I booked on Monday, dropped off my parcel on Tuesday and it was delivered on Sunday (1day early). That was to Seattle from UK. I call that amazing. Post office is expensive and takes 4-5 weeks. I suspect only dissatisfied customers are leaving reviews.
Delivery driver never rings my bell, instead leaves my parcel in a public unsafe, unmonitored place, on a completely different floor to where I live for it to be stolen, huge sign with red writing says don't leave parcels there, he just ignores it and never delivers to my actual address/door, despite having the address and me being home. Ignores my notes in the safe space option which clearly states to do deliver to my door, and if I am not home leave it outside my door. This has happened over 17 times where he doesn't bother coming to my door.He has delivered to my actual address TWICE. He rings the bells of other flats to be let in, so he can leave it in the public place. Does not do his job properly
I ordered an international service from the UK. I waited for 5 days when it was due to be delivered with no updates. I got in touch. I was told I needed to fill another form in that wasn't provided when i booked the delivery. I did immediately. I was told the parcel was now on its way. 2 days go by no updates. I got back in touch to say where is it? The form we gave you was out of date can you fill this one in. I did immediately and sent back. Thanks that's perfect, its on its way. Another 2 days no update. I get in touch. Where is my parcel? The form needs customs tariffs that are longer than ones provided. But you said it was on its way. Ok lets go through the tariffs and we'll do the forms together so there are no errors ( my suggestion as I wasn't happy with the previous responses). Completed immediately. Its 100% on its way sir. Nothing over another 2 days ( 2 weeks in from sending now). Where is my parcel? Its being returned by customs as the information wasn't provide in time. That's DPD fault for not providing me with the correct form. Sorry when its returned we can resend it for you. When will I get it? No we wont give you your money back until its returned to you. You wont get your items for 2 weeks. There wont be any tracking for this and we wont pay for your goods despite them being insured with us as they aren't lost or damaged, I now have no gift for my family no money back and no items. I haven't sworn or been aggressive in any chat and I was cut off twice during typing to the advisor who just kept saying there was nothing they would do. Poor and unreliable at every level.
Tip for consumers:
Don't. You aren't provided with enough forms and information unlike someone as thorough as FEDEX. Delays and disappointment and hours of wasted time chasing to not have an item delivered.

I've bought a laptop using Amazon Prime scheduling the delivery for Friday.
At midday Amazon say that they attempted to delivery but "we miss you".
No one ring the door bell.
No van saw in the street.
But they added to the tracker a fake photo (maybe copied from Google maps) of a street near my home.
They scheduled the delivery for Monday, but I'm not at home during working day...
It's impossible to contact them by phone: there is only an automated responder.
I've upgraded the delivery (5 pounds) to re-schedule the delivery for Saturday (free Monday to Friday. If you pay Saturday and Sunday).
But the schedule doesn't change.
We managed, God only knows how, to open a chat with them (the website traking works 1%, or less, of the times) and they admit that the driver was involved in car accident (so, where does the photo come from?)...
We contacted them Saturday morning and they replay with a mail full of excuses but without solutions.
We tried to contact them again in the afternoon... But only the server replay that they received the message.
So...
0 star for delivery.
0 star for customer service.
0 star for service in general.
0 star for the web site (I'm a software developer and a newbe could develop something better during his/her first week of work).
Never upgrade the delivery: it's only charity for liar. Better give it to the Red Cross...
If you can't avoid them, book 1 week of holiday, stay at home and pray for the delivery.
I will start changing company for deliveries. Last time, they didn't ring the bell, and they chose to leave my expensive parcels in my backyard under the heavy rain, ignoring the instructions to leave in my bluebin or deliver to any of my neighbours as we all are at home during the day.
After 2 weeks, another delivery, I was in the kitchen, I hear a small noise on my door, somebody putting something trough my letter box, so I didn't bother as I was busy in the kitchen. After 15 minutes, I went to my door to see it was a paper from dpd, again, they didn't ring the bell or follow any instruction. When I called to raise a complaint, which I did, they told me to write in the instructions on my dpd application and tell the driver to ring the bell...so incredible, you need to tell the delivery guy that he needs to ring the bell. Don't use the company until the start to do the things properly, as this is too much to stand, as they don't know now they need to ring the bell to do a delivery. I do food deliveries on week end, and I never had any problem with any delivery, just maybe waiting 1 minute or so, no more than that.
$#*! service, driver reach parked outside and then playing with his phone then left absolutely shocking service, I then got an e mail saying I wasn't there shocking just rubbish service if I can I'd give them -5 and I will make this public
I made a purchase on the 25th November and my package was delivered on the 19th of December with some missing items missing, i honestly don't understand why Estee Lauder uses them,What makes matters worse is you cant get hold of them on their so called enquire contact, i am so disappointed to say the least

