XL case which broke after several months. The other is about a 3.5 mm Plug (4 Pole) To 3 RCA A/V cable which is totally useless.
They did not accept these reviews. I wonder why reviews need approved. I'll give them more stars if they accept my reviews.

Do not buy anything from this site. I have waited almost 3 months and opened a Paypal dispute. Now they are asking me to pay 7euro because the customs returned the package...

They do not care about you only about your money. Their customer service is the worst available online!
There are a lot of alternatives.

I bought a Mobile Phone at DX.com... it arrived 1 month later, I was excited and guess what? The phone doesn't start at all after being charging.
The rest is a nightmare, I wrote to them via they ticket system. I wanted an exchange or a refund... they don't care about the law in your country, they just ignore you and play cats and mousses. A band of thieves. I got to go to the legal way until then maybe I will see my money.
3 Months and my brand new phone is in the box with no news of DX.COM

Bad! Very bad!

Absolutely the worst. Finally received the phone after a month they first got the wrong phone did a return, then shipped said it was returned again due to lithium battery so they had to use a new shipper. Shippment finally arrived in the U.S. with a European charger and the phone did not have some of the more important features that were advertised NFC Google pay for one. Do not order from this place you will regret it.

I've ordered and received more than 30 items. You get what you pay for. Super cheap gadgets, free delivery. Of course can't be perfect. All who rated 1 star forget that. Try once and you'll understand that is a nice website for buying gifts. Take your time, sometimes i've waited 10 weeks for a delivery. It's also SUPERimportant to make one order for each item you want. If you make multiple orders, you will be surely disappointed. It will take a lot more. But i've always received everything. If you want a better service, pay it four-Times on amazon.

Placed an order for a supposed in-stock item. Discovered item was out of stock I then cancelled and asked for refund. They completely ignored my request and carried on. It is now 2 months and no items have arrived and no refund, despite repeated requests by me. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUNCH OF THEIVES! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO. THEY JUST FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS.

I received my 2 orders and both contained the wrong goods Not at all what I ordered. I have been emailing every email and reply possibility on the DX website over a period of weeks Even flooded them with 30 emails in one day and I never got any response to my request for a return address to send the wrong goods back.
I can see that others call them NOTING BUT THIEFS and that describes them pretty well.

After reading the reviews, I am so glad DX did me a favor by rejecting my order about a day later. They wanted pictures of the front and back of my credit card and my identification. When I asked how do they secure the photo of my id and if I could pay by bank transfer instead, they wrote back with a message titled "Problem solved" and in the body of the message wrote "Thank you for ordering from DX.
You failed to pass the verification. Your order has been cancelled and the payment is rejected, meanwhile this ticket will be closed."
That's what they consider customer service. I am soooo glad my order did not go through. If this is how they treat an inquiry before the sale, you can only imagine how much "better" it will be further down the road. Stay far far away.

Items booked on 6 Jun 2016 are not shipped by 10 Aug 2016. The customer care, the ticket service, and all other idiotic contact us facilities are just crap. The only reply they ever give is please wait for 2 more weeks, as if the items are to arrive from MARS/ Intl Space Station. There is no feedback or status update from the company once the payments are made. They leave the customers on their own to check the status. Jokers should understand that even startup companies give regular updates on the order status and all the more when there has been a delay. And for delay of 2 months this company should be shut down... dismal and disgusting service. I advice people not to opt dx for purchasing anything as they r just cheaters/ liars who do not know the meaning of shipment. Shipment includes the time for the item to reach the consumer and not fu@@in removal of item from their shelves/ godowns..

My order was sent with 1 out of 3 of the parts. After many, many comments to customer service, I was asked to be patient. The agent promised that she would contact the manufacturer.

Today--3 months later--my customer service ticket was automatically cancelled because I hadn't responded in those 3 months. I've never know a company to need constant harassment to get them on track--especially when they begged me to be patient.

So I got a "great deal" on the product, but can't use it. So the real cost is a replacement product, my time and my aggravation. Fail.

Not sure they even exist!

I have order three items thus far through this company, it has been nearly three weeks, none of my customers have received anything they have ordered. According to my account, everything has been "full shipped" but customers are still not receiving products nearly three weeks later, and DealeXtreme is not responding to phone calls, questions, inquiries, or emails regarding the status of any of the items. I have decided to "cut my losses" and have cancelled my (new) account with these crooks. STAY AWAY!

BS on customer service
Ordered a fashion watch - same as the one I ordered 2 hours prior to this second order. The first order came in after 2 weeks. The second watch NONE. After more than 45 days waiting they give you BS about waiting 2 more weeks.

I know I made this review a couple months ago when the problem was still fresh. Now that its been a couple of months, I am changing it to 2 stars instead. They did respond via email to my complaint, but I am still not recommending them. Other people may have had better experiences. I for one have ordered from them in the past and they have delivered, and its only this last one that really messed up so I guess the law of averages in terms of customer service caught up with them. So, the bottom line is, if you want to order from them, just learn to live with the RISK.

I ordered an earphone almost two months ago from DX. Waited for that long and nothing happened. Then I started sending emails to their sales department, GMail sent the emails 4 times with no success! As their sales department don't accept the email. They want your money and that's it.

I then complained to Paypal and I finally got my money back from Paypal money back guaranty, as they did not even respond to Paypal! (see Photo Atached)
It has been a waste of time for me, so don't buy anything from these guys, you won't get anything back and you will regret it.
I would never again buy anything from Dealextreme, never again!

I used to order items and receive in 1-2 months. It's been over three months and I haven't received any of my three packages allegedly underway, two of them I've been waiting for over six months. DealExtreme refuses to refund the orders. Apparently they've turned into a scam domain.

At first i ordered sku# ******* item at 06/25/2014 (order# **************930) but they send wrong item. I contacted customer services and they offered me a difficult return procedure. I didn't want mess with their hardly understood procedures and then i ordered this item again at 09/02/2014 (order# **************867) but warned them so many times before and after purchase. But this stupid DX has sent the wrong item second time. Their lack of seriousness caused me to lose $43,74. Now i want my money back but they always offered me their nonsensical procedures. Deal Extreme is a fraudulent company!

I've bought from them several times without problems. But their communication is bad. They sent me a message saying that one or more items in my order are out of stock, and invite me to change or cancel them. However they do not tell which item(s) are those so I cannot actually do what they suggest. And the chat they offer is always busy and there is no email communication. There is a ticket communication which asks for obscure information such as SKU and this is mandatory. So there is no way of getting in touch with them.

I ordered over 2 years from dealextreme. 100% reliable. Recently faster delivery to Holland (app. 2 weeks). It's very cheap stuff, so sometimes the quality is cheap to. Sometimes surprisingly good. So be aware of that. I didn't have any problems with dealextreme.
