I ordered a coat 2 weeks before christmas after the 1st of the year I still hadn't recieved it. When I contacted them they said I should have paid for tracking and to give it up to 30 bussiness days, OH NO I didn't I was lucky I contacted paypall and my credit card company right away to dispute the charges I did get my money back fromt he credit card company. But it is the 26th of January and still no coat stay away from this site I recomend Thredup.com they are awsome and you can get any designer clothes for super cheap and I have recieved a bunch of items sooner then expected and great customer service.

After I've written this review, a different representative reached out to me and they have now refunded me in full. I'm changing my rating to 2 star instead of 1 star as a result of this. And since I've never received my order, I cannot comment on the quality.

I had ordered $75+ worth of clothing items on this site. A week past when the item was supposed to have been delivered, I sent an e-mail requesting status. Someone assured me it was on the way and wait for another week. Another week passed and still nothing. Again, I inquired about my package on the site and again was told to wait as the 'package is on its way'. Two more weeks nothing and I was given the following response:
"As you have not pay for insurance for your order, we can not undertake the compensation in the event of the shipment being lost. I will try to apply reshipment for you, however you will need pay us 25 USD to cover the compensation.
For refund, we will refund 38 usd"
Either way they are making a profit from what I had originally ordered. This place is a SCAM.

This place is a joke. Like many others said I wish I had read reviews before ordering. I ordered the correct size and everything was way to small. 3 items were missing from my order and the necklace came broken. The heal immediately broke off my shoes I ordered. They will not exchange or refund my items after I spent $200. The material and quality of everything is terrible. I hope they get shut down!

This place is a joke... although not a funny one. I have been dealing with these clowns for a couple of weeks after they sent me the most ridiculous shirt you can imagine, in lieu of the beautiful shirt that was advertised. This thing looks like it was sewn together by a blindfolded eight-year old with spoons. The fabric is like fiberglass and doesn't stretch at all. I was actually dumb enough to try it on and then managed to get stuck in it because the fabric won't stretch enough for you to remove it. I need help getting out of that nightmare, only to find myself in another one when trying to get my money back. The non-English speaking customer service person I've been dealing with only tries to negotiate refunding me $4 or $8. This site is a huge scam and I have actually contacted Dateline NBC to let them know that this would make for a great investigation. I would love to see them shut down!
I just concluded extensive emails with Dresslily about a coat I ordered that is sewn incorrectly. They wanted me to take multiple photos of the product. I told them that Zappos and other companies give me great service--I was shocked at the lack of service. And no way would they let me talk to them on the phone! This is a terrible company. Also, I ordered the coat months before I got it, and they didn't tell me it was on backorder until I contacted them. At that time I cancelled the order, but a month later, they SENT it! I liked the coat and wanted to keep it anyway, but as I mentioned, it didn't fit properly. This is an AWFUL company. I hope the word gets out.

I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering! I agree with those who say it is a scam, I ordered a top on 26 December it arrived on 22 January, which was bad enough but it was made out of really cheap and nasty material and was so small that I couldn't even attempt to try it on.
They don't adhere to UK internet sales rules so in order to return it I have to provide a photo of the item with a ruler showing it is the wrong size by more than 2cms but their size guide does not specify a chest measurement anywhere... really not happy:-(
UPDATE: After posting this review I was contacted by DressLily and given a full refund:-) It looks like they are sorting out their customer service issues so maybe they are not all that bad afterall.

From what I've read from MANY reviews, most people who order from here don't receive their orders. Coincidentally, most of those people ordered around the same time. I ordered in January 2015 and received both orders in the same month. The quality is cheap for at least half of the clothes I ordered, and the sizes are generally inaccurate. That said, there are a few nice garments in there, and I'm not completely satisfied or dissatisfied with DressLily. My verdict: Order if you have money to potentially waste and are capable of making the outfit work.
I hope people will check out this site before ordering. I ordered an item on 11/17/2014 and as of this Date 1/24/15 I have yet to receive it. Many emails to the company, lots of excuses. It went through paypal and after an investigation i finally just got my money refunded. Buyer beware this company is a joke.
Ordered a dress in November of 2014. By late January, 2015 it still had not shipped. Asked for a refund, but they only offered to refund 60% of the total!
I'm very disappointed. This site could have so much potential if they followed through on the orders. I've been waiting over 2 months for my package and still haven't received it. When I contacted customer service they offered to resend it at an additional cost to me and want to send me a link to make a payment. I'm not exactly keen on the idea of sending a foreign company my payment information again after I've already been waiting 2 months for an item. I'm almost willing to let it go and consider the $30 as lost money. At this point it's about principal l. I have no proof that they ever sent me the item in the first place just their word and the word shipped next to my order number on the website. I just want others to be wary when giving these people business. If you want to throw money away, order from dress lily. If it's too good to be true with clothes, it usually is. I'll stick to shopping in Forever 21.

Edit: At first this had been a bad review. No, this isn't a dishonest experience. What had happened was that I had asked my sister to order some of Dresslily's products because I wasn't able to have a paypal account. I waited for 2 months and nothing came at my door, so I wrote a negative review. Dresslily contacted my sister, and my sister realized she accidentally capitalized the second letter of our town. Despite this, the Dresslily representative offered us a refund. We didn't pay insurance for what we ordered, so the representative told us normally we would be refunded half. However, she talked to her manager about the situation and they agreed to refund us in full. For a site that gets so many bad reviews, I was astonished at the geniality and patience of the person who took care of our situation! I'm really impressed with the way they handled it, and in the end, I'm 100% satisfied.

See my past review! DONT SHOP HERE! However, update time! For those of you fighting for a refund (just like I was) KEEP FIGHTING! I send a message letting this company know that I KNEW they were com artists and that I had filed an Internet Crime complaint report. What was the response I got "can you prove that? Thank you for kindly understanding." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! They wanted me to prove that I knew they were com artists?! At that point I contacted Facebook regarding the Dreslily ads and everywhere else I saw their ad in order to get it banned. After doing all of this the "Admin" of the site stepped in because the person I was messaging started getting gutsy and childish. So long story short I got my full refund back. Has anyone noticed that all the 5 star reviews are written in similar tone... on the same days... with English that is slightly off? Because it's written in the exact same way as my AWFUL customer service rep who is lying and ripping me off. Just saying.
Wow! I really should have looked into this website before I ordered from them. I've ordered quite a few shirts and a jacket on 1-12-15 and from what I'm hearing I wont get the package for a MONTH? It sure didn't take them long to withdraw the money from my account!
I have tried to reach out and contact them after all the bad reviews, but this seems next to impossible! I cannot get anyone on a live chat, no respond to any of my emails, I'm feeling scammed for sure!

UPDATE: I echo Shannon's comments below. Read the "positive" reviews on here and note how similar and non-native English speaking they sound. Note also the rating history of the persons who are posting them. I received a refund from DressLily subsequent to my negative review. I am grateful, not to them, but to this site, because I firmly believe that had I not posted here and escalated a dispute through PayPal, I would still be waiting for a product that will probably never come. That, and I would still be reading annoying emails offering me a 20% or 30% refund and telling me to wait, be patient, package will be coming (and so will Santa Claus. At this point, I definitely prefer Santa Claus). AVOID THIS MERCHANT.