Due to the negligence of the courier, the parcel was not received at the right time. I do not recommend this delivery service. Better to overpay and use normal delivery.
I had a delivery scheduled with this company so someone from my household took the time off of work to wait in.
Nobody knocked on our door. We then received an email to say that they had been unable to deliver the package as nobody was in and rescheduling the delivery.
Again someone waited in and yet again nobody knocked at the allotted time. We again received the same email.
We thought this strange as we had waited in and yet no one had knocked so searched for a customer number so we could check if they had the correct address.
We found the phone number ******* ******* which said it was for customer services.
When I phoned this number it was just a recorded message telling me to rebook online. I then discovered that I had been charged £6 for this number and charged for 2x SMS texts that I did not ask for.
I was not warned of this when I phoned up.
When I finally found another number I was told that the reason the delivery had not been made was because the road was closed.
I sent an email to the complaints department but no one bothered to reply.
It feels unacceptable that a company will scam people with a premium number that is just a recorded message to say to go on the website to rebook.
I will not be using this company again and will advise others who ask to do the same.
Dynamic parcel distribution, what a joke, I ordered a projector from DID electrical which was left under a wheelybin in my front garden that wasn't there when I got home from work, the driver obviously knocked and got no answer because I was in work, left my brand new projector in the front garden, obviously signed the docket himself, drew a smiling face on it and that's what I got for my 260 euros, a docket with a smiley face, no projector ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS LEAVING ELECTRICAL ITEMS IN FRONT GARDENS IN FINGLAS,
Well, where to start…… As I live in a flat at 9 level high property, I know that parcel delivery can be sometimes complicated. That is why I providing all possible information / accurate address, flat number, mobile phone contact number/make it smoother and easier for delivery drivers.
And here is my point – delivery driver arriving to my place, use intercom at default closed entrance door to contact my flat, I am opening door to invite him in or going to entrance to collect parcel on my own. In the case nobody answering the intercom ringing, I am expecting a driver to use my phone number and call me if I am in. That is why I am paying for delivery service.
But……this one is too much for DPD. They failed to deliver the same parcel to me twice.
I was home but not parcel delivered, just only notice at tracking screen, sorry our driver could not delivery your parcel, please contact us to re-arrange your delivery for another day.
I simply could not understand how this can happen…. I am home, waiting for it, have phone next to me, if something wrong. But nothing, happened, not delivery today again.
So DPD customer service simply wrote me on online chat that I should not expect driver use door bell, and call me as they have only their private phones and cannot reveal their numbers. Then they asked if I seen a picture taken by driver -closed door to the property.
Is that real? So this delivery service is really useless at this point.
What is the end of this? I was ordering a winter jacket with promise of quick delivery. Now is the 10th day since I bought it and still don't have it in my possession.
So please think twice if you will order something online and only delivery option will be DPD.

