They charge the most atrocious fees and they won't give you a full refund if there's a problem with your order. Speaking to a customer service agent is pointless, they're extremely RUDE and unhelpful. I won't be using DoorDash ever again. If you order from DoorDash, you either won't receive your food at all (the dasher will steal it), the order will be tampered with (the dasher will take a bite out of your food), or your entire order will be incorrect. Don't waste your money with this company! They're nothing but frauds and scammers.

Refuse to refund anything

Multiple times they have refused to refund orders that should up hours late and when I mistakenly made an order to an old address and immediately canceled it they refused to refund the order.

The food is delivered quickly and the drivers are cheerful. I wish that they had a way to keep the food hotter, but other than that I have no complaints. I've had problems with a couple of the restauants they work with, but DoorDash itself is good.

Three (3) times in the last few months I have received food orders which were not mine. I am not even a Doordash customer! All homes in my little neighborhood are well-marked with the street number. It would seem the drivers cannot read. Unfortunately, nothing on the delivery receipt shows any way to contact Door Dash nor the driver, nor the person who placed the order, nor the restaurant from whence the food came! Thus, it goes in the trash! Really ridiculous on all fronts!

Terrible service

I ordered food and used DoorDash for the first time. Our food was left down the street and a picture of the porch was clearly the wrong address. When we got there the food was gone. I called the driver contact and the number was bad. DoorDash denied a reorder but offered me a refund. The refund will take 3-6 business days (over a week) til my $60 hits my account! Unacceptable! How do they stay in business?

My daughter was scammed

My daughter ordered 30 dollars worth of pizza from door dash yesterday. The driver Dena delivered the pizza to a wrong address, when my daughter contacted door dash she was told that they wouldn't replace her food and that she wouldn't be getting her money back, they gave her 11 dollars door dash credits. It isn't my daughter's fault that Dena made a mistake. I feel like my daughter was scammed. I posted this on Facebook a few minutes ago and I've already gotten several comments from others that have been scammed. I think a class action law suit is needed

DoorDash my $#*!

I recently deleted the app. I'll never order food delivery through DD again. Not only are they horribly over pricing the orders, charging ridiculous fees, there's been SEVERAL times I'd place orders in the evenings and the dasher would wait until 5 minutes before the place closed to pick up the order then drop the DD order effectively stealing my food. Called DD, as expected customer service was useless, after explaining the situation - she said another DD would pick up the order. Like a true idiot - as if she didn't even hear me. I re-explained I had already called the restaurant and confirmed the order was picked up by a bald middle eastern man with a beard named Khalid, and the restaurant was now closed. All she could do was cancel the order and issue a refund. Lied and said a "specialty" team will investigate what happened with the order. I snapped - how the $#*! are you going to investigate what happened when you just told me you were going to find another Dasher for the delivery. They don't know who the $#*!'s delivering these orders, unless the order is completed. $#*! DD, $#*! DD drivers. A refund doesn't make up for inconvenience and the theft of my order.

Make sure that if you cancel doordash and it tells you that you can use your benefits till a later date to check to make sure that they don't cancel it and refund you a pro rated rate and then tell you. You have to sign up again, to continue to use it even if you wanted it to cancel on the date that I said it was going to.
Basically stealing little buts of money unless you see it and contact them. Then they will tell you its automatic and they cant do anything. I had to figut and tell them they were stealing money from me since they auto refunded less than i paid, i was able to get them to refund the other bit but had to press for 20 min for.59 cents... that adds up

Unprofessional website

I had an offer from Doordash and tried to open it on my browser. I was thinking to change my order and change the store, but I made a mistake and punched the wrong button and punched place order. In other food delivery apps, they have "cancel" order on their website but not on Doordash. So I tried to text them. It was not even more than 2 min, ( I took a screenshot) but the customer service named Chuck Adam and their website said that they could not cancel/refund the order, and could only refund the tips and delivery fees because they already made it. This is very lacking and unprofessional, and a shame for Canadian food delivery if they want to challenge Uber.

Do Not Use DoorDash

DO NOT TRUST DOORDASH! They have terrible people working for them who cannot use MAPS. You will wait for your order only to have it cancelled by dasher like Kaleesha Bent! No Resolution from their customer service! DO NOT USE DOORDASH! Or use it at your own risk.

I JUST FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BECAUSE THEY OVERCHARGED ME ON MY CARD AND THE RESTAURANT HAD FORGOTTEN TO ADD MY DESSERTS AND I CALLED DOORDASH 5 DAYS LATER TO GET MY REFUND AS I'VE BEEN BUSY WITH MY PACKING AS I'M MOVING OUT OF STATE BUT THEY TOLD ME I COULD NO LONGER GET A REFUND BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN 5 DAYS. Orders are frequently over an hour late. I ordered pizza from the block right behind me when I had a broken foot. Over an hour, no pizza. Dasher was double, triple? Dashing. Passed my house. Was in other towns. What am I going to do with ice cold pizza? Tonight I ordered chips and dip…yes, just chips and dips. 20 minutes. Over an hour and a half later no chips and dip. Had to cancel, no idea when it was coming. So I got a refund but no dinner. Where's the chips and dip? According to customer service they were returned to the restaurant. Eew. What I'd like for the frustration and trouble is my food and a refund. This happens frequently. I always have dashers leave the food without telling me. On the steps in the freezing cold winter. Knocked over, drink spilled. One time everything in the bag was laid out across the entire front steps and the dasher is snapping photos on his phone like a photographer. Let's try Ubereats.

You could give them a $100 tip and the dasher will drive 20 miles in the opposite direction to deliver 3 orders that get dropped off before yours. You will still be waiting over an hour to get your food delivered. When you call customer service to complain, the Asian lady will only refund you $10.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:
This was very disappointing. They delivered me wrong item. I refused to take the delivery of this order; Doordash should have canceled my order or called me back to get my approval before delivering a different brand\Product to me. The delivery guys called customer service and suggested me that I should take the delivery of order and call doordash customer service. Also mentioned that they will tell me where to return the order and get my refunds.

Doordash refused to give me full refund; refused to take the item back; The response I received from them; I feel like I got scammed by doordash.

This company is giving me so much stress, hassle, frustration as I am spending so much time either writing emails or calling you to solve the matter instead of doing my work. This is unbelievable, Pathetic.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THINGS FROM DOORDASH; THEY WILL DELIVER YOU GARBAGE; YOU WILL END UP CHASING THEM TO FIX THINGS AND THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FALL IN DOORDASH TRAP. I JUST BURNT MY HAND.

I wish there was a way to rate the customers or maybe put them on our own do not deliver list. Without a tip the amount of money we get paid is crazy it ends up that I am paying to deliever someone's stuff out of the goodness of my heart. Like delivering an order 10 miles across Baltimore city for 4.00 knowing they are not gonna tip u when u get there either, if you decline the order the. Door dash punishes you and you will never get a chance at a decent order …I've made that mistake. I wish they just added 15% to everyone's bill and leaving the option to increase it so at least we making a little something especially with the cost of gas and car insu…. What's the deal with not tipping … I've never got a complaint delivered to wrong address I update the customer the whole time and never get tips I was making like 8.00 a hour on a good day I don't know how people can afford to keep doing this….
