I ordered a wig, and received the wrong item-- a weave sew-in-weft! There should be a corporate number to speak with someone if there are customer service issues, and who has to fill out a form to return something when the wrong item was received-- And no one answers the phone!
I have been contacting Divatress about two wigs that were returned to Divatress by mistake. They won't respond to me about giving me a refund or sending the wigs back out
I ordered 2 bottles of Lottabody Nourish Me Leave-In conditioner with Milk & Honey on December 24,2020 and I received them within a week. I thought this was amazing given the mail was so slow and the other carriers were full. It shipped UPS and I got it- it was well packed in bubble-wrap and a snug box. I was very happy. I was happy to find this Lottabody product bc a lot of stores didn't have this particular product. I had not shopped at DivaTress before but I definitely will in the future.
I ordered last Wednesday (17th March) and sent a couple emails wondering if my order would be fulfilled, still haven't gotten a reply Two of the five wigs I ordered now say "out of stock" so I'm worried they sold out even though they were in stock when I ordered :( If someone from the company could get back to me, I'd appreciate it, but judging from the other reviews I'm thinking I got screwed.
I've ordered from them 3 times and unfortunately each time there has been an issue. The products themselves are good quality but the company itself is unreliable for any communication. I ordered crochet hair on August 5th and realized I didn't need it so I requested the order to be canceled on August 6th, I got zero response and on August 8th I got an email saying my order was shipped! Obviously another I asked them if they could cancel my order as soon as I got the email notification and they said it was too late, I then asked in the same email on august 8th if I could get a return label…and I tell you I have emailed these people 5 times! No response until finally on August 16th I sent a very angry email explaining my disappointment and disinterest in remaining a customer and they finally answered my email yet didn't answer my question about a return label. Turns out if you want to return an item you have to pay out of pocket with your own money to return it and if they choose to deny the return you don't get your refund. So basically if you return an item/hair and they deny it, you now just returned the item and gave them extra money while the refuse to give you a refund. Ridiculous
I bought two packages of Janet Natural Virgin Remy Human Hair, and not only was it NOT the length I ordered, but it was sparse! It measured 12 inches and I ordered 18 inches. I paid 60.00 per package and it was probably worth about 10.00. While the hair is soft it is DEFINITELY NOT worth the money, or the time it took to braid my hair! A TRUE disappointment.
Initially I placed an order of 2 wigs with them. One of the colors wasn't available at first but then all of a sudden it was. The first order was shipped out then a second order was sent out unbeknownst to me. I ended up with 4 wigs, 2 of them being the exact same color/style. I didn't need 2 of the same wigs, not did I need double the charges for shipping and duty.
When I called the store to find out how they were going to rectify their screw-up, the lady that answered the phone said simply that "they weren't going to make amends at all".
I won't be ordering again nor will I recommend that anyone else does either. From the other testimonials they do this quite often which is really crappy. I have alopecia and where I reside in Canada we do not have provisions from Medicare to cover the cost of wigs. That was money that I couldn't afford to lose.

They do not send what you buy online, beware! No contact number, no answering emails They seem to advertise stuff of a certain brand but it comes in different packaging
As long as you look at youtube reviews beforehand, you should little issue with the wig selections and expectations. My only gripe was the free delivery promotion offered for spending over a certain dollar amount leaves you with USPS SmartPost, which is an awfully slow service; Fedex or UPS actually picks the package up from the retailer and then delivers it to the local post office, where it usually sits for 1-3 business days before being sent out to you. You can schedule pick ups if you want to get your order in a timely manner (I did this) but this sort of defeats the whole delivery promotion idea if you have to pick up the order yourself anyway!
Would order again, but I would prefer to just pay the shipping to avoid USPS SmartPost.
All the Beauty Supply stores were closed in NYC during the Covid-19 Stay at Home Order, so I placed my order for three Motown Tress wigs and received my order within 5 business days by free delivery. I got exactly what I ordered and will definitely order from Divatress again. Very happy customer!
I brought a half up and down. Got the hair was open and then upon me taking a closer look you could tell it had already been touch and one part was not even attached to the box. So I send it back reminder I had to pay shipping cost again. So I call to get my refund at first they denial it was there. So good thing I had my tracking number, I told her it has been sit in y'all warehouse since monday, that when she's like no. I said I have a tracking number. Then she said let me take a look. So then she said I found it. Was not trying to refund me my money. Later sent me a email that they going to refund me only what I pay for the hair not my shipping cost for my original order 7.99. How when I also pay to send a product back that y'all know was already use and I can't use. So I lost out on 7.99 plus return shipping 3.90. For something I could even use. This company is such a scam. Will never buy from them again. I should have read the reviews first. I will stick to Sam's beauty for online shopping for hair and wigs, and their ship is much cheaper and free return if they don't have it I guess I won't be get it. Customer Service is awesome.
I recently ordered a lace front micro box braid wig from Divatress. I had been waiting for this item to be back in stock for over a year. I requested a message update when the item was back in stock. I completely forgot about it, until one day I got an email saying the item was available once again.
I immediately went to the site, and ordered the wig. It was shipped fast and arrived right on the day expected. I was also able to get shipping and up to the minute delivery updates.
Upon opening the package, I was pleased with the quality of the wig. The microbraids are uniform throughout and the lace is soft and really looks great when applied correctly.
I am completely pleased with my purchase and I would definitely recommend DivaTress for all of your hair needs. They can be a little more expensive than some other retailers but remember - you get what you pay for. I paid for quality and that is what I received. I have received tons of compliments when I wear this one. Very pleased!