THEY SUCK.
I missed the delivery yesterday (if they even tried to find my house) so I paid to "VIP" my parcel to ensure it arrived before 6pm the next day. I waited home all day in the room next to the front door so I would hear to door go. NOBODY came and I receive a notification "Sorry we missed you". I WAS HOME. I called via the app and was ensured my details were passed on to the depot and they would call me back. B*ll*cks. Went back on the chat feature and they said my parcel would be delivered the following day. The driver could not locate my address but they never even travelled along my road!? I was spoken to like a bloody robot and never addressed the issue- WHY couldn't the driver locate my address? Did they even call for helpful information? NOPE. I'm not hopeful I will receive my parcel today before 6pm (which is what I paid for) and I'm working all day tomorrow so will probably miss it again...
Really disappointing with this so called "VIP" service. It's a scam and just another rouse to get you spend money for their crap service. I'm so disappointed. If any other retailers rely on DPD I will be avoiding like the damn PLAGUE.
I'm never normally a Karen but I haven't felt disrespected or shunned like this in a while. And I hate being patronised by staff that don't give a toss about their customers.

Bunch of thieves! Dont send your parcel here. Had delivered my ordered items twice and all got stolen. I dont know why company i ordered keep sending it through them despite the 1st was already stolen. Customer service dont apologize for the parcel lost or caused inconvenience to customer. Waited for the package for a week now. They keep denying that parcel is lost but later found out that it was stolen. They Change delivery date without notice and reason it as changed by customer which is a lie. They dont even try to locate the delivery adress and label it as difficult to locate eventhough delivery adress is a known building in the area. On top of that, they said they are not responsible to call client but they dont even ring doorbell. They will just take Picture that item is in your doorstep, making it a convenient way to steal your parcel because they know if your parcel is expensive. My parcel was stolen within their premises. 1st was in their warehouse and 2nd in driver van which are all skeptical then they will label tracking as unable to locate delivery Address and later label it as customer change delivery date which are all lie. They dont even notify prior whenever dpd made the rescheduling and reason it as customer made the rescheduling. Tracking information are mislabelled and all manipulated by them to steal your expensive item.
Terrible experience with these people, promised to deliver yesterday (PCR for travel) now had to cancel everything. Seeking legal advice as to recompense. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The DPD driver never delivered the shoes. When we started the investigation, the driver showed up at our door offering money for the value of the parcel and asking us to take back our complaint and sign on a paper saying we received our parcel. We thought this highliy unethical. The driver kept showing up at our door forcing us to do the same however we denied each time. He gave us his number and asked to call him if we change our mind. He also said DPD will do nothing and just drag your case and close the investigation.
The next day we received an email from ProDirect sport (where we purchased the shoes) that depot has confirmed that we have now received the parcel and closed the investigation.
The driver has lied to the depot and DPD has done nothing. Horrible horrible service. Please dont use DPD. I strongly believe that the driver stole the parcel as it was limited edition shoe and has lied to the depot. The depot has no evidence at all that we received the parcel.
When escalated to the customer service team, they simply hung up. Either DPD is in on the this stealing scam with the driver or doesnt care enough to do anything about it
Expected a parcel today addressed to me at my address - did arrive - on-line said delivered to coop. Appalling
The package was absolutely fine and it was full of wine and dine glasses. They arrived without even a mark, good.

I was waiting when it arrives in Germany 14 days,
Then I saw on the German dpd website that I could choose a delivery date. I chose the 21st of October and was sitting at home waiting for my parcel. 21st of October at 08:15 am I updated the Germany dpd website to check when they will deliver my parcel and I saw that parcel was delivered 15 minutes ago... i started calling to dpd customer service and asking them where is my parcel. Who signs for delivery? Where it was delivered? They said sorry you have to send the request to customer service and they will reply to you soon. I told them that you are the customer service agent, you know everything, please find the driver who delivered the parcel and ask him where is it. They said sorry we know nothing we only can send a request. So they send a request but I did not get any answers, a call the another time, they send another request, then I send 3 requests by my own throw the website, on email *******@dpd.de, *******@dpd.de.
They still ignoring me.
I called pdp cs again 2 week ago, they said sorry the courier delivered your parcel to the amazon warehouse. WTF?
My home address is not even close to the amazon warehouse.
Now they are waiting when amazon will send my package back to dpd,
For 3 weeks of texting *******@dpd.de and *******@dpd.de, I got only one answer:

We are very sorry that there was a discrepancy in the delivery of your parcel.
Please contact your sender directly to report the loss of the parcel. He will clarify everything else with us for you and take the necessary steps.

