Boy oh boy, make sure to avoid this website if you can help it. I normally buy my wigs from local retailers and once or twice from websites but they had a sale at wow wigs that seemed very generous. What a mistake! They don't actually have the wigs on hand so be prepared for 4-5 business days to process your orders while THEY actually order your product. And the colors you picked out meticulously? Just suggestions! You see, if "the manufacturer has changed anything" (their excuse for pictures being pretty different from the actual product), they don't update their website (they were using a stock photo of a product that had been updated about 2 years ago lol!) so you may or may not get your desired hair color choice.
Instead of calling to confirm if I would still like the items, I received two incorrectly colored items and one defective item. I contacted them to attempt to waive the restocking fee and I even offered to pay the shipping myself. I was given the run around and told it was a manufacturer issue! Unbelievable!
So I contacted the wig manufacturer after not receiving the callback that I was supposed to receive within the same day (the CSR reps excuse was she emailed me back, from the photos I sent her even though I confirmed with her 3 times on the phone that she would call me back!) and was told the wig manuf. Generally assists the retailer but that they would look into the matter.
Apparently, this website is known for selling defective items but they are not advertised as such and not fairly marked down to their defective value.
What a ripoff! I will be contacting my bank to pursue a chargeback as they don't seem interested in taking these wigs back or offering me my refund, only a store credit to buy more defective and poorly updated products.
I've attached pictures of the wig in question, they don't even look like they are from the same company!