I contacted the Chinese sender the same day when they lost my parcel,
He was trying to contact the German dpd cs, but you know what?
They did not answer him!
I will call them right now because I still did not get my parcel and they still ignoring all my requests.

What I nightmare this company is, cheaters! Let's start from beginning I've ordered ( expensive) parcel, paid for next day delivery. Was waiting over a week but it's not the worse thing. Few days before I had a message from DPD that my parcel is in local depo and will be ready to collect from 1st of December ( today is 7th of December). Today i had a messages from them " FINAL REMINDER " saying that this is my last day to pick up this parcel from drop box if not they will send it back to sender, they never send me QR code which I need to open this box so I called them asking for a QR code of course they can't do nothing about it etc, so they gave a number for customer service for this drop box, one lady put me on hold saying that she will get this QR CODE for me in a bit, while I was waiting someone else start talking to me, again I had to explain what's happened etc and she put the phone down, I was on phone for over one hour talking to multiple people everyone was saying different things, in the end one lady told me that my parcel is missing! Hooow? Few minutes before it was in drop box, they told me to contact the sender which I did they can't do nothing about it because they can see that parcel still is in this box, so basically I lost my expensive item, they can't do nothing about this,no refund no nothing! I'm frustrated, it was very important for me,and expensive, they didn't even apologise, I just can't even explain what I feel now, how can they do something like that! People paying for their services!

It always says "sadly couldn't deliver", even though we are at home. Always gets brought back to the local DPD Shop...
Claimed they attempted delivery May 15th - was home all day and no delivery. I did not receive receipt of attempted delivery. I than saw through track my parcel, that they would attempt to deliver next day and each day they said they would attempt delivery and never did. I tried to call over 10 times, no answer from customer service. I emailed customer service over 10 times and only one reply asking for my address again - which I supplied a May 21st and than no response to my following emails.
I tried to edit the pick up location and phone number and this wasn't confirmed.
I than finally got through to a rep and was told my package had been sent back to sender as the address was wrong on the package. I asked them to confirm what the address was, the address was correct. They than said the company I ordered from was to blame. They than said it's not their responsibility and it was the fault of the other company and I must source a refund from them. Which is impossible due to their customer service team not in operation due to covid 19. I've just lost a substantial amount of money On items I saved up for, due to DPDs lack of professionalism. Train your staff. You're making so much money during this pandemic and you can't even treat your customers well?!
Absolutely terrible experience. In fact the worst company ever to deal with. Take on your parcel and failed miserably to honor the delivery
I placed an order and paid extra for next day delivery; however DPD seem to have lost my item as it never got delivered.
The item I ordered was medication for my pet and I needed it urgently as my cat's health deteriorates massively without the medication. As the item never arrived, I had to order an emergency supply from my vets and paid more for it!
Then I placed another order for DPD delivery. It was supposed to arrive the next day and I was given an hour slot between 14.04 and 15.04. I took an hour off from work to ensure I'm home when the order arrives; however it never arrived!
I called DPD and by the time someone answered, he said he will put me on hold to check with the driver, but he ended the call instead! I called again and I was told the driver had to skip deliveries and now my parcel will be delivered between 6-7pm!
I tried to reach DPD to resolve this for me and for a refund/compensation for all this mess. Their website showed various ways of contact; live chat, call or what's app chat. I tried to connect with them via the live chat and didn't get anywhere. I sent them a message on Whats'app, they never answered until today! I tired calling them and every time I call, I was told a manager will call me back in 2 hours. After many days of calling and keeping requesting to speak to a manager, the manager called me back after 10 days, when I was told the call will be within 2 hours of my request each time I called! The manager refused to give a refund or compensation for all that happened!
This is extremely terrible and poor customer service. I will never use DPD again and I recommend that others don't use it so they don't get disappointed!
